I want my shares trading as much as the next guy, but a lot of you do not understand the legal ramifications of this shit. If the MSD is still actively investigating ActiveMining, Ken is protecting himself, the company, and us from a lot of trouble by leaving it as-is and letting the lawyers figure it out. This is a brand new industry in a legal gray area, you can't treat it like a blue chip investment, and that's precisely the argument his lawyers are likely making right now.

You all need to wake up to reality and be patient. It's very clearly not a scam. Inconvenient and beyond schedule to the point of almost incompetence, sure, but just chill the fuck out. It will happen when it happens.

So... it's been a month and not much action here. Is this project still alive?

Ken.  Release the financial reports.  You have a responsibility to do this.

Manners cost nothing. How about a hi, please and thankyou next time?

Especially considering besides saying he was going to do it, he really has no obligation to give us anything at all. This is the wild west and we all knew that going in. Be patient and he'll release it when it's time.

I'm trying to place an order with btc but still am getting nowhere.  i used the "call us online" link and never was connected to anyone, tried email and haven't received a response, and tried calling the 855-663-2482 number only to go to a voicemail box.  If anyone from the company is monitoring this I'd like to get an order in, so please respond to my email or voicemail.  thanks.

Quoting for visibility.

Ken, fix the contact info on the website and the cs@virtualminingcorp.com address. You have people wanting to give you money that can't, and pissed off pre-order customers.

I will be fixing that next week.

Make sure to get that order processed for finlof soon, not next week.

Due to our system using MtGox prestashop pluggin, we are not processing BTC at the moment.

You said you were accepting BTC if people contact you. The contact email on the site is not working. You need to take 10 minutes tonight, log into your web host, and fix cs@virtualminingcorp.com, and then get your new hire Kris to do some damage control. This cannot wait until next week. Bad word is already getting out about VMC and it's going to be hard to recover from that.

Please take this seriously.

Wow Ken, amazing. Great work!

It has been a real learning process, I have to give all the credit to my Project Manager.

Ken you are a genuine guy and a humble one too so hats off to you. I only invested in the company after seeing the pics of you standing outside the VMC company offices. To me you looked like a decent down to earth and hard working businessman with experience of life and that is what finally sold me on your project. (That and the fact no scam artist would open themselves up like you did from the start.) We should always invest in people not in companies and their gloss, people bring success to companies and no amount of fancy PR or grand predictions replaces the work of capable hardworking honest staff trying their best.

This market is difficult and it is highly competitive and fast moving, but you are at long last delivering. Enough said. Well done that man!

This. Everyone invested in this is obviously really high-strung because we expected returns way sooner, but I guarantee most of the investors here would never have the balls to jump into this extremely volatile industry with both feet like Ken did. We're now seeing progress and things are moving forward, regardless of if we would have considered it to be the "best" way several months ago.

The trolls (who don't even own shares) will always exist, but the moderators of this thread are doing a great job keeping it all together.

Onward and upward, keep it going Ken!

i was actually considering purchasing one (for testing then resale) since they are "in-stock" so i went through the process, but the only form of payment available now is bank wire (no bitcoin?!?!).  and it said DHL shipping would take 4 days, which from Missouri to Louisiana would be 2 at the most.  so sadly to say i will not be ordering one of these.

Yes, we only have Wire Transfers on our site at the moment as our bitcoin processor before was MtGox.  We can still take bitcoins, but we will process them manual.  Send us a message if you want to order with bitcoins.

I think it's important that this gets highlighted on the site somewhere.

Takes millions of dollard in pre-orders and selling shares and can't set up a plugin or can't hire a webmaster. So fail!

No plugin exists, as I pointed out already.

Money is not the only thing required to book the kind of talent you would need for the returns you're forecasting. Regardless of if you have a DEMF/Paxahau guy on your side, most of the major booking agencies (SPIN, WME, AM Only, etc) will not even return your phone calls if they don't have a pre-existing relationship with you. While a good idea in theory, your post contains a lot of fluff and speculation. It also does not really belong in the securities section.

Yes, I am going to use Coinbase.  I need a prestashop plugin, do they have one?

There doesn't seem to be a plugin available for Prestashop yet, and I can't find any evidence of anyone working on one.

BitPay has one though: https://github.com/bitpay/prestashop-plugin

Just a bit of a sanity check on the 28nm chip.

Just remember it is possible that Ken can buy chips produced by another manufacturer and re-brand them as VMC chips - this is a completely legitimate business practice, and this is also likely to be what's being done.

ActM shareholders are a bi-polar bunch.

This happens in literally every industry in the world, this should be no different. Everyone needs to chill.

could we please hire a graphics designer? I'm sure at this point someone in this thread would volunteer to do it in the interest of our profits.

Last time this almost happened (with hazryder) there were was a mild clusterfuck. Something to do with lawyers and rights, and whatnot (this was months ago so I don't fully remember) but I think graphic design should be a secondary (or even tertiary) concern after chip development and mining/selling

Yes, I agree. Especially if they're selling as well as they are already. Just looks kinda bush league.

Congratulations Ken!  We never doubted you!   Wink   This picture will do me just fine..

If it wasn't for work, I'd be having me a champagne breakfast!!!  Yeee-hah!

This is awesome and great progress. Thanks, Ken.

That being said...call me a whiner, but could we please hire a graphics designer? I'm sure at this point someone in this thread would volunteer to do it in the interest of our profits.

The dividends must be insane for the shares to reach that kind of valuation.

Dividends and Hype. The shares will not be worth that much, but dumb money tends to follow smart money and be irritional when doing so. When this operation succeeds and the selling resistance from shareholders like drawingthesun is dried up the price will be pumped to insane levels by stupid investors, this is when I will be selling. Last year we saw AM share price go to 2-4 BTC +...any fool buying at those prices didn't realize how inflated the company was with a market cap of 2 Million BTC. The same thing is bound to happen to this company when the shock and awe of success kicks in.

edit: I do indeed have information that the public does not, all because of some careful digging by myself Wink

Well, I'm glad that someone else than Zum is positive, he sure can use some help.
Personally, I went from positive to sceptic back in december last year, and I haven't changed my opinion since.

Not all of the optimists feel the need to post here very often. I'm certainly in the same camp as thefunkybits.

Again, more noise.

It doesn't matter what the hell is happening with the company if we don't have our shares. Without share's it's Ken's company, not ours.

I'm pretty sure it's always been Ken's company. This is basically a kickstarter with dividends.

Keeping this ball rolling...

KEN!

No solo-mining please.

Get on Eligius please.

Tell us more specific details about the chips please.

Where are our shares please.

Weekly Update 3/19/2014

Here is the good news for March, we are rolling off the production line ~100 TH/s of mining gear which will be installed in our soon to be leased data-center.  We are expecting to have the 100 TH/s up and running on our BTCGuild account in the next 2 weeks, so everyone will be able to see the new hashing power.  We will then convert to sole mining over the next month.  After the first 100 TH/s is on line we will be increasing our hashing power on a regular basis.  We are expecting the next increase in hashing power to be ~100 TH/s within a month for a total of ~200 TH/s.

39  Other / MultiBit / Re: Watch-Only Address on: March 11, 2014, 05:22:33 AM
I expect that public/ private extended HD keys will be supported in MultiBit HD (perhaps not initially).
This will give this functionality but admittedly not for individual addresses from private keys.

Thanks! Looking forward to it
40  Other / MultiBit / Watch-Only Address on: March 10, 2014, 07:05:29 PM
Is there any chance of watch-only addresses (a la Blockchain.info or Armory) being added to Multibit? Would be great if I could keep track of the value I have in cold storage within the client.

Thanks for the great app
