So much for Verge $XVG and their IP address privacy, someone's publishing originating IP addresses for Verge transactions (not just general node IP addresses). Considering that IP address obfuscation is their single privacy claim, looks like they're toast.

Yes - as an easy way of verifying, you can pick a repeated IP (eg. 94.214.249.21) and confirm that many/most of the transactions originating from that IP come from the same wallet. This isn't just random data, and it's not Tor exit nodes.

Already been debunked Jeni, the guy is biased as anything and has shown no proof, its just theory and conjecture. However, let's humour you for a second, let's say that Wraith doesn't currently work fully and needs fixing and may take some days or even weeks to do so, do you really think that would be the end of verge? Crypto investors have to be the most forgiving crowd out there, as soon as they see hints of a green candle its their favourite coin again, once Wraith is fully functional and working on all platforms why would anyone care about what happened in the last 24 hours if they can not only recoup their losses but make even more gains on top of having the cheapest, fastest, most private coin out there? Seriously, people need to stop seeing in black and white and throwing their hands in the air in victory or defeat over every little detail because no one has won or lost yet, investing is a loooooong game and much more is yet to come.

The fact that this is the only coin out there with such a heavy FUD campaign against it, complete with fake accounts and photoshopped pics of messages and tweets proves to me that someone is scared of this coin, which means its onto something big. There's so many other coins out there that are obvious scams and have no chance of returning the profits and promises to their holders yet they don't receive any hate at all, gotta make you think....

Currently there are rumors going around about IP leaks, i can confirm that it's fake; http://xvg.keff.org . It grabs only the transaction ID's and add a random IP adress to it. FUD attempt.

AS a brand new user of this forum, and only joined because of what was being said about Verge in the negative camp.

My impression is that minor problems get sorted out in a long term project.

I've just got on board for the long term, brought some coins and will hold on to them until all the software works as it should. I want a product I can use not just a quick profit from the market.

Too much attention on the market and not enough on having something to use in the real world.

When more and more verge is buring, its value can go up. Verge has way too many coins now imo.

BTW, to Verge developer, I don't think it is a good idea Verge developer always puts up a deadline for his project. He is working alone as far as I know. There are many situations happening which can delay the projects. And facts also show he has missed deadlines at least 3 times.

I think the best way to do is to display the process of the projects, such as how many % of the project have been achieved now. People can calculate themselves when they see the percentage of the project process.

I believe in Verge as well but can you blame people for losing faith in them? I came across dozens of people who lost their Verge coins by depositing them to the online xyz wallet Verge used to recommend on their website. The moment you deposited your coins into it, they got withdrawn automatically to their private wallets... Lost 160K Verge like this as well. They scammed a lot of people like this, and when people started complaining, they removed the entire wallet.

If you can't even trust the wallets that the developers offer... but yes Verge will rise
