yeah it's pretty much the same stupid "web-drama" as iota last month, it should be fine as well
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: December 24, 2017, 03:52:30 PM
U sure the BNB decaying "discount fee" each year isn't relative to each user subscription date ? That kind of "smoothing" would make more sense and it could go on forever that way
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction stuck since 19/12 on: December 24, 2017, 01:28:30 PM
it got first confirmed 1 hour after my post apparently (@block 500831), "only" took 4days 22hours Tongue

5 days and 700 blocks later, still stuck
Merry christmas fees anyway  Tongue
25  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Transaction Fees and Transaction Performance on: December 21, 2017, 01:09:26 PM
fees are especially rocketting these last few days, I take a look every morning at https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ for what it's worth (and it's probably way below accurate in terms of estimated blocks before confirmation), it pretty much increases by +100 sat./b every day for the most common fees used in the past 24h and now the main entry ticket to get confirmed in a few blocks as good old times is 820-830 sat/b, meaning about 30$ @ current BTC rate. and it's STILL growing. Just totally insane (& close to unusable for simple mortals...)
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction stuck... on: December 20, 2017, 05:22:11 PM
mmh, yeah, false alarm on the "disappearance" part, quit/relaunched and it reapperared instantly. first time I see electrum do that, and I'm a bit paranoid when the money is left hanging "in the air"   Grin
I'm still curious to know what kind of delay I should expect. I tried the https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ mentionned elsewhere but it seems quite out of touch with reality this week... I'm in the "201-210" column, so according to them it was a 4-140 blocks range for confirmation. 258 blocks have passed now... Now I see on that graph there's an insane flux of transactions with quite high fees (550-750) this week, I guess we're all downgraded to "3rd class bitcoiners" by those... oh well. better luck tomorrow maybe...

ok I'm lost. the transaction just vanished from my electrum, the "good" news (if I trust the program) is I got back my coins as if I didn't send anything yesterday (?!)

still listed as unconfirmed on blockchain

wtf is going on?
28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Transaction stuck since 19/12 on: December 20, 2017, 03:26:31 PM
Hi
I know, I know, it's probably not very original these days  Cool
so I sent 0.3 BTC yesterday to some exchange and it's still unconfirmed
fees are 0.000455 btc (200 satoshi/b) (as seen both on electrum and blockchain).
It's not the highest sure, but not supposed to be anemic either ?
the "accelerator page" I've seen posted on other similar threads is unusable apparently, too much requests i guess
what delay should I expect with those fees before confirmation ? electrum told me it should be within 25 blocks, it's 250 now...
29  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What's wrong with Coinmama? on: December 18, 2017, 04:22:50 PM
while we're on it, do you still have those insane 10$ minimum fee on credit card ?
