That must be a pretty fucked up job then. I wonder how you lasted all these years without any increment in your salary. There might be something interesting with the job if you have lasted so many years on it.
May be it's a government job or may be you like the job too much which is why you are still on it. Well, inflation is something that works this way and an increase in salary is a necessity to survive the inflation.
This is a generation where saving money won't be enough. In order to tackle inflation we should have a side income or a passive income. We can't rely on our main job to serve our needs along side the inflation for a long time.

This the impact of the current economic system that use fiat as medium of exchange. The inflation of fiat makes people who only have fixed income suffer financial problem. But it will not affect traders(merchants) and other industries. If we want to stop it then we should stop borrow money which there is interest on it. This way can slow the effect of inflation but indirectly. But the most effective way is buy use gold as main currency because it can't be printed so the amount of it will not easily become excess.  Crypto price would be thru the roof too, salary didn’t soar high, what do you even brother about working for it, it take a lot of efforts to get this job, a lot of investment and money well spent to get a certificate, what on earth to have time to get into crypto? It is full time job! My boss will fire me anytime if they know I spend time on crypto!

You can’t be serious, crypto couldn’t buy food yet, it is just spendable after you convert it back into fiat, and goods price in btc will be soaring high too, also come with billion dollar fee to use this service, and not to forget novelty high crypto tax when you take profit.

I somewhat agree to what you are saying but not completely. Back in 2004 when I was a college student, I decided to do a job for 3 months during summer time to earn some pocket money. So I joined a call center where my job was to receive inbound customer service call for Airtel customers and I used to get paid 6k INR per month.

I have now come a long way in my life but that particular company still exists and they continue to pay the same salary to a fresher call center agent. But that's not where the story ends because the people keep on changing on that same position!

We all grow in life as well as in income! No need to get so paranoid!

The problem you're addressing is well known. I recently read an article saying, for example, that there has been no inflation-adjusted wage growth in the United States since the 1980s. This is mainly due to globalisation. Especially industrialised countries that have little industry and mainly rely on services have this problem.

Every year the salaries suffer a correction (positive correction), unfortunatelly the prices of goods increase much more. I don't know from where you are, but the salary can't be the same for 30 years. I believe the economy is broken for 2 main reasons:
Broken welfare system and many public employees in the country. It creates a lot of costs that must be paid by everyone else. So you aren't actually paying only for your goods, but to maintain a broken system full of privileges for a select elite.

You know that this isn't true right? 30 years ago or in the 1980s you would expect to have a starting salary of 18,000$ annually and at the present date you are expected to at least earn 50,000$ for anyone who at least finish a college degree, now even if you factor in inflation and 50,000$ for a starting salary is a much bigger bump in price compared to what we have 30 years ago. Now that you have been an employee for more than 30 years than I expect you to at least go over than 50,000$ with the expected salary increases and promotions you jave received in the past.

It's just the same in our country. Salary is increasing $1 almost every two years and the means of living is getting expensive which makes life harder each day. Working with minimum wage sometimes can't sustain all our necessities. That's the reason why we need a part time job or business. We have to work and earn double.

In Philippines we have a minimum wage but the salary can increase depending in your performance specially if you are always doing overtime work or there is a holiday increasinng your salary in a day. A group of people protest to increase the minimum wage. It only means that goverment can implement the increase of the salary.

Not all company will give increasing salary for their employee because it depends on the business their running.
But I think in other jobs, you can get a salary that will go up every year or 5 years.
But in the cryptocurrency, if you have many profitable coins in your wallet, you can see the value will increase in one year later or more.
So I think it's not a problem if your salary doesn't go up because you have so many coins in your wallet that are waiting to increase.
And when all the coins you have increased, you can sell the coin to take your another "salary" as your reward to hold the coins for a long time.

In a society where capitalism dominates and the rest of the world suffers, what do you expect? And the sad thing is even if the banks and governments conspired for this to happen, the society still trusts them in a high regard which, IMO, they shouldn't receive. Instead of appreciation in value, currencies devalue; price of goods increases, overall salary for the working class depreciates/remains flat. In order for a something to change, the proletariat needs to do some protest, public outcries etc. This financial system is designed to make the rich, richer, and the poor, poorer.
