@Relicords Here are the graphics I made for the original site: Homepage Banner: http://imgur.com/Xme9j1CWallets Text: http://imgur.com/p3CAfzqAnd here's one a made for the forum if you'd like to use it: http://imgur.com/VYTCX01Let me know if you need anything else. If you'd like I could give the website a shot too, I could probably do something similar to the layout of the previous site as it was based on wordpress.

You should really add info on how to add nodes to the op under the usage section, people are asking everyday and this coin is probably losing a ton of would be miners who can't be bothered with a coin that doesn't work out of the box.
Check the FAQs. They are literally posted on this same page: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=713538.msg8196634#msg8196634I get that, but page 58 =/= First post and it says nothing about nodes. I myself have it figured out, I'm saying at a glance for new users it's not easy to find. There's a difference between keeping the main post clean and leaving out information needlessly.

I cant sync my wallet, i am stuck on "Downloading headers - 5 days behind - 5789 block"... Maybe there is somewhere in the thread about this problem i have but it is damn to long to read/search and i just hooped onto this coin...
EDIT: 103 active connections, (0 in / 103 out) and still stuck... Not downloading anything after 5789 blocks...
You have outgoing connections so I don't think it could be firewall issues, but maybe check just in case. Few things to try if doesn't come good after a few minutes: make sure you're running latest revision and try running -resync or just delete your data folder (make a backup of it first if you have any coins). You should really add info on how to add nodes to the op under the usage section, people are asking everyday and this coin is probably losing a ton of would be miners who can't be bothered with a coin that doesn't work out of the box.

Where u at VRC. I rly need to stop listening to ppl and think about my trades more knew it was gonna drop again but bought at 1.8-1.9. If this coin still has potential I'd like to see it shoot up to .0006 at least. My main concern is th e quantity of coins . Maybe at this price its not such a big deal but if it were to go over .001 could be a problem....
Sorry don't mean to be a dick...but was that english? Hey man, you weren't the only one who couldn't understand that gibberish. My brain was hurting trying to decode that dude's thought. And who the F uses 1.8-1.9 to describe recent prices... Has any really been far even as decided to use even go want to do lock more like? Yes they have! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

One of the reasons why I mine Bytecoin is that it require less energy to mine this coin than Bitcoin. So, Bytecoin is more ecological coin than BTC. IMO, it's an important advantage in the area when environmental issues have risen to the fore
Agree Well, nowadays Bytecoin is like Bitcoin in 2009 - it's up to date coin which is true anonymous and recently have got more user-friendly interface with gui wallet. Technology evolves over time and now there is CryptoNote Technology with its ring signature and private keys which make transactions even more anonymous. Indeed, BCN became more friendly to new users as gui wallet has appeared. Do you know there is "Cryptonite XCN is the new software for completely anonymous and untraceable transactions" ?? - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=700039Is that wallet legit? Don't see much info about it anywhere else. Edit: Crashes upon opening

My wallet address is: PNynSx7eSaPyPhy9NhVXKy2W4r5wQ9Noek ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Let me know whenever you need help or advice on graphics I'll try my best. Sent you a small tip as well ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) The website is really coming along! I'm not sure why people are so quick to devalue Plankton. The sell pressure is just scaring investors and pushing the price down. Basically getting nothing for their FOOD. Oh well... Thank you kindly! I'm excited for what we'll have in the coming weeks, can't wait to watch this community grow.

Just saw the new site and it looks fantastic, Loving the theme overall ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) May I suggest commissioning the artist of the logo to create a banner? Reusing it there looks off, and the text is redundant. Perhaps something like this? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FeBbmGY6.png&t=663&c=62TqdP32EDarXA) Edit: Here's a copy of the logo with the plankton part removed incase anyone with ideas wanted to attempt their own banner: https://i.imgur.com/dvF5WhS.pngDimensions of the current banner are 1000x249 also. The website is still being worked on but I really like the font and colors that you used. Should we use Plankton or Whale Pod as the header? Want me to whip together one of Whale Pod? I can send you the psd and fonts too if you'd like them! Heck if you want help on the site I've used wordpress in the past and could work on it with you. Edit: Here's a couple I whipped up for WhalePod ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F6CHkHhF.png&t=663&c=G61qA3kiyjKFpA) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F8iKWrZm.png&t=663&c=2LBLIWS4b_uZNQ)

xpost of my reddit post: http://www.reddit.com/r/PlanktonFOOD/comments/2b5cu6/a_focus_on_direction_and_quality_of_design/As FOOD is just picking up speed I'd like to voice a few opinions and ideas: The first being a clearer direction as to what the purpose and use of Plankton actually is.Plankton will be all about the community. It is not intended to be the most technologically advanced crypto, therefore the algorithm does not matter. Plankton traders can expect a host of incentives while day trading. Including free food (literally, not the coin), drinks, trading information and more! A simple community based currency with incentives for trading, but what else? I'm hoping TheWhale can give a bit more explanation as to where his/her vision is going. I think Plankton needs another purpose, perhaps the backing of online food ordering not just limited to fast food like pizzas, but for subscription based things such as cereals, coffee, small snacks (stuff everyone needs and has a monthly budget for) and all of this discounted. Now I realize my suggestion is far off but perhaps a good goal to work towards. I myself am just throwing out my ideas, I have no connections at the present time to any services that I could potentially consult and recruit to the cause. Instead I hope to inspire ideas like this and maybe motivate our small pool of baby whales to see where exactly they can contribute. My next idea ties in with my post on the subreddit look:Honestly I think it's a good start but we should hire someone to create a clean banner. The first thing I look for in new crypto is quality of graphics, they show the development team is making an effort in all aspects, and if I don't like it I don't give it a second look. I was drawn in because of the awesome graphics in the forum thread and the look needs to be consistent. Look at the Dogecoin website, it's lighthearted and fun by design but still professional and clean, we should follow its path. They say don't judge a book by its cover but this happens regardless and in the world of crypto you definitely need looks to set you apart. Take a look at the altcoin announcement forum and you'll see hundreds of coins with promising features but graphics that look like they were thrown together by people with an extremely basic photoshop skill level. The announcement graphics are a great start but we'll need more content and more Plankton based graphics for buttons, banners, and other promotions. Also note: I am a small whale with not much stake in this so the motivation is not for personal gain, rather I see the potential and will share my ideas and opinions as a way of contributing Cheers to the beginning of Plankton!

Out of curiosity, who's working on the website? Have you hired a web designer or are you one yourself and doing the work?
Maybe we could make community funded bounties for professional work if needed.
