Do mean something like these 10 Bitcoin chains?

1. Bitcoin
2. Bitcoin Cash
3. Bitcoin SV
4. Bitcoin Gold
5. Bitcoin Diamond
6. United Bitcoin
7. Bitcoin Super
8. Segwit2x
9. Bitcoin World
10. Bitcoin Faith

No not different chains, like that, but I'm sure you understood that part.

But that's not Bitcoin.

Thanks a lot, it sure is interesting.

First off, I want to say it's not like I'm some Satoshi Nakamoto, this is just a shower thought..

So we all know Bitcoin transactions became very inefficient throughout time, it wasn't always as slow and expensive since it has now become. What I was thinking about, what if instead of 1 single Bitcoin blockchain, there were 10 different chains, each with 2.1M bitcoin, people can choose in which chain they want to have their coins ofcourse, but these would be the 10 Bitcoin chains. This way transactions are not all stressed under one chain and speeds and transactions fees should go back to early bitcoin days. It's almost like with internet connections, people can choose routing channels, which ones are the fastest at the moment.

Same for miners too, they can choose the concurrent most profitable chain of the 10, or whatever number is the most scalable chains.

I could totally be wrong ofcourse, let me know what you guys think.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SIGN] Signature Chain | Blockchain-based document certification on: March 02, 2020, 12:50:09 AM
signature chain just for verification or the docs are also stored on the chain, like IPFS did?

No, nothing gets stored on the blockchain, no one gets to see the content of the files. We work with timestamps and hash ID's.
Each file has its own unique hash ID, when the file gets altered the hash ID changes with it. Combining this with timestamping allows us to certify authenticity of basically anything digital without people actually getting to see the contents of what is being certified.
So,why need a new chain to get hash ID when there were such service based on bitcoin?
http://www.proofofexistence.com

My argument would be because Bitcoin itself is aging. If we ever reach the transaction fees from 2017 again it'll be more expensive than doing centralized certification, in some cases even slower.

Nah thats not an argument. Every single blockchain can be used this way. Even Tittycoin can be used to get proof of authenticity of anything. Lol. Now a scoundrel like u with saggy tits comes up with a solution like this BUT this not a solution, it is merely part of the idea of any blockchain. The one can obtain non-falsifiable proofs by just hashing a digital image of whatever and verifying that with the blockchain. Bang! ur fradulent scheme just got uncovered.

Ofcourse every blockchain can do this. Every blockchain can also do decentralized web hosting. It's not about what a blockchain CAN do. It's about what it IS doing. The partners, the applications, the users the list goes on. It's not simply about the smart contract. It's like saying well this business COULD also do that, they just don't have it worked out in an ease of use way, have 0 users and actually don't even have a dApp for it..

And yes it is a valid argument because doing this on Bitcoin is simply too expensive and slow, that is undeniable.

Signature Chain has been developing non stop for 1.5 years with constant loss of funds instead of profits so if this project were a scam they're doing pretty terrible. The connections with Waves Platform and already existing applications scream of this not being a scam. Please look into the project you're trying to call a scam.

I would love to see a comment from you on my reply.

They just posted another update to their ANN page. The results of the pitch could be absolutely game changing. They want to get listed on Tidex.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1000x potential token on: November 12, 2019, 06:26:36 PM
Tidex token on Waves went 100x+ in the past few months. Perhaps WAVES tokens are the new way to go for profit.

We are near December now and still your coin doesn’t registered in CMC?so what’s the progress now!?care to update us about the 1000x future of SIGN ?

I hope you have not fooled anyone from this forum or from outside because it seems that your thread is misleading and just to lure possible victim from this shitcoin
Impossible to state 1000x token...
I mean if it happens, i hope that coin is sitting tight in my portfilo
I bet on: NEO, XRP, XLM, NWC for the next boom!
Neo, that's shit is dead . Do your research.
Lol it’s still alive but same as dead 😂

Signature Chain is not listed on Coinmarketcap.com but you can find information on Coingecko: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/signaturechain

Is also traded on STEX https://app.stex.com/en/basic-trade/pair/LTC/SIGN/240

Volume is low, but project is not dead and developers are still active.

I think this project is worth observing.

Exactly. Keep an eye on it. It could be huge seeing how insanely small the market cap currently is.
With the amount of progress and development it is really undervalued. A jump to atleast a multi million market cap does not seem hard at all to me which is some really nice gains.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1000x potential token on: November 04, 2019, 11:40:17 AM
I think this is one of the altcoins that can be said as a failed product because if altcoin has a very cheap price like that and does not have a good development then it is definitely altcoin like that has no potential anymore to be expensive, there must be a very development useful to be able to make prices rise.

How can you possibly say there is not good development? Have you even looked at the project?

If you would actually take the effort and go look into the project you can see the immense amount of development and progress that has been made. Not everything in crypto is going to get shoved in your face. If it was that easy there would be no money to make.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SIGN] Signature Chain | Blockchain-based document certification on: October 13, 2019, 05:01:51 PM
Mass Transfers are now available on Mainnet.
Check it out at https://www.sign-web.app

Here is also a video on our youtube showcasing the feature: https://youtu.be/Fzax3wGcG08

The mass transfers feature is such a good feature to have on your app. I haven't seen any platforms have this tbh

Yep, loads of demand but for some reason projects don't make it. For adoption by big bussinesses this is basically a MUST have.

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1000x potential token on: October 06, 2019, 02:57:18 PM
Already too much potential in this coin, 1000x is a solid amount of profit, but if you look at the market, it seems pretty unlikely that a coin would make such a plus, especially at this moment. Maybe on a bull market, but not now.

For sure, it requires the right market.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1000x potential token on: October 05, 2019, 10:07:34 PM
It's only been 4 months since your post that said the signature chain will go up 1000x, but yes you can see in the CMC they say the token is no longer active or has not been traded in the exchange. Cheesy
I think you are too confident to say it without seeing the source first.
most of the tokens will become junk, and I still doubt that altcoin which is popular will touch 1000X in the near future.

4 months is nothing for a project like this. CMC has delisted them because they used bad exchanges to get on CMC (CMC requires 2 exchange listings) and then quickly delisted from those exchanges.  The token is super active. I know what I'm talking about, I'm in this project every day. A 1000x like I mentioned will take years to build up partners and adoption. SIGN is definitely being traded and literally released a huge update on the 30th of september. I think you're the one here who didn't see any sources.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SIGN] Signature Chain | Blockchain-based document certification on: October 03, 2019, 05:56:33 PM
Guys don't use the whitepaper in the OG post, it is the old whitepaper. This is the new one it just came out 4 days ago (30 september) https://www.signature-chain.com/WP_SIGN.pdf
They're going to update the OG post soon.
Good work for a team with new updates can improve service to the signiturechain community, and provide comfort for the users of this project, I will monitor it further, hopefully I am comfortable in the signiturechain project community

For sure, I'm betting on this to get some huge growth when market conditions get back up.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1000x potential token on: October 03, 2019, 05:32:45 PM
To be honest, most of the alternative currencies when advertising their money says the forecast increases a lot of times in the future.  It's difficult for someone new to me to have so much news.  I need things that are clear because the reality of the market is going down and it can be difficult for altcoins to come back.

Well just simply look at project, I'm not lying lol. This project has developed so much and IS still developing so much, 49+ page whitepaper got released 4 days ago along with a new partner, 3 new faces. And it is a $100k marketcap. This is the bear market, projects don't get noticed for what they do. Now is when you load up, and in the bull run you profit. Atleast this is the way I view it.
having a market growth and progress and a good partner will not necessarily experience such a high price increase. You also know the current situation of the crypto-investment market is not so good. only happens to old coins that remain in a trading trend.

I dissagree, just to name an example, Verge (XVG) was dead in trading, 0 volume, every now and then you had days with a few $100 volume, small price movements. I don't believe you can judge a coin simply from it's trading trend. If SIGN were to partner with a world bank that would be a moonshot for sure. A $100k marketcap you have to realize that, it is like nothing. It doesn't take much to go up.

40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SIGN] Signature Chain | Blockchain-based document certification on: October 03, 2019, 12:39:33 PM
Mission
Idea of developing SignatureChain was born by people already experienced on the programming of centralized web applications that certify a big volume of documents. We are aware that a blockchain supersedes older technologies that deal with document certification so we decided to use a decentralized platform to simplify the existing methods on this domain.

Our aim is to leverage blockchain technology to ensure the existence, integrity and authenticity of electronic documents and accelerate the dematerialisation within organizations. SignatureChain will reduce the costs within a company by reducing the papertrail. It will allow to have a better secured communication by passing sensitive information through with risk or leakes and to be able to track real time who has already signed the document, for example in logistics, track where the package is at the moment. There will be no more need for third parties. Signing and verifying will be both conducted in the privacy of your device without the need to upload your document or register your details with a third party. We will replace trust with mathematical proof in this business.

SignatureChain will provide a signing mechanism that creates a hash of a document and then forming a signature from that hash with a private key to finally store the signature on the blockchain. Once such a signature is stored in a blockchain, it can not be changed or deleted and the fact that your signature is in the blockchain gives you a point in time when the operation is done.

SignatureChain will be easily adaptable and forkable according to different needs. We will develop backend/frontend applications and provide integration tools in an agile approach with IT teams of our future partners. More detailed informations are disclosed in our whitepaper:

The name of the project is really interesting. I kept thinking this was a bounty campaign

It's a really good project, no bounty though. In the beginning of the project like a year ago there was a small bounty.
