I think exchanges are safe as long as you keep your pinkeys carefully. No one can open it even hackers as long as you keep tight guard on the important information of your account. Exchanges are sometimes used as storage for coins. It depends on how you secure your own personal data specially pinkeys. |

I think you shouldn't sell your bitcoin now. Because it is very bad time to sell and price level is very low.
Don't ever think of selling your bitcoin now, unless you really need it badly because you have a very important use of the money. Today is not the right time to sell bitcoin specially if you bought them in a high price like last year 4th quarter where bitcoin is very expensive. Just hold it and wait for the market to go back to normal. |

When the market is red like it was today all I do is hold. Pretend I didn't know what is happening and just do my stuff. I do bounty campaigns and stop trading for now. Bitcoin is very slow transaction and fee is rediculus then why people bother buying it or considering it. I have £130 of bitcoin and I want to move it and it is asking for £28 network fee. Why should people bother having it. I can't wait to get rid of it when the fee is low.
I think bitcoin is not at all useless, to call it that way is unreasonable knowing bitcoin is expensive and the top cryptocurrency. It is definitely not useless and worthless as you portrayed it to be. If it is indeed useless then why investors pour so much investment to bitcoin despite of the transaction fees? |

I would like to create a thread for the Visayan community or those members here who knows how to Bisaya for any discussions that could be comfortable on our side. I know to how do it here in tagalog but i prefer my very own mother tongue language which is the Bisaya.
I know that some of the members here would also love to speak Bisaya for I know that there are members here who are coming from the Visayan region and even in some parts of the Mindanao.
Talking about Mindanao, Davao City is one part of it and Davao is known to be Bisaya especially that our very own President Rodrigo Roa Duterte is also a Bisaya residing on that city.

This year has been a bit challenging for bitcoins as well as Ether to survive. Bitcoins are facing a quite low price now and also i think that most of the investors have taken their money off bitcoins. Here is the graph showing us the price for bitcoins from 2009 to 2017  We all know that bitcoins really pumped a lot in 2017 but from the starting of 2018 bitcoins are low. A lot of FUD was been created and bitcoins really faced a lot of difficulties. Price for bitcoins at the starting of 2018 has been low similar to the year 2017. I really hope that the price for bitcoins can again show us immense growth as it showed in 2017. I am looking forward for a better growth just the way you thought. 2017 is really a very good market of bitcoin being recorded in the cryptocurrency history. 2018 has just laid low and roughly halfway from last years value. Speculations are always positive before this year ends. Some investors continue to buy bitcoins as it dumps taking advantage with the panic selling. |

You are very lucky enough to be able to repay your debt. You took a great risk of borrowing money to invest in cryptocurrency. So many people did this in the past and ended up compounding their existing problems. Cryptocurrency is risky and as such, only the money that you can afford to lose should be invested.
I really don’t get it. His story is not so detailed at all. I believe he made a right decision in selling all his bitcoin to pay his depth. I assume he sell it in a higher value when he buy the bitcoin. But anyway, since now that you are free from depth I hope you will not borrow money again to invest. I guess you should use your own money so that you will not be pressured to pay. In that case you can choose the right value to sell it because crypto is too risky. |

I think this is impossible. Ripple can't replace Bitcoin even if every bank on earth started using Ripple net or XRP. Bitcoin is holding money where as Ripple is trying to resolve the problem of bank transfers worldwide. They both have a different scope and work differently and are doing different things so in my view cannot be compared.
Impossible to happen bitcoin is too far compared to ripple. Bitcoin cannot be displaced by any other coin that easy. Yes ripple now is in the second place next to bitcoin and ethereum was thrown out to third place but it cannot replace bitcoin as the number one most valuable and popular digital currency. |

I hope that your friend wish will come true. Because it's worth to sell a car and buy some bitcoin for investment. And you can get a big profit and it can be use to buy car again but we still have some profit
I think it is not a very wise decision because we cannot predict the future of bitcoin. Maybe it will rise soon but not to be exact as 2019. But his instincts tell him to do so and that he is sure of whT he is doing then go. What if it will really happen then it will be a very worthy. He can buy not just one car oit of his profit. |
