Googling the string Unable to checkout '028f9409247be6d3d09a157e8eb347a173afc599' in submodule path 'libraries/leveldb' found more relevant results on github than in the forum, in the forum they only seemed to be talking about the bug as it affected a DAC building / playing thing, not how it affects the PTS repo. The github bug reports seem to indicate trhat it is thought to have been fixed in bitshares itself ( https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares/issues/1489 and https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares/issues/1490 ) but there does not seem to be anything about it having been similarly fixed in the bitshares-PTS repo... The fix seems to have been only 27 days ago so maybe who-ever does them is still in the process of running around putting it into all the affected repos or something like that. Too bad as the whole bitshares thing is starting to sound like it might be interesting once it is actually buildable. But since the PTS is kind of the foundation of the whole thing being repelled right at that initial start into the whole thing is kind of discouraging. -MarkM- after this error run (linux): rm libraries/leveldb -fr cd libraries git clone https://github.com/bitcoin/leveldb.git cd .. cmake . make
and you should get the cli

Well its not absolutely necessary to be online 24/7. You will still get your rewards if you remain online for few hours but it will take longer to get your reward. Also you have to do something more than just sitting on your coins to get reward. I mean why even come online for a little time every 20 days, just get your rewards for creating a wallet. Current POS system is dumb, thats why i called it rent seeking as people aren't helping the network but keeping coins just to get free rewards.
I maintain three wallets that I take turns keeping up 24/7 I know there are several other community members that are keeping theirs up 24/7 as well. 24/7 wallet also. Maybe we should ask the community who mints 24/7 ?

Update on Mintcoin on ARM architecture: 3 weeks to download the block chain - stable wallet and no issues Transferred all my mint so I have another 20 days wait to start low power minting. Glad to see the price improve I will be securing the network 24/7 soon. Just waiting the 20 days. Keep it simple - if its not broke don't fix it! Buy a rpi or Cubox and run it 24/7 - 3 amp per day is very cheep to run

Something about this one speaks to me and this may be a hidden gem/goldmine at these prices and difficulty. With enough awareness this could reach (if not surpass) the level of Peercoin. Just look at it for a second... - Shares a lot of the same fundamentals as Peercoin, SHA256d, 1% per stake year, re-target every block, unlimited coin supply.
- Money supply will be almost equal to (or less than) that of Peercoin at block 210k (Peercoin currently has 22.3M money supply)
- Inflation will be nearly 50% less than Peercoin after block 210k (With PoW, Peercoin makes about 80+ coins every 10 minutes, UNIT will make 50 every 10 minutes.
Things should start getting real interesting once the block reward drops to 5 in about 68 days... I'll keep buying the cheap coins that the dummies keep mining and dumping. I can just imagine the regret those fools will have 1 year from now. Oh, and the current money supply of UNIT is still under 6M. I don't know, but it looks like the supply at block 210k may actually be significantly less than the stated 21M. By the way, a little advise to @carboncredit. If you are indeed serious about this, I would suggest posting some type of status update at least once every 2 or 3 days. Doesn't need to be detailed. It's good to keep the thread active. Very good advice 'newbie'

Hello

Still offering bounties for solar sign up or referring a new sign up:
$50 for #1 $30 for #2 $20 for #3+
Chris, Is the bounty still open? If so, I am looking to push it through my commercial blogs and therefore would like to know how to track affiliate processing e.g. do I give new customers a 'sign up' code? Regards, Cranky I'm working on it will let you know the timing soon. Glad to here you are still working no this project yeah carbon is becoming an increasingly hot* space and quality solutions are still quite scarce. It's probably one of those serendipitous-in-hindsight moments of the having just the right 'thing' at just the right time. In it's current embodiment, the complete GreenCoin ecosystem probably is not that exact "thing," but it could be a sort-of-maybe with some rather simple upgrades and modifications, assuming the underlying principle is a good one. The good news is time isn't really against us yet as it doesn't seem to be the right 'time' yet either. Half of us are watching to see if Kardashian's butt grows another size and the other half is listening to a guy who brings snowballs into the Senate. Granted there is a time when an opportunity passes by and it's lost, but we are nowhere near that point yet. IMO, carbon will probably 'peak' in the middle of the next decade. [What I mean by 'carbon' here is the intensity of the human focus on the problem less so than literally the amount in the air, or other scientific quanta] I'm going to continue to work on some things and roll out improvements on the front end - I mean it's not like the half-busted coin is going anywhere (the merged mining is one of it's bigger strengths). My level of aptitude precludes me from working on the coin itself but if some interest takes hold and we raise some financing then we can put professional dev services on the table, and it could at that point just be a matter weeks. At this time we can appropriately assess what the ultimate solution is going to be - i.e., do we fork the current coin with upgrades or go with a premium-octane coin full-reboot (and offer a GRE trade in) as was sort of attempted previously. I am still advocating for trying to get a few more organic sign-ups, hence the previous post advertising bounties. So if anyone knows anyone with solar just have them sign-up. Maybe help them seed the wallet node (probably the trickiest part to GreenCoin still is using the wallet client). But that's really the extent of it, I mean, the solar/web part of it is literally you periodically type in the reading on your meter (and even this is online for most people nowadays anyhow). For this small effort you receive coins - sure there not worth much, but they are yours and you never know what might happen when an ecosystem grows up... So I can do some front end snazziness, and possibly raise financing for a much bigger push if we get to 100 sign-ups or so, but I really really need a few people to reach out and get a few sign-ups, that would really help out in a huge way. (* apologies...) Thank you for the update Chris. Just a thought. Have you considered launching your coin/asset on something like Bitshares? You can issue assets/coins without the need to develop from scratch and value them against BitUSD BitCNY or BitBTC. Blatant plug - yes, but worth a thought

I would like to know how build from github for arm architucture.
I think /libs/native needs compiled specifically for arm.
Could someone point me in the right direction please.

yes, Bter is probably upgrading its wallet, so be patient Yes - probably upgrading the wallet Now getting this on bter: Error:201 wallet does not exist
|
|

No, you don't need balance at your Qora address in order to receive a transaction. I suggest to contact the Bter help desk. Use Poloniex in future to trade Qora instead of Bter. I have withdrawn some Qora about a hour ago. It has been worked for me. Is BTER withdraw working? BTER says Waiting for balance Processing Do I need a balance at my QORA address to withdraw? Opened a ticken on Bter. Will let you know what they say
