Hey Ama. Curious to know where you are getting your 0.08 per day benchmark. I've been mining ZCL for a couple days now with 1080TI's and if your benchmark is correct, my results are dreadful. I'm using SMOS with MPH. The last 24 hours payout is 0.197 with 6 miners. That's less than 50% of your benchmark!!!
There are 2 rigs and combined are running around 4800 sol/s. I'm using the dstm-v0.5.8 miner but would be hard-pressed to believe it's 50% less efficient.
Anyone else have any real-world results they can share?
My total hashrate is around 5300 sol/s and daily payouts so far ranges about 0.25-0.3. Also using dstm 0.58 and MPH. Win10. |

A 1000w power supply does not deliver 1000w to your rig. A GOLD rated power supply will deliver 80% of the 'max wall draw' of 1000w in this case, which means 800w to your rig.
It sounds like you were running fine on 4 cards, now you are running 6. You have drastically increased the power draw and your power supply cant keep up.
Wrong. A 1000w power supply DOES (is able to) deliver up to +/-1000w. A 80Plus rated (80% efficiency) will draw 1250w from the wall if it is used at max. A 80Plus Gold will have a higher efficiency thus drawing less from the wall for the same output |

If your living in a rented house, i would HIGHLY advise you to tell you landlord exactly what your are doing with your rig. Besides electrical issues, there's heat issues, Electrical interference issues(that many GPUs can actually cause Cellphone/Wifi issues). There's a ton more little extras than just price and building a mining rig.
Just realized this is the issue why my wireless keyboard+mouse are so unresponsive. I need to use a usb cable extender to move away the dongle from the rig and problem solved. |

I got lucky and snagged 2 1080ti about 2 weeks ago. They still have not shipped  The nvidia site is a luck game, just random refresh and if you are fast you will get one. I think they only stock a few units a day. Less than 10 I would guess Same here, ordered on the 12th Jan. They said 3-4 weeks though so I hope it will be shipped by next week |

What is the MAX intensity for LUX SP-mod#1 ?
I set 24 and it's still ok with my aorus TI's
I continue to increase ?
PS / the more intensity I set, the more my GPU clock oscillates
Increasing intensity doesn't necessarily always increase your hashrate, sometimes a too high intensity may even decrease your hashrate. Gotta find that sweet spot. |

Hey guys, new to mining but have option to grab either 5 1080TI-s or 5 Vega 64-s
1080-s are slightly used (used for gaming on tournament), Vegas are new
I cant take all of them, either GTX or Vega
What would you advice ?
For the same price? The Vegas are way scarcer than 1080Ti nowadays. Even newegg (yes, not the third party sellers) sells for $1300. With that being said.... I think 1080Ti is more flexible in the algorithm choices. As far as I know the Vegas are better only at Cryptonight. |

Have you figured out the weird case where hashrate of a card dropping to about half of it after hours of completely stable running?
The rig has to be restarted in order to restore the appropriate hashrate.

I got the Biostar TB250-BTC for $79. Can confirm it's working with 7 GPUs (6 PCI-E + 1 M.2 adapter).
I'm going to test if the 4-in-1 PCI-E extender also works once I got more GPU

Anybody mining using altminer pool? I keep getting stratum connection interrupted, is everyone also seeing the same thing?
I also get it . just short break. Not sure if it can be said "short break" when it keeps happening every 10 seconds or so for the past few hours  |

For those of you mining LUX using ccminer - what intensity are you using? I left mine on default and it set to 20.
100% +90/+300 gives me about 37MH/s.
Jesus .... I'm at 75 TDP getting 31... fuck that, extra 6 Mh/s isn't worth 25% TDP +25% TDP for +20% hashrate. Depending on your situation, but sometimes it is worth it. |

I don't understand, when I lower voltage, my I/s falls from 168 to 147 and Sol/s falls from 315 to 275, but my Shares per second, for what I receive payment, don't change. Does it mean that difficulty of share also vary and I will get less money or not? Is hashrate more valuable than shares per second?
It can take a while after you make some changes to see it reflected in the pool. In my understanding hashrate is what you're looking for, a same share per sec doesn't mean same payment since difficulty of the submitted share may be lower/higher |

I tried my new 10x ASUS STRIX 1080ti OC cards today with 0.58 and got wonderful 740-760 Sol/s at 80% TDP@temperature 48-53 degrees celsius with each card  Looking forward for 1080ti optimization! In my 1080ti strix is also the one that performs the best. At 100% PL it gives >800. Too bad I only bought one I will look again into performance of GDDR5X GPUs after releasing 0.6.
Any ETA of the 0.6? |
