21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - lowest fee - hybrid fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: January 15, 2018, 09:07:37 AM
Dear all
Where can I find a date for Airdrop on Monday ( mean block of BTC chain to calculate)?
Thanks

I'm not sure I understood your question correctly. Roll Eyes

Have you already joined the airdrop or not?

It does not happen in the bitcoin network, but in the bitcore network! You do not need to calculate blocks or anything else. You simply buy at least 1 BTX or more, put them in your BTX wallet - and sign messages for the airdrop (read carefully in OP).

Every Monday in Jan you receive 5% of your deposited amount, in February - 6%, in March - 7%, etc. In between, you can move coins, trade them, but before Monday - be sure to return them to the same address from which you signed the message for registration.
Will each award get added to my principal, and then at the same time participate in the next week's 5% / 6% of the reward? The first week won 100 bonuses, if I do not change the wallet, the next is (2000 +100) * 5%, I understand the right?

Yes, you understand right. Whatever amount in your registered wallet will be credited with respective % on each Monday, including the past airdrops.

Thanks you reply! I want to known exacly time BTC dev calculate coin in BTX chain to creat airdrop!
Because want to trading and sent to my wallet before Monday to get airdrop!
Thank again!

Well, again, BTC chain has nothing to do with BTX chain. I don't think there is any EXACT time - devs just transfer certain amount of BTXs to the airdrop wallet based on some estimates (nr. of registered wallets vs circulating BTXs on chain) and then hit the transfer button.
On webpage you can find that the airdrop is happening each Monday between 00:00-24:00 without exact date.

You can check past airdrops to give you the picture, but you probably don't get the exact formula there: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/address.dws?1AiRDRoPaC9QC4QLWo9w2MYPdAALGaqfFc.htm

So the airdrop 150 000 BTXs are ready to get on the way: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/btx/address.dws?1AiRDRoPaC9QC4QLWo9w2MYPdAALGaqfFc.htm

Let's see how much it will be this time (and how close Ypsi will be: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1883902.msg27727748#msg27727748)

No worries buddy. Thank you so much for any help. I hope today improves. I went with the exclusion and moved on. I am now mining BTX!!!

I am getting an average of 21.37. In your experience, is that reasonable?

GeForce 1080
SPMOD2
Intensity 23
MSI settings:
Power limit 100%
Core Clock: +75
Memory Clock: +500

Sorry had long and bad day today so couldn't come back to you earlier...

Suggestion would be to check your Windows Defender quarantine, restore the file to original folder and do the exclusion so by next scan it won't be quarantined again.
Not sure how to done it in WinDef as I use another AV software, but this way it works and you don't need to turn off WinDef (which I wouldn't recommend).

Great to see you mining:), welcome to the gang and BTX Grin
I got around 16 on 1070 / 13 on 1060 (6GB) / 12 on 1060 (3GB), thus around 21 on 1080 seems reasonable to me.
On 1070 I have power limit to 70%, Core +0 and Memory +577

In your case I would try playing bit more with Clocks (specially memory) to get some extra hashrate, but depends how much risky you'd like to go - if you have only 1 card probably not much.

Enjoy BTX and mining:)!

Fist time trying to mine and followed the tutorials. I grabbed the spmod2 file from the official Facebook group (updated Dec 15th, 2017). Windows defender is throwing a fit about ccminer, stating the trojan win32/Vagger!rfn is contained in the file and immediately quarantines it. I could turn off windows defender but that makes me nervous. I looked into past threads on bitcointalk and I see references that this was fixed.

Suggestions?

Can anyone recommend a good tutorial for beginners to mine BTX? Are people mining it successfully with their GPU or CPU? All the mining threads are really mixed and frankly fairly thought to follow for someone just starting.

Beside the YT tutorial above some notes:
Recommended to use GPU only. Depends what kind of cards do you have, nVidia or AMD. If nVidia go find ccminer SPmod2 (u will get extra hash rate xx%).

Pools (I have tested first two):
https://www.bitcorepool.cc/ (1,5% fee; good and stable one)
http://s.umine.org/ (0,5% fee, good and stable one)
+ some others (suprnova.cc etc.)

I am right now testing http://psychedelic.fi/ - pool has low hash rate so blocks are found not so often, but then you get good reward, plus is as well 0% fee (or actually nowadays -1% Smiley), pool is run by juhakall from Suomi (Finland). Perkele Terve juhakall!

If you need more help write down or drop me PM.

Cards I have tested mining BTX (not much played with OC/UC): GTX 1070, GTX 1060 (both 6GB and 3 GB), GTX 1050 (4GB), GTX 1030, GTX 965M (should get soon 1050 TI for testing). I can give some +/- hashrates on these.

Somewhat good tutorial (even I would do some things differently): http://jkcrypto.com/how-to-mine-bitcore-btx/

So far the prediction is pretty accurate... Ypsi predicted 110 000 BTX airdrop and it was about 110 500. Last time actually it was less then predicted so it's in line... Let's see where we end up:).

But definitely good job by Ypsi

Hi,

started some days ago with GranatGas pool. US2 server was up and running until cca 2 days ago... ASIA one is still runing, so mining there until minimum payout and then will see...
