Bitcoin blowup: Domestic dispute turns crypto catastrophe with six-hour standoff in central Thailand
Quote
A heated dispute over Bitcoin investment loss led to a domestic violence incident that escalated into a six-hour standoff with the police. The 35 year old husband, Kritsada, shot his wife and barricaded himself in their home in Uthai district, Ayutthaya province, before eventually surrendering to the authorities.

I just found a news story and tried to find more content related to this story, and this is all I know about this story. It makes me imagine stories that I have encountered before in the investment environment, where losses occur and make people lose their original reason for earning money, which is also to bring home and build a better family life. I don't want to discuss the reasons for investment failure here, but from the story associated with bitcoin, it will also continue to happen, but in a different form.

Bitcoin is getting more and more popular, and it is labeled with many different stories. I can see many people blaming Bitcoin as the cause of all the problems, but clearly the main problem is people causing them related to Bitcoin.

The mistake is not in Bitcoin, only individuals who think Bitcoin can provide wealth without having to work, this view is very bad, mistakes in investing definitely exist, especially in Bitcoin, it's not actually a loss, but the value of Bitcoin itself is decreasing, not disappearing, at least for people who invest. Here you have to be more patient and don't make your wife the cause of failure in everything
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: September 21, 2023, 12:11:56 PM
the main altcoin eth and bnb coins ,that I am saving at the moment to accompany me to my next bullrun,
and there are a few new coins such as sui, sei, op. I hope this coin can also provide profits for me in the next bullrun
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk accidentally created a new cryptocurrency. WTF? on: September 21, 2023, 12:04:30 PM

Is all the excitement around the project really a hype? Like chiahype and etc.?

Is it accurate if floki is a coin from elon?
I think Floki is just taking temporary advantage or you could say it's just hype, the human brain continues to run in search of as much profit as possible, we are the only ones who can research whether this makes sense or is it just momentary fomo, especially the current market conditions,
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: September 21, 2023, 11:58:05 AM
Is DOGE Coin's Rise a Sign of the Future of Cryptocurrencies, or a Fleeting Internet Meme Phenomenon?

doge is the best meme coin compared to other meme coins, and I am not afraid to invest in this coin, even though the doge trend is momentary, there is confidence that the doge trend will return
However, regarding the future of crypto, I think Doge will not be the main thing but only as a companion to the top coin
It could be said that the best followers are worthy of other altcoins who are looking for their own identity
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not banned, yet not accepted on: September 18, 2023, 02:38:29 PM

So do you also agree that bitcoin  can be said not be banned despite ban on local banks not getting involved with it?

Each country's rules are different, in my country it does not prohibit banks from trading with local crypto exchanges, but my country prohibits local trading using crypto.
but our government imposes a crypto tax on every trade on the exchange, which is a bit of a burden for those of us who only have a little crypto, sometimes the costs are almost 30% alone from the sales proceeds and sending funds to the local bank
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My passion on bitcoin on: September 18, 2023, 02:29:13 PM

If i have another financial opportunity I will wish to invest more capital in bitcoin because it is a decentralized currency

I think the level of trust is high, but I have a slightly different opinion from you. I will share my investment not entirely in Bitcoin because Bitcoin has an inflexible value, so I will invest in land and property.

As we know, to invest beforehand we have to understand the characteristics and risks that will arise at some point in the future, so each choice is the right choice.
success always for you

28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin according to Satoshi is digital money then why call it investment. on: July 15, 2023, 04:17:15 AM
depending on what people think bitcoin is, according to their needs and intentions to keep bitcoin itself
because with progress and development there are many functions of bitcoin, not only as digital money, but even more as a digital money investment
so it's legal for all to give meaning and purpose why they have bitcoin
the whitepaper is only the main reference for making bitcoin with the fact that everything is developing
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: risk nothing, you're risking more on: July 15, 2023, 04:12:40 AM
since 2018 which is over 5 years when I got information about Bitcoin I have lost lots of opportunity that could have changed my life because I choose to be reluctant from concrete friends advise concerning Bitcoin because, through investment of cyptocurrency many of my pals have been scammed  and the downtrend movement in 2018 also got me discouraged so i concluded that Bitcoin was not worth the risk for me, and
now I have come to regret from the discission i made due to ignorance because over the years it progress has really attracted my attention, so i met a friend who is now i successful investor and he introduced me to this platform

seeing the success, growth and progress of the platform, I want to personally appreciate the members from legendary to newbies like me for keeping this platform running and going

Thank you very much for your supports and consistency

welcome to this forum bro. late words don't exist if you want to live better than before, make mistakes as lessons in life don't make them your dilemma,
it's not too late if you want to invest in bitcoin bullrun it still takes time not for now so prepare your bag to be filled but remember to use real money for investment.  not for saving money that has a purpose / emergency because we also don't know when the bullrun will come it can be in the near future or 1-2 years in the future

passion for you
30  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it Advisable joining Bitcoin signal group? on: July 13, 2023, 11:15:21 PM
I don't think it's recommended, but if you need it why don't you join the community. there are many bitcoin signal community. but I personally look for free ones not paid ones because it's the same we still have to make our own decisions to go into buying or selling the btc that we have
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Former SEC Chair Says Bitcoin ETF Should be Approved on: July 13, 2023, 11:12:08 PM
This individual should not be given any attention as he was opposed to Bitcoin trading when he was a boss. It is important to highlight the significance of the word 'should' in his comment. Furthermore, I suspect this comment may have been influenced by financial considerations towards the previous boss from Blackrock company due to the presented ETF.

right, I even think he has a specific goal by supporting bitcoin at this time which used to be completely against it but now turns to full support for bitcoin to be adopted
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Return Of Terra Luna Classic on: July 10, 2023, 03:14:20 PM
the disappointment still lingers , even with the latest innovations the community will no longer trust it even if they are new members of the terra community itself .
even by pumping/burning coins they won't help the value and confidence to return to terra
well, whatever method they use now, people tend to dismiss this coin as a failed coin. However, there have been quite a lot of losses arising from this project. Moreover, even when people adopt this coin, they may just take advantage of its fast volatility to short profits. I am not sure that there will be investors who will keep the money they have for a long time in this coin if it is actually redeveloped.

I also agree that whatever Terra does is useless because the trust of old and new investors is no longer there, if anything, they just take a little luck to take their capital that was sunk by their previous case.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: July 10, 2023, 02:34:24 PM
gas costs so far there is no solution for the erc20 network I think there is nothing to do but wait for the low shipping costs to make transactions and calculate more profit from selling the coins you own.
Shipping costs make small traders often discouraged and it is better to hold coins until they are worthless than suffer losses because shipping costs are greater than the value of the coins that will be sold later.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 10, 2023, 08:08:18 AM
agriculture is the solution to the current crisis, where all needs go up, and food prices are also very high every day, by farming and raising livestock at least the profits you can get can reduce expenses for daily life first then think about exports with big profit
35  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: July 10, 2023, 08:02:00 AM
everyone has their own views when investing, depending on the comfort they get, it can be said that every investment has different benefits and the fact is that there are still many people who believe in investing in the world of stocks. it's just not like it used to be before there was bitcoin news
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Verified twitter, telegram account is the strong point for a new project? on: July 09, 2023, 03:56:05 PM
the blue tick is not a benchmark for whether a project is good or not because the blue tick on twitter is easy to get by buying it, especially since twitter was bought by elon, everything has to be bought, as if twitter were an elon's money field
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network is under investigation in Vietnam on: July 08, 2023, 01:42:15 AM
it's been a long time since i stopped mining on my smartphone. I even deleted the application, I have known PI for 3 years but until now there has been no clarity on the continuation, and what I really regret is that the followers are too hallucinating to become suddenly rich by just mining and some even buy this token just because of the hype
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to keep your money in bank? on: July 08, 2023, 01:35:36 AM
So far I have said yes if we choose a bank that is trusted and under the auspices of government, like in my country there are banks owned by the government.
basically a bank is a place to store fiat before blockchain existed. so in conclusion everyone has a different point of view between saving money in a bank or in crypto all have their own advantages and disadvantages
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: July 08, 2023, 01:28:02 AM
Hi just new to here. I want to know what are the good altcoins that can be invest and forget until 2026. I'm currently thinking to spend around 600$ for altcoins. Right now I'm holding BNB & ETH only as altcoins. Don't say buy BTC cuz already have nice amount since 2010.

Is it good to invest in HOOk, SUI , ARB or ID altcoins? Since they are new just thought to give a try. Thank you

I don't dare to give you advice however, I personally choose ARB to be the next altcoin to invest in, but I will hold back around 1-2 years or a new ATH target from the start of the ARB list itself. for me the old coin is more promising than the new coin
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: July 08, 2023, 01:27:25 AM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?

I personally will release my coin if it reaches the target that I set, at least I have benefited from buying it at the beginning. the beginning of 2022 as a lesson for me to experience losses until today because I have too high targets for the altcoins that I have and finally zonk
