21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 30, 2019, 07:47:54 PM
You know this question is unavoidable...

DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?

A lot of people have heard of the benefits achievable with BTC investments and decided to invest.
The recent market setbacks have brewed a very big question in the minds of new investors...

What will be your response to this question?

The people that invested in bitcoin years ago are the ones enjoying their bitcoin profits for their investment. If you want to make decent profits from your bitcoin investment you need to HODL your bitcoins for a couple of years. Bitcoin investment requires patience, and wisdom toward the market.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are we really investing in bitcoin? on: October 30, 2019, 07:37:23 PM
I think investors more often use bitcoin as a place for investment because they think that bitcoin has a very good price movement and has very high demand so investors use it to get lots of profits and the many platforms that can receive payments using bitcoin are also one of the reasons of investors.
Yes, because bitcoin is an asset, an asset where we can make a profit that is also good for long term investment.
It is an asset where we value, not only because it's valuable but also because of its use. It is a type of asset which is worth investing in.

Bitcoin investors realize the bitcoin potential for the future that is why they are investing in bitcoin. If you look at the bitcoin price history you can see the bitcoin price has grown from a few cents to almost $20,000 in less than 10 years. Imagine, how much the bitcoin price would be in the next 10 years. People are investing in bitcoin because they believe in bitcoin.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Real Reason Why Bitcoin Price Shot Up Today on: October 30, 2019, 07:28:26 PM
The real reason why bitcoin price shot up today may have nothing to do with China's president announcement that they may reserve the blockchain and crypto exchange ban. Read this article about the real reason and let me know what you think.

https://www.cryptozink.io/real-reason-why-bitcoin-price-shot-up-today-china-crypto-news/
Quite possible that we're just having a bubble right now. But we'll still see if it would hover around a little below $10k or it would burst back to somewhere $8k. We're all just speculating the reason's why and the news regarding China may also be possible, but more unlikely than the article's author point of view. I still wish it would just go sideways and does not dip back down, we might see another great time for bitcoin.
I don't think the bitcoin price will just skyrocket without any proper reason behind it that is why I believe China's plan to adopt blockchain technology is the major reason behind the recent bitcoin price growth. If not China then what is the major reason behind the recent bitcoin price spike?
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't just an investment, it is the future on: October 30, 2019, 07:22:07 PM
From my last post about Bitcoin investment,  following the valuable contributions of members of the forum,  I learnt that Bitcoin investment is not just something that blossoms in a few days,  rather it takes patience.

That gave rise to my new topic.
Bitcoin isn't just an investment, but it is the future...

Let's all share our thoughts about this, in order to encourage ourselves and build a stronger community of users.

Investing in bitcoin and HODLing for long-term like 4-5 years is the best way to get high return on investment. If you look at the bitcoin price history you make see exponential growth by the bitcoin in the past. The bitcoin is not done yet, imagine you could buy bitcoin and HODL it for another 5-6 years? the bitcoin price is going to be huge, of course.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asia can be the biggest crypto market on: October 29, 2019, 11:41:55 PM
maybe more crypto investors from continental Europe and America. but actually Asia is the biggest market for crypto because it has the most populous countries like China, India and Indonesia. and more importantly, Asia also has fairly stable internet access at the moment, unlike Africa which is still having trouble getting to the internet. many business models that can be applied there, especially in the financial sector such as payment instruments. but why the reality isn't what I imagined. at present crypto is only a notion and there is no real use that can really be applied to crypto except investment.

many think it's all because of the Regulation, but I don't think so. Regulations can be changed and there are currently no regulations that actually prohibit crypto. so this is not the main reason.

then what do you think?

That's true. The bulk of the world's population is focused in Asia. And when the adoption comes, the people here in this continent will be the ones who will cause Bitcoin's actual use rise massively. But the present condition in the continent is not that friendly toward Bitcoin. China is not saying businesses and people can now use Bitcoin as money. India is unfriendly. Indonesia is not so clear as well.

Yes, Asian cryptocurrency investors are the biggest for sure and the majority of people supporting cryptocurrency businesses are also from Asia. If you look at the number of cryptocurrency exchanges from Asia are huge, which includes Binance, Huobi, KuCoin, OKEx, Coinbene, and many five start exchanges. Of course, Asia is the biggest cryptocurrency market in the world.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: October 29, 2019, 11:35:10 PM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.

ICOs are way too risky. it is better to invest your money in bitcoin. Bitcoin is safer than ICOs and you can get some profits easily with no pointing fingers to anyone. Just buy bitcoin and HODL it for some time, a month or two, whenever you get some decent profits you can sell to avoid market corrections.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for 2020? on: October 29, 2019, 11:30:20 PM
Which would be the best and most preferred altcoins to invest in the year 2020?

It was Ethereum and Ripple for the year 2017 and 2018/2019 had been bearish without any particular altcoins to be preferred we have seen almost all the altcoins going through bloodbath except few exchange tokens like BNB but which will be the most profitable altcoins for 2020? Will it Ethereum again or some other altcoins like litecoin or BCH or Ripple?

No doubt Binance coin BNB is going to be super successful next year. BNB is one of the most profitable altcoins this year 2019 also and I think it has a huge chance of growing bigger in the year 2020 because it is backed by the Binance.com, the world's biggest cryptocurrency exchange and all it assets.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoins have a future? on: October 28, 2019, 11:50:01 PM
The market for Altcoins has been bad recently, and many Altcoins have died and lost a lot of money. What kind of Altcoins do you think will die?thanks for sharing

You should beware of altcoins not within the top 20 cryptocurrencies on the CoinMarketCap.
Altcoins that are not within the top 20 cryptocurrencies on the CoinMarketCap are very likely to die at any time.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is Not Ready for Libra on: October 28, 2019, 11:46:46 PM
The reality is the Libra is centralized and whether people like it or not they must do KYC for Libra in one way or the Other. Libra is nothing but another fu**up shitcoin on different levels and the best thing is people get to decide whether to use Libra or not.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin SV vs ETH on: October 23, 2019, 09:39:10 PM
Is investing in Bitcoin SV will be more beneficial as it haven't shown full potential yet or ETH will still be dominating in the time to come and should hold onto it ??
Bitcoin SV is by far better altcoin than Ethereum. If you look at the cryptocurrency market you can see the Bitcoin SV has a better result in terms of price-performance. Some experts even believe that Bitcoin SV is better altcoin than the Bitcoin cash BCH itself. I think we will see the full potential of the Bitcoin SV during the next market bull run.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing in crypto a good idea? on: October 23, 2019, 09:31:41 PM
Hello! I'm a newbie trader, and I want to know if investing in crypto is a good idea. Now it became very easy, for example, you can buy crypto with a bot or your credit card using such services as changelly or shapeshift. However, does easy means good? Should I buy crypto now or it's too late?
It is never too late to buy a cryptocurrency and the best thing about crypto is you can buy anytime. Investing cryptocurrency is a very good idea because cryptocurrency is the most profitable investment for the last 10 years. The people that invested in cryptocurrency 7-8 years ago are now multi-millionaires.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Huobi vs BNB on: October 23, 2019, 09:24:48 PM
Hey guys! What are your predictions on Huobi token. Will it beat BNB? Check the analysis below.

https://coinstelegram.com/2019/03/21/action-has-begun-huobi-and-ht-follows-binance-and-bnb/

Binance coin is by far better altcoin than Huobi token.
I bought Huobi token in March 2018 and I still regret it up to date.
In fact, Binance is bigger cryptocurrency exchange than the Huobi exchange.

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin market dominance rising fast? on: October 22, 2019, 10:09:06 PM
The bitcoin market dominance is rising fast because the majority of people are buying bitcoin from individuals to institutional investors. The cryptocurrency market favors the bitcoin this year more than altcoins that is why the bitcoin price is growing faster than the majority of altcoins.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's acceptance in the World on: October 22, 2019, 10:02:56 PM
For bitcoin to get worldwide acceptance we are going to need global regulations on cryptocurrency to tackle the problem of price volatility. Without proper regulations on cryptocurrency, the bitcoin and altcoins can never get accepted worldwide. Many countries now ban bitcoin due to a lack of proper regulations.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2019, 09:55:33 PM
During the 2017 cryptocurrency market bull run, many people are into cryptocurrency for the money - easy money. Since the market crashed in 2018 there is not to much make in the market. If you look at the cryptocurrency market you can see the majority of coins are altcoins and this year 2019 is going hard on altcoins. In reality, people need huge bull runs in the market and without it, the people will lose interest.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: October 22, 2019, 09:42:43 PM
The crypto is by far better currency when compared to fiat currency. Cryptocurrency is a peer-to-peer digital currency that is fast, very secure, low-cost transactions and yet decentralized. With the global economy going cashless, the cryptocurrency is going to fit very well or even be the next generation of money.
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: October 22, 2019, 09:34:54 PM

pretty normal when you introduce something new, they will oppose it because they don't understand or simply because since its new.

my old  man insist in investing in buying a farm as it will help me survive by planting crops and trees and sell them. when i told him i'd be investing GPUs so i can mine ETH and XMR. he was what and then you are going to sell the land minerals to china?   maybe i just suck at explaining what BTC and these coins are.

Yup no matter how hard you try to explain it some people might never get it as it should be understood wherein there are those who will get it easily.  I had similar challenges while hiring a developer for one of my project wherein some of them consider bitcoin as illegal and they will be arrested if they for for a crypto related project while others are cool and very keen to learn and work for it.
People have different opinions and understandings of technology. Even though I don't see a reason why many people still rejected bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies maybe it is because of the cryptocurrency market volatility or lack of good understanding of the technology or might be both likely.
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No other currency on: October 22, 2019, 09:26:18 PM
What if there is no other crypto currency or alt coin. How does it affect the price of the bitcoin. How high is the value of bitcoin in your opinion.?
Without altcoins, the bitcoin price will be higher than the current price because some people are buying altcoins instead of bitcoin. Some people believe altcoins have a potential in the future so they are buying and HODLing altcoins instead of bitcoin. If to say they are all buying bitcoin instead of altcoins that would help the bitcoin price get to another level.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 22, 2019, 09:05:23 PM
Well, for me I store all my bitcoins and altcoins in online wallets such as Xapo, MyEtherWallet, and Blockchain. No one ever stole my bitcoin or altcoins because I don't play when it comes to securing my private keys. I take my online wallet security very seriously, I use secure passwords and always activate my 2FA authentication.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 22, 2019, 08:57:15 PM
I don't think you made a mistake investing in bitcoin rather investing in the wrong time. The bitcoin market had a bull run from April to July this year where the bitcoin price grew from $3,200+ to almost $14,000 and now the market is going down which makes it not a good time to buy bitcoin.
