At least kiss your wife/girl friend/loved one before you start that for goodness sakes!!! as sad as it is - I have nobody - I'll be home alone :-( Maybe you could find a wife sharing program kinda like the masternode sharing. Then when you get tired of her, you sell your shares Edit: gives new meaning to the term "bag holder" lol - nice haha. double-nice! and HAPPY NEW YEAR BY THE WAY!

like Tiny_Prism already said librootcoin is a library for rpc-communication between any application and a root-instance. It allows you to communicate with the wallet. It also the comm-base for bitkey. PS. youplab just released a new android-app for ROOT. It will pushed to the play-store shortly. Link will be posted in the OP. THANK YOU YOUPLAB!

Actually I trust bitsta though I am still confusing why there are so many many delays.
Me too - the working paper he released at the start of all this read like it was written by a capable developer with serious intentions. You don't think of Austrians/Germans as being scammers. I'm still hopeful that he'll pleasantly surprise all of us skeptics and deliver something wonderful by next Thursday, January 1, 2015. Go, bitsa/collegestudent! +1 ROOT in Bittrex:
This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on January 2nd unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.
i see some volume is being generated so a delisting will be avoided.

Huh? Well, ok, I look forward to the release of a completed bitkey by January 1, 2015. Tick, tock.
Sorry, not used to devs around here on bitcointalk actually delivering on overdue promises - it would be nice for a change.
I don't get why you just deleted this one. I again look forward to the release of a completed and functioning bitkey by January 1, 2015.
because the PM is just for you. agree. it s time for a change. I don't get it - why don't you want people to know that you threatened my trust rating, just because I'm justifiably skeptical about promises any bitcointalk dev makes around here? Anyone who isn't skeptical about any promises made on bitcointalk hasnt been paying attention over the past year. One things for sure - a significant ROOT development (positive or negative for coinbuyers) looks like it's around the corner. I assume you wouldn't be deleting my posts if there weren't some significant money opportunity at stake for you - hope it's something positive for both you and for ROOT bagholders and not just you. Looking forward to January 1, 2015. well you re not sceptical. you re clearly marking ROOT as a scam posting that subprojects of ROOT don't exist. you re spreading wrong scam accusations. no worries. it will be positive for all.

@S3MKi: why do you care? gtfo of this thread..
i want to know you are scammer or not. when bitkey will release? 25,26,27... when?it is simple question. Scammers would have left a long time ago, give Bitsta your loyalty. I didn't ask you. I asked bitsta. Bitsta answer to me. I ve said december 2014. is it so difficult to understand?

Srsly, man. Are your mom going to punish you for stealing her money and not rapaying? Tell her to wait until NY.
not sure what you re trying to say with that post. anyway, that guy is just annoying. i already answered his question multiple times. he is not interested in this project or the dev-progress. just read through the thread and check his opinion. I am as objective as possible and always happy to have contructive discussions but won't waste further time with spam/fud & Co.. I would definitely stick to white and probably some grey. And yeah, just maybe you can make few elements orange or some other non-neutral color. Just a few details. But as a whole experience redesigned qt wallets that are black, green, yellow and stuff looks really bad for me.
alright. i ll stick to white/grey/orange. also working on an additional notifier in the toolbar.

hey guys.
first of all merry christmas! i am redesigning the wallet today and wanted to ask if you have any wishes regarding the layout and colour-schemes?? i ve planned to make the wallet darker and add some black and grey notes.
cheers, bitsta

Hi, I was wondering, is a MultiBit created wallet compatible with Bitcoin-QT? What are the dangers of having a "lite" wallet like MultiBit? I'm thinking of getting myself a secure wallet for me to deposit into (a savings wallet) but I would rather it be in MultiBit than Bitcoin-QT. This is because if I plug it in once a year to withdraw (the savings wallet) I don't want to have to download the whole blockchain...
Thanks
Multibit is opensource and only downloads about 1-30 MB depending on the number of transactions you ve done. Multibit isn't more risky than the QT when it's about losing your coins. And reinitializing the blockchain in Multibit, in case of key-import takes also "ages" because the client has to go through the whole chain if no start-point is definied. remember, the biggest risk to lose bitcoins is the person infront of the computer. If you want to use bitcoin as a longterm investment i d recommend you to transfer the coins to a cold wallet and hide the private-key (printed & digital[offline]) at a secure place. If you want to keep them on your computer make sure he s clean. Antivirus, Firewall & Co. will help you minimizing the risk to lose coins. Don't install/run unverified software. Try compiling your own wallets. Don't use download-URL's from forums/advertising and other 3rd party websites. Always be sceptical and check everything multiple times. cheers, bitsta

As a community we need more discussion and comments. Everyone has time to FUD but no time to get a good intelligent discussion going ? hey Collegestudent, thanks for your efforts! i think the real tech-discussion will start once more news and features are released. But you re right, I would be happy to hear the community's feedback, ideas, etc. I have some things to do in RL (uni) today. soo will be here l8 afternoon/evening with some news and also something to release.. Hi Bitsta, Could you explain the difference (Pro's and Con's) of BitKey -VS- Cryptonote? This would be a good discussion and I myself would like to know more about BitKey anon and anon solutions in general. Thanks Hi bangomatic, i ll try to set up a comparison between them. but in fact bitkey is a very fundamental anon-solution using very basic crypto-technologies along with rpc-functions. Imagine it like this: You create some cold storage wallets and put them aside. And some time later, when you need to transfer somebody coins, you send him the cold-wallet instead of a "real" blockchain-transaction. BitKey is like sending somebody a cold-wallet, combined with modern encryption and socket-communication technologies without "using" the blockchain. If you re more interested in the technology, i would be happy to explain it to you more detailed within a tech-discussion. Join #IRC or send me your e-mail please.

Yea i love that moving animation, is it going to be used in the final website as well because it looks pretty cool. Yeah, the animation is pretty cool. It would be also cool to get more contributors from the community building apps and other websites in support of Rootcoin. Also it would really good to have a kick ass video on Youtube. Maybe offer a contest for 10,000+ Root for the best video or something? good idea! i ll get up a contest shortly.
