23  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Update: dying HYIP, admin. claimed 2 try 2 refund our investment on: June 06, 2014, 05:06:21 AM
How much of that was your principal investment? He's trying to refund everyone their principal first, not including interest earned. Too many people are owed money...so only request principal for the moment.

That would take me a long while to figure out as I sent fractional btc on a daily basis for some time........something I guess I will need to have to look at unfortunately, shitty deal.
24  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Update: dying HYIP, admin. claimed 2 try 2 refund our investment on: June 06, 2014, 12:36:57 AM
Just sent my refund request via PM for about 23.5 btc I had locked in my account. The last screenshot I took was from April 23rd, I was able to withdraw close to one btc since that time (until the final meltdown).

25  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.99/GH/s, miners from $2.97/GH/s on: May 21, 2014, 11:09:06 PM
BA, thanks for this update.

However, I hope there will also be improved compensation for the non-technically skilled customers, as we are nearing June!

That being said, is there any possibility to actually mine with only the PCB and chips without much technical knowledge? How are we supposed to communicate with the PCB?

You need to get up close and personal with Morse code, that is the only way you will be able to communicate, that and frickin laser beams!

Seriously everyone needs to chill out, STFU and wait, no more stupid compensation questions, whining, and boo hoo sob stories. You'll only delay things further. The miners will come, these guys ain't jumping ship, its all hands on deck now for the final push. And just in case you wanna playa hate, I got 30k on the line here too, I'm sure BA will make it right, Jesus told me so.

Guys I think he's only selling the box, and not the actual power supply.

What the scam? uh yea I have some PS boxes for sale too...I guess that explains the no description on his ebay ad or here either for that matter.

I've had enough of you ignorant bastards doing nothing but spreading more FUD. It is not constructive at all and you have nothing of substance to offer. If it's a scam, let it be more than just your speculation, offer something the public may not know. How many times has the site gone down and the flood of scam evangelists rush to the forums with doomsday prophecy? I remember countless posts here and there about how it was all over, "you're all screwed", with tremendous confidence of those posters who never returned to apologize. Oh and just so you know - most of us were looking at this as very high risk and could afford to lose what was invested. We are adults (in most cases). Add to the discussion productively, with factual news, as everyone has an opinion. We don't care to hear about the 38 dollars you lost and we all should have known better.

Well said. Way too many newbies on here crying boohoo and spreading FUD over their supposed lost .1 bitcoin. Honestly if you're still living in mommies basement you should be more concerned with other things, like video games or something. Leave bitcoin "investing" to the grown ups. LOLsauce.

I don't understand this. I can't log in....an error has occurred: incorrect login credentials
I have put mine username and password and 2 FA many times, still same error Huh

yesterday I haven't any problems....

You might want to take a look at the discussion backlog...don't be surprised. It's just the BTC-arbs implosion countdown, get ready for the ride!

Ah some people are not so clever, others it seems just like to spread fud. Please try a little common sense next time! If you haven't logged in since the website meltdown previously (if you somehow managed to miss that) then you will need to reset your login credentials using the websites password reset tool. Yes my name is Adam and you can thank me later, please send bitcoin to 14Ym4zN27QFUZjckN4y2wsMmhhJ22xc27P k thx bye. Wink

I tried to pull out most of my coin yesterday, less than 3 hours after my withdrawal request it was cancelled by admin (listed in status history). All original amount is still in account. I believe someone else on this thread mentioned this happened to them once, then they sent in a second request which was successful. Hopefully that will be the case here.

38  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] - 12x Radeon 7950 on: February 20, 2014, 06:39:09 AM
I'd by the lot at 220 each. If any of  them are sapphires I want nothing to do with them 6 months of mining and those fans are almost certainly almost dead. You're lucky if they last 3 months.

Bullshit. I have had Saphire Vaper-x 7950's running for 8 months and the fans are still kickin ass as I type this. I have 12 of them and not a single one has messed up. On the other hand I had a MSI that went to shit.

While results my vary the poster you responded to was correct, the sapphire fans are pretty weak, and failure of any fan is to be expected (especially these) if you look at the build quality of the fans. They are thin flimsy fans with cheap sleeve bearings, certainly not up to the task of 24/7 mining like we use them for. The fact your's are at least spinning also doesn't prove they are in good shape or functioning properly. I have many spinning fans on my sapphires that are on their last legs and in failure mode. Just be prepared when they fail in the worst possible time during a hot spell in the summer.

which card makers to you have good fans , one of my 7970 ghz vapor x fans is starting to go out

The single fan (cage style) mentioned above seem to be good, also single fan powercolor and other similar style single fan solutions seem to work well (although the heatsinks on these particular models are non heatpipe cheapie, but it does the job, they also won't hash as fast as a top tier card like gigabyte or MSI) Gigabyte fans seem to be doing well in all my batches, they would be the perfect card if they didn't explode randomly from time to time, literally. They have a well known weak transistor part that will burn up and they have come pretty close a few times to starting a fire in my rigs, one got so hot (from the burning transistor / circuit board) it melted part of the shroud and fan of the gigabyte card sitting next to it (about 2-3" away), not to mention turning it black from the nasty soot it produced. Perhaps its only certain batches, but I've RMAed a lot with this issue, not all of which were mine. Other than that, they're great though Smiley

sorry you don't like it, either my bitcoin is way underpriced, or your video card is way overpriced, take your pick. BTW I have picked up a handful of 7950's in the past week for less than .3 btc so I guess the joke is on me. lol

What happened last time? Anyways I sent you an via PM.
