Thank you guys for kind replies, I have choice between Malaysia, Singapore and Thai, I will choose best option for me but right now I want to go to Malaysia.

Can you suggest which city will be best option for me and if you have any suggestions feel free to give me an advise.

PS: I won't be able to withdraw money from luno or local exchanges? only through localbitcoins? I don't want to trust them Smiley

Best option would be to hit our capital first, Kuala Lumpur. You'll probably need some preparation to do before heading out for an adventure ie getting supplies or most importantly paperwork with your embassy. In the capital too, you'll be able to meet someone (from each of the states) more than willing to recommend next spot for you to be at. Malaysia is relatively small anyway.

I don't think it is fair if any of us Malaysian tells you where to go in specific now.
We have 14 states and maybe about 20-25 cities and each of them has their own unique experience to offer you. Because of this, the best person to choose is you yourself.

I did some travel experiments abroad myself.  From what I have experienced the only advise I can offer is - if this your 1st visit, Malaysia is moderate in every aspect.
We don't have the best tropical beach,
our culture are not the richest in the region,
we definitely are not the most economically advance country... but what we have to offer is an absolute convenience while you are around.

cheers.

Wow, bro ponya Inggeris byk awesome ni. Langsung X de grammatical errors, tabik bro! Pandangan yg anda nyatakan di atas mmg betoi semuanya. Hrp2 tu mat salleh dpt sdikit byk ilham, slps baca statement di atas Smiley

saya kena kat TenX.. buat sapu mentega dengan kopek pintu rumah sendiri je la kad dia sekarang..
hampess tul. 2X je dapat withdraw cash. sekali henjut keluar u$10,000 tu kat amsterdam.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Uwezocoin? UWC FIRST east african crypto coin    on: December 10, 2017, 11:17:13 PM
hello fellas, there is a Scrypt coin going by the name Uwezocoin and claims to be a coin from Kenya, East Africa, so far they have a Facebook page and a website which looks shady AF. though, they allow premining and pre-token sale is going on, they haven't announced or given any news on the official launch date.  they have links to their blockchain explorer, links to their open source files etc. on their crappy website which shows on their block explorer that majority (600M coins of 840M) of the premined coins are gona be in developers hands. at the moment, mining it gives out approximately 500UWC every 60 seconds ( pre-sale price of 1 coin - $0.01) which is about 5USD.
Last but not least, they are only accepting their local Kenyan currency and not BTC :S Huh

anyone willing to have a look and shed some light is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance, a dude from Africa.

Lol why did you post this OP?

LMAO. The only purpose is to fill your pockets when you dump your incredible scam coin.

Please, stop all the criticism. Just because the coin says "African" you straight away assume we are broke and scammers when so much money and effort has been put into this project.
What you're doing is racism as well, Don't be that type of guy. If you feel we are a "scam" and it isn't for you, just ignore. We don't force people into investing. Why all the hate/negativity?

Why? Because you make fake stories and try to take People's money. Don't you have any morals you scamming African?

As much as i would like to turn away from Bfljosh sarcasm and what could appear as another of his preemptive + blatant strikes towards many African icos , he did gets his point right on this one. Not even 2 hours after posting in other thread where you wrote that this project is "shady", "crappy website", you started this ANN as promoter who has invested in it with adequate knowledge of the project- which will definitely raise RED FLAG for anyone even if he is a retard like me.

Please clear the air up a bit about where your stand is. Was the 1st 2 post made a promo gimmick? Were you bribed by dev to sleep with the enemy?
Regaining your integrity would be a good recovery move as priority. Then try to differentiate coin and utility token characters because as i read through this ANN you are crossing both borders with claim to replace fiat with UWC (after changing the title to "Token"), and yet UWC didnt highlight its own algo to qualify as currency type. Leave it to the big boys to come up with their POW/POS/POI/dPOW or PORn for that matter...

Now, i am aware of Africa market potential. I know when BTC was trading @ USD 11,400 somewhere in Dec '17, it is sold @ USD 17k++ there in Africa. The poor are being oppressed for others profit. This market is HUGE and ripe for the picking especially when it comes to giving back power to the people sentiment is added as fuel.

My friend kryptolion, do sit back and think about damage control for a while. You began with a few vital mistakes.
If there have been initial investment pumped to get this far for this project, I suggest re-branding is in order. We will not even
remember about this ANN when you come back. Too many ico launched everyday to recall each and everyone of it.

Hello, Plan to move to Malaysia for 6 month, I will receive salary as bitcoin, do you guys know will I be able to withdraw money from local Malaysia exchanges?

salary paid in BTC? Nice. do try this link for quick reference about bitcoin exchange in Malaysia https://www.finder.com/my
and I would also like to take this opportunity to extend my warmest pre-Welcome to you Spike1337.

In your country, virtual money is of no concern to you, especially about the bitcoin, you get the state to allow the virtual currency to be released and circulated.

I really do hope your statement is solely intended to getting more posts in your profile, buddy

I am sorry but I have to disagree with you. In my country or any other place for that matter, virtual currency is everybody's concern. It has been creating new economic wave globally and we in Malaysia are not to be left behind. Recently our politician (minister) mentioned they are not shutting out the technology while central bank has not released its final policy regarding crypto. With public election closing in within next 3 months, we are still in grey area so to speak.

The government like all other government are scurrying to find solution in maintaining fiat as the only legal tender and if all means failed - get your income earned from digital currency taxable. Losing revenue is always no.1 objective for actions done. The AML/KYC or consumer protection reasons, by far this 2 instruments has been the only solid tool used by government around the world to back its policy ruling.

Logical challenge for fiat to compete with crypto is in the supply side.
 - How transparent is the issuance of fiat and what are the release parameters.
 - Can decisions made related to fiat be debatable by the public on equal ground with policy maker.
Beyond this issues, I dont see significant difference between the 2 currencies. So, I hope I have made my point clear where virtual money is our concern too as much as it is to you.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: January 07, 2018, 09:58:41 PM
ICO can be the best way to invest but it's not always the best way to invest because only a few ICOs out there are good enough to invest in and most of them are just shitty projects with shitty team trying to make themselves rich by raising public funds.
If you can determine a shitty coins then you know what are the legitimate ones, you can invest in ICO
to avail on the cheap price and expect that once the project is fully develop it can give you great return, x100 in crypto is not impossible so
don't get tired of looking coins that has a great future potential.

This is true.. one way to train your eye in spotting a good window of opportunity is characters of a shitty coin. Reverse side of it, is worth to be looked at in detail. WP usually is more than 10 pages in wording. It takes time to digest + tons of cross reference to get yourself par with the content.

I read somewhere in another forum recently, and quote "ICO : invest only if you got the balls to do so, don't ask me where to put your money if you are not willing to put it into my wallet".

Saya dah baca tentang TUDORpay ni tapi masih samar2 lagi. berbaloi ke beli token untuk koleksi ye? (kira2 nak beli dalam 10,000 token) haha Grin Grin Grin

koleksi??  Shocked Shocked Cheesy Grin oit! ini ikan paos bro KOZO ni..
Tepok meja, silat pulut tepi paya hiyarhhh.. hahaha...

bila nak ambik risks investing personally saya suka entry point masa token price rendah - selalunya pre-ico.. lepas stage pre-sale ni jarang la masuk kecuali IOTA - NXT masa hari2 5000% ++ tu sebagai contoh. masuk hari ke-5 exit.. tak berani HODL dah..

tak nafi memang ICO ni gamble buta kot, cuma so far risk-reward ratio untuk saya agak baik la. 3-4 investment collapse, hilang duit.. cover balik daripada 1 token je yang successful. ada extra lagi - cikit.
sekarang ada lagi 20 lebih token tak naik2 value lagi.. hari2 tengok wallet pastu baca jampi : ceeeepat la kau masuk exchange...

ok. kawan2 yang baru main ICO : tolong follow macam bro KOZO, STUDY dulu apa nak invest tu sendiri.. jangan dok ikut trend konon ye.. bila terkena, taktau kenapa loss... and golden rule of ico investing for me, always guna duit yang extra - sebab nak kena peram 5-6 bulan kadang2.

nak main btc / eth / major coin sekarang ni - xtau apa robot nak pakai.. takde satu algo (beli @ free) boleh bagi signal movement dia.. tak sempat nak memancing.. breakout atas-bawah..
baik guna suruh robot keje dekat FX.. ada jugak la untung2 sabut kelapa..

Listen - how many people have so many opinions! But if you try to be objective, it is obvious that this is an investment tool of the future available to us today! With the help of ICO, anyone can save a real investment portfolio without having a special education! It's so revolutionary and underrated that you just want to dance! %) I'm 100% sure that ICO is really the best way to invest (for all people). This is wonderful and should be spread as widely as possible. Wink

I agree with you. ICO is meant to be new and alternative funding method for companies / projects to kickoff or expand. The concept becomes popular when crowdfunding program is executable with smart contracts and emergence of many successful projects since.
ICO also meant projects owner does not have to go through hassle and scrutiny by traditional organization such as commercial banks.
ICO also saves startup from the exorbitant interests charged by VC.
ICO allows public to fund projects directly at their convenience. No intermediates like trade broker, agents telling you what to do with your money. And free tax so far (except you know where).

Unfortunately, with the good part about ICO, comes the worst bit as well. Scams.
For me it is easy. Tried my luck in few ICOs. Out of 50+ i have put my money in, 8 of it grew to more than 10,000,000% average now. And i also did 3 bad investments.
So, if you calculate as equal amount of investment to each pot, in my case, gained around 100,000 X initial seed fund -(minus) 3 loss = 99,997 X profit. There are many others who made a gazzillion more than I did. Have to admit feeling like banging my head for missing out on Qvolta or Equi during pre-sale for example.  Wink

Read about the ICO you are interested in is always a good start. Do not listen to what others are saying all the time. Your money is in your hand.
Evaluate the deliverable of the job, is the team your right people to invest in. Good hunting guys.

Hmm, dah baca diorg ponya whitepaper. Rasa2 okay juga konsep mereka tu. Hrp2 team Tudorpay akan buka thread kat BCT nnt, sebab ni baru blh menarik lbh byk org ramai~

kat agreement dia
"I confirmed that I am not the citizen, resident or entity of United States, Mainland China, Malaysia and other countries that forbids ICO, nor purchasing or signing on behalf of United States, Mainland China, Malaysia person."
Kalau malaysia mcm mna nk join pundi2 ni

Betoi cakap bro ni. Agreement PundiX X membenarkan penduduk US, China dan Malaysia join ICO/KYC. Kalo bro benar2 berminat - you blh suruh kawan2 dr Indonesia atau negara lain beli PXS utk you.

Walaupon warga Malaysia X dibenarkan join ICO/KYC, tapi kitorg masih blh join bounty program PundiX  (ni harus berterima kasih kpd Zac)

i see, tapi takut jugak kalau malaysia nk beli dari orang seberang. x apa la, saya tunggu kalu dorg ada jual kat bittrex, yobit, binance etc..
apa2 pun, goodluck Pundix team.

Kalo ade sahabat2 erat yg blh dipercayai tu okaylah, kalo X - lbh baik tunggu dulu diorg list kat crypto exchanges dulu. Makasih bro  Cheesy

Tudorpay : Betul bro.. saya pernah kerja bursa masa practical + 4 tahun lepas tu. IMO konsep + target market dia is in right direction.

PundiX : kena embrace idea of decentralization . kalau tidak kita tertinggal belakang dan dapat tengok je orang di country lain jadi multi billionaire / millionaire invest in ICO. anyway study dulu risiko yang dihadapi, pastu tanya diri sendiri : ada berannnnn ka tada.. susu anak suda beli ka suda lupa..

Pls I want to Know if there is any cryptocurrency that has originated from Africa. Are there any dev currently working on any. Thanks

There's kobocoin, prosperipro both not very good projects.. Then there is humaniq(not originally from Africa but Africa is their focus. Humaniq is probably the only project worth looking at.

I just saw one project that also has an eye for African - Asia market. Especially in the commodity (ie palm oil, cotton, rice, cocoa... ) trading field.
At the moment the project is still in 1st stage of token release, so you can get it at very low price Eur 0.01/token.

Hahah..harap cecah la harga tu...harap jugak BNM tak kacaulah nnt

 Cheesy Cheesy http://www.bnm.gov.my/index.php?ch=en_press&pg=en_press&ac=4575
woohoooo...

a. jangan salah guna blockchain technology ni macam langgar AML/CFT (money laundering/terrorist financing)

Wink

Nasib baik BNM X ban trus crypto currency, kitorg masih blh menjalani aktiviti2 trading (wlaupon kena melaporkn report ke badan berkaitan) Klu kat Indonesia, mmg dah ban trus (rase kesian pulak bg jiran kita ni)

2. setup legal team cepat2 sebelum project terbantut + negara lain follow (project tengah draft macam saya ni mati oooo)

Yalah tu bro. Ramai kawan2 Indonesia kecoh dgn hal ni (hrp2 kejadian ni X kan berlaku di Malaysia)

Oh, bagus juga cadangan2 bro ni. Pojek Pundi X tu mmg kena ade strategi baru ni, kalo mereka benar2 nk berkembang pesat ke serata dunia...

Takpe bro.. Expired je Avatar and signature bounty tu (pundi X bayar lagi ke bro?) tukar kulit baru.. hehe.

Kalo ikut perkembangan terbaru drpd Pundi X team - Signature bounty Pundi X telah extend, rasa2 ia akan tamat pd 21hb Jan 2018. Kpd yg dah join KYC ponya list - mrka dah dpt bonus airdrop jugak~

Betul.. Betul.. PundiX bounty is still ON.. saya tak perasan masa sembang dengan bro aritu. Sori guys.
PundiX ROCKS!!!!! yeahh..

So tak tahu nak beli kat mana dah. Nak tambah pelaburan.

Jom keluar kepompong orang biasa bro.. tak payah dok buat cara lama lagi dah.. face-to-face la, luno la, remitano etc..

Waves wallet ada support credit card purchase, install waves lite je.. cepat pun cepat, fee rendah pulak tu.
TenXPay ada, PundiX, OmiseGo, SpectroCoin tu semua dah jalan pun. Pilih je mana nak beli.
Kalau Shape-Shift atau Changelly pulak siap dia convert lagi ETH-BTC-LTC-DASH-USD-Euro..

-Peace bro-

IMO ye.. nak beli Btc atau altcoin (main currencies) guna credit card : banyak wallet / exchanger boleh support. kena cari sikit la yang mana offer rate yang terendah at point of time. itukan benefit of having multiple exchange all around the world.

tapi nak cashout crypto to fiat, secured (Visa protocol) : TenXPay debit card sebagai contoh.. load dari wallet ke card, cucuk kat ATM keluar cash @ bayar dekat terminal POS.
Bab yang nak murah-murah tapi performance super terrrbaekk - memang takleh nak comment.  Tongue Tongue kang tak pasal2 den kono parang pulak..

Whoaaa.. for this is strange  Shocked. I have done many conversions using both Changelly and Shapeshift - never encountered this before.
As a frequent user, this is either alarming to see or you should try to trace back if you have made any mistakes during the transaction.

During BTC craze I did saw some glitch with Changelly transaction, before they post all currencies are sold out for around 2-3 days. I stayed out and used my waves wallet more.

Alternatively do try this channels to communicate with them if their support page is not up to the speed you wants

Good luck man

So tak tahu nak beli kat mana dah. Nak tambah pelaburan.

Jom keluar kepompong orang biasa bro.. tak payah dok buat cara lama lagi dah.. face-to-face la, luno la, remitano etc..

Waves wallet ada support credit card purchase, install waves lite je.. cepat pun cepat, fee rendah pulak tu.
TenXPay ada, PundiX, OmiseGo, SpectroCoin tu semua dah jalan pun. Pilih je mana nak beli.
Kalau Shape-Shift atau Changelly pulak siap dia convert lagi ETH-BTC-LTC-DASH-USD-Euro..

-Peace bro-

I use platform WavesLiteApp. Are my torents can be stored there?

The token stated is Ethereum ERC20. I dont think it will cross platform to appear in Waves wallet unless i read the intro wrong and MCR is actually a currency with its own algorithm and proof type.
