Domestic Price - $5895*
International Price - $6485*
Warranty – 3 months
Support – During warranty period (3 months)

Part # - ED-BW2TK-LITE
Description: Electronic Download of BittWorks II Toolkit Lite (includes utilities only, no libraries)

*Note the 2 prices (standard procedure for BittWare with all their products) to address domestic (USA) and International (ROW) customers.  This is done to cover costs associated with our channel partners importation, handling, margin etc.

The current pricing on the card is very aggressive and can be viewed as pricing for qty 1-100.  We can offer price reductions on the cards in volume assuming it is the same single end user.  We’ll be glad to provide volume level quotes in these larger quantities for the larger users/farms on a case-by-case basis.

For more information, contact BittWare at: sales@bittware.com

Thanks -

Does it mean that if i call my local french dealer, he will ask me 6486$ (5415 euros without tax ) flat  price without VAT (around 6500 euros with VAT) ? or do i need still to include his margin on it ?

Also 3 months warranty is quite disappointing, even for GPU it's minimum 6 months.
And i guess EU regulations force seller to minimum one year constructor warranty.

When i called your local seller in France yesterday, strong support from Bittware for this professionnal highgrade device was part of the sells arguments.

PS: i promise i wont tell my friends working in HFT that price dropped drastically ! Smiley

It's not a consumer product.  They are not going to hold your hand while you try to load a bitfile from a 3rd party.

Here's where the casual miners get separated from the real nerds.

dudes prolly affiliated in some kind of way and gets % of the sale when you mark him as your referrer.

writing HDL that performs 10x better than a high-end GPU is questionable

but yes, a well done FPGA should perform better than a 1080ti, but not 10x

Why not?  GPU's are using DDR.  DDR sucks.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI on: May 01, 2018, 03:04:57 AM
"ROI is 70-200 days depending on the algorithm."

profitable coins likely to swap algo on regular basis.

Thats why FPGAs make sense.  Changing the algorithm is easy.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A Better Form of Mining - Algebraix on: April 30, 2018, 03:39:45 AM
What problem or benefit are they really providing?  Looks like a big waste of time.  I'll leave my rigs running and go outside and get away from technology thank you.

I admit to some curiosity, so I'll ask a question:
What would a fully-ramped, 13.5TH S9 have been rewarded on this block?

Mine on!!!

Thats all I have, approx 0.0015-0.0016

ETA: I mined here through black february, "gave up" and went to snakepool for a few weeks, then came back.  For sure not leaving again, average over a period of time is higher here.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Download the long awaited ethos, newest version, and mine crypto today! on: April 23, 2018, 04:07:02 PM
He did not violate the GPL, a big part of ethos is the menagerie of shell scripts for updates and starting things, which he does not have to give away.  You should learn to actually read what the GPL says.

Furthermore, ethos phones home, so essentially, you are paying for the ability to remotely watch your machines.

Did you embed a trojan or address switcher in this download?  Looks like a scam to me.
27  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: It is NOT secure to use hardware wallets (and it never was) on: April 20, 2018, 08:37:19 PM

Can't we even use those cheap memory cards in which we can store lots and lots of data with any sort of stuff or just private keys only?
Purchasing ~250 Memory Cards with just 2 GB memory will cost much less compared to what we need to pay for that steel thing. Wink
I believe that all of these 250 memory cards are not going to get corrupted at once (few may get corrupted, but not all of them).
Even 25 memory cards can save our Notepad file and have all our data stored without much hassle which we can easily access offline whenever we want to use our private keys to use our funds. Encryption of private keys and then keeping them safer in these memory cards is the best and cheapest way IMO.

Each generation of nand flash is much worse than the previous generation.

If you take a recent high capacity USB key, write it, and put it in a car on a hot day, most of the data will be damaged and the ECC/codecs in the flash controller will have to work their collective asses off to recover your data.

I would not expect the data to be on cheap memory cards in 2 years.  Read the specs from majior SSD manufacturers on data retention unpowered.

Well...according to a close relative who is actually an IRS person...it's income when you cash it for USD...NOT when you mine it. Same as gold bullion.

I would recommend not taking tax advice from that person.  The IRS has declared that when you receive mining revenue it is treated as ordinary income, at the time you receive it, even if you don't convert it to USD right then.

There are financial reasons, if you are hodling, to pay your taxes now on coin mined now, that will save you a lot of money long term.

But isn't that a meaningless number?  You need to know what the price is when you convert to USD.  You have to do that on one of the exchanges, because Kano doesn't speak USD (nor do we want him to).

Nope, not meaningless.  The moment you get the block in your wallet is your cost basis, taxed as ordinary income.  The difference between long term capital gains and ordinary income can be substantial.

Hi. Payments under blocks 515627,515733,515768,515930,516020 were not paid. I ask you to make payments. My username alena26.
I will be grateful to you. So long.
With respect, alena26.

On your 'rewards' page, do those rewards for those blocks have a red asterisk?  If you were below the dust level they don't get paid out right now.

I am now at KANO with ~250 th/h and so far I dont see any advantage to slushpool.

I get ~0.0079 bitcoin for a block found ~2 days at kano with 250 th/s

I get ~0.0250 bitcoin every day for n blocks with 150 th/s

so what's the point on staying at kano? Or do I just have to wait to get more % share of the network after these "7 days and 10 hours" ?

I mined here for a month, and then left near the end of Feb because I thought the pool was dying, and went to slush.

Once you are fully ramped (7-8 days'ish right now) your will get bigger payouts.  And when you turn your miners off, you will still get payouts for a little while, due to the ramp up/down.

Kano put in his own coin, doubled the pool size, and variance is better.  Stick it out and it will be worth it, I wish I had not left, but am glad I'm back.  Plus the group here is pretty nice.  As a tiny, single machine miner, I still make quite a bit more here.

I'd like to add another 841, but they are pretty expensive compared to an S9 with a $400 coupon.  (If anyone has a coupon cheap, I promise to point everything here!).

It's all the new DragonMint B52 Blake2b miners being "tested". Personally I don't believe this burn-in/testing phase.

I think the coins used to test your products should be returned back to the customers. Or they should test in a separate environment.

It's not fair that we order the items, they "test them" for months, destroy the difficulty and profits, and then hand them over. I feel like should be illegal in some way.

Quit buying their stuff.  The pattern is pretty clear right now.

surprised ppl keep getting more machines online though the profit non existent now for those who have to pay fer electricity assuming the machine life of 2 years.

I pay .14kwh,  and made  near $200usd, at current BTCprice, the last 30 days. Recently went to a buyers consultation for Solar. If all goes smoothly, I'll be hooked up by summer.

Edit: the cost of Solar is .05kwh in my case. And after its paid off, obviously free.

yes some places are definitely cheaper fer electricity but for Americans it must be getting to be a lost cause in most areas. here in Canada its cheep as dirt but still takes a year jst to pay for the s9

Power across the US varies wildly depending on local markets.

I pay $0.06 USD per KWH, ag farm rate.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: FPGA miner for altcoin on: March 20, 2018, 06:15:05 PM
I would consider it, if it was well supported.  Xilinx or Alterra?
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Journey on: March 05, 2018, 07:11:23 PM
Yes I believe in the number you have set. This is also the hypothesis of investors when commenting on the crypto market in 2018. It looks like 2018 is a great year for the crypto market. Not just bitcoin, NEO is extremely good altcoin at the present time. NEO is attracting many investors and attracts many ICO projects in the future. Neo's price will increase by more than $ 300 compared to the current time.

Neo is a terrible coin, built on a broken algorithm with a central implementation.  Its more like ripple than anything.

I had my 4 - 808 and one 2 pac work but now only have 2 - 808 working.

Can't seem to fix the other two, they are stuck in zombie mode.

I might have missed this earlier on in the thread... its possible to run the new pods and some 2Pacs on the same rig?

Yes, they work fine, and have independent frequency settings
37  Economy / Computer hardware / Selling Antminer S9 13.5+ with server PSU, in hand, USA Escrow accepted on: February 25, 2018, 12:47:09 AM
I have an almost new, Antminer S9 from the Jan batch.  It is currently mining at my house but I have to move soon, and won't have 220V power at my new place.

It has a server PSU (Amity Labs AMP1400X1) 220V, with a 220 V 6P twist lock plug.  Please note this high efficiency power supply is 220V ONLY.

100% working, all boards hash great, I can provide currently running stats, screenshots, etc.

$2800 USD or BTC, shipped,   Escrow fine, if buyer pays fees.  Shipping to US only.

ETA - Dropped price

Hello everyone,
what's a good price for the S9 14TH/s today?
Is 3500$ honest?

Thankyou!

Maybe $3500 if it was new with power supply and you really wanted it.

My two units arrived today!  They are very nicely made.
40  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: GekkoScience 2Pac BM1384 Stickminer Official Support Thread on: February 22, 2018, 02:33:36 AM
My R PI cannot seem to run for more that 24 hours without freezing. It's running the https://github.com/vthoang/cgminer miner. Once it crashes, I obviously cannot ssh into it. I just cycle the power on it and restart the miner program. It's kind of annoying.

I find the thermal sink to be warmer than usual. I have tried a fresh install with a nicer SD card, but it didn't help. I also run BFG miner running moonlanders which has never crashed in the weeks I've been running it. Are there other miner programs I could use to run Gekko 2Pacs? Any other ideas to improve the stability would be much appreciated. I have dealt with USB power issues, but I don't think that would cause the RPI to lock up.

Which distribution are you running on your pi, and what kind of power supply are you running the _pi_ with.  I assume you have the 2pacs in a seperate, powered hub (2Pacs NOT plugged into the RPI, but plugged into a hub).
