As of now 1 megaCENT is 0.000036 BTC, and a hundredmillionCENT (where 1 satoshi of that unit is 1 CENT) is 0.0036 BTC, a nice amount. Cent just went to 0.00000002 on crypsty  shes coming back to life, I agree this is good, but I'm a little concerned about what is going to happen tonight when the XPM/LTC market closes on Cryptsy. There are at least a couple TRILLION CENTs tied up in sell orders on the LTC market, I'm afraid this will devastate the XPM market by morning. The day after the collapse of the last wall, I placed a sell order behind nearly a trillion CENT - it was filled completely within 48 hours. This shows that there is still a lot of buy interest in this. Of course, if most of the CENT/LTC people decide to sell at 0.00000001, people may see no more prospects for rise, and buy interest would fall... which would be very bad. |

They should make a coin that decays back to the foundation account or miners if not used. This would solve the problem of coins that ended up in limbo accounts (retreivable) and stimulate trading, spending and the economy The foundation can then use this money to invest in better utilities and marketing or if miners retreive them it will still make sense to mine. PM me for a deal on the rights to this new idea Freicoin would be what you look for. Sorry, no deal for you  Just if you make it don't have it give 80% to the foundation, that's totally excessive and locks in massive inequality between the foundation members and the general populace. I think we need a new unit that is more convenient: 100 million CENT -> some new unit (say MILL, since 100 million CENT is 1 million dollars) because when the currency amounts get too large (when hyperinflation happens) the good thing to do is to redenominate... basically a CENT would serve like a satoshi does in Bitcoin right now
The advantage of this system is that you can read the price in MILL given to 8dp as CENT by removing the decimal point. Plus it would hopefully prevent the price from going below 1 XPM-satoshi for the time being.
Any other ways to make this coin tradable again? There is still quite an interest in this coin, from what I can see on Cryptsy.

No. You wouldn't be able to tell a mined block from a transmitted block in that case.
However it is possible to restrict block mining to a list of people who are able to sign a block with their keys.
