Does anyone know when the payouts are going to startup again? They said because of high traffic but you would think some would be paid out?

I am running a proxy, i was talking about the number of workers. is it better to have one worker at 50GH or 5 workers at 10GH each?
25  Bitcoin / Pools / Number of blade workers, does it matter? on: December 05, 2013, 11:43:06 AM
I was wondering when running 5 to 10 blades pool mining doesn't it matter or change anything if you where to run each on a separate worker opposed to all on one worker?
26  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: New Version (unoverclockable) ASICMiner Blade Overclock Kit - PRICE LOWERED on: December 05, 2013, 09:33:42 AM
Blade upgrade kits are in stock and shipping. Parts for 20%, 30% and 40% speed increase in one kit, along with cooling components and parts to improve VRM stability. Got about 30 kits available at present.
whats the current price?

I hope you're trolling... Read the FAQ on OP's post.

You must use a wallet that you can send signed messages with, such as the client or blockchain.  Coinbase does not have the ability to send signed messages since they do not send funds from your wallet.  When you send funds from coinbase, it is sent from a coinbase address, not your address.  There is no way to prove who actually sent the funds from coinbase.

In other words, if you sent money w/ coinbase, you just sent an unverifiable payment.  aka, you sent an unmarked clear envelope of money to Canary.  Everyone can see the envelope and its contents, nobody knows who it's from.

Perhaps Canary can work with you on this... but you'll likely have to wait.  Please read the instructions next time.

I read the instructions throughly, I thought that my wallet at block chain and on coin base worked the same even though coin base is an exchange because I had seen a similar situation. Someone just posted how to sign on coinbase so I guess you can did I miss something else other that that?

Guys, you actually can sign a message from a coinbase address.  Just go to Account Settings --> Bitcoin Addresses --> Details (for the address you're interested in) --> "Click to sign a message with this address"

I tested it, it works fine.

For example:  From 1Ns8khLU4SEAyXp8XP53YBuWiHBG5Y9oFW

Message to sign:
This is a dummy message.

Signature:  G6qsJtOSY2X6M7fXlJHxweSKOEmS97+qof9DKF9ammlomU57EToInU5D/S8Jm25ipnnOe8Knko88GJoaVFVbUW0=

Voila'!
Thanks a lot I really appreciate the help for, and when you write it out it looks incredibly easy now! Grin
I sent you a tip

Thank you!
Can anyone help me or point me into right direction on sending a signed message being that I paid through Coinbase? I Understand how to do everything but finding a way to complete shipping steps through coinbase. Or is there a way to do it through a different wallet even though I used coinbase?

thanks

31  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Phoenix Technology SCAM? on: December 03, 2013, 06:34:23 AM
I just got off the phone with the receptionist there and asked to speak to sales or someone that can give us an update and she said they are in a team meeting and asked for my contact info again. I asked about the website and email and this was a different lady cause she didn't know it was down  and seemed pretty confused. I then asked who was the manager or boss and she said Mr. Xiao and thats who i received most of my emails from. I'll call again and see if i can get ahold of anyone and give an update. If anyone else calls leave a post.

I'm not sure whats going on because I've been in contact with them for months now and they have been great and last week just fell off the radar. I've called and spoke with them early last week and received an email but i've been calling pretty consistently and just getting the receptionist and she's been great, the phone goes to voicemail on weekends and nights when its not open( m-f 9am-6pm)other than that they pick up. I'm hoping that this place comes through and its really just technical difficulties but also noting would surprise me. I've been compiling any info i can get on them since i first had looked into it and these are the 2 emails Ive been in contact with along with 3 names if this helps anyone:

34  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] ERUPTER BLADE/S rev2 IN USA PP/BTC REASONABLE $ on: November 29, 2013, 05:42:55 PM
I'm Looking to buy at least one blade but if the price is right I will buy as many as I can afford. 2 weeks ago I bought one for $220 brand new off amazon and loved it so I picked up another, now the prices are insane and it makes no sense to even buy because of ROI. I'm not looking for a hand out and ppl gotta make $$ to but if anyone is looking to get rid of any (new or used but fully functional) fast and easy and not trying to make $1000 on it then PM me. I'm willing to pay $250 and would rather do paypal but bitcoin or ff cash work as well. I'm just looking to stay within the US and stay within my budget. Serious inquiries only please, thank you! Wink
35  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Phoenix Technologies - Another ASIC pre-order scam? on: November 28, 2013, 08:01:13 PM
Even if they aren't a scam, they are about get get sued by the actual phoenix technologies.

http://www.phoenix.com/

Its the same company Phoenix technologies has been doing a sic reasrch for years thats how they ended up making miners. The hong kong facility is just for production, I've called both the US and china offices and the had my father in law Have his investment firm look into it and he called me back the same day and said They are one in the same. Im not trying to sell anyone on this just let you know what i've done to look into it. I've spoke on the phone a half dozen times and have over 30 email in the last 2 months dealing with their sales rep Xaio and the only thing that made me nervous was the extended ship date. Then he told me to wait and see after they come out if I'm having any second thoughts. They will only let you purchase 2-3 products or cloud mining per person and they won't sell to any reseller or do they want their miner on ebay selling for 10 times what its worth, the whole point of what they are doing is to provide a low price with high hash for the regular consumer while benefitting their asic research. As soon as them today or tomorrow I'm paying them for 2 X4 units so I will let everyone know what happens good or bad. Btw they will not give an exact day but i will tell you not that long.
36  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Phoenix Technologies - Another ASIC pre-order scam? on: November 27, 2013, 06:56:58 PM
This site has now been banned from Coinbase. Folks, it is important to know that if you see a likely-scam using coinbase as the payment processor the way to deal with it is to submit a support request detailing the reasons why it appears to be a scam. That's how I got this place and xtrememiners removed.

Well They aren't banned off coinbase and they even have just posted a link supporting coinbases Black friday deal.

38  Other / Beginners & Help / Block erupter blade question on: November 18, 2013, 04:02:38 PM
How many blades can run on residential internet without causing any problems? What size psu do you need for a full 10 blades on a backplane? If I buy a regular psu what 12vdc wires do I use?
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Block erupter backplane & psu on: November 18, 2013, 03:55:45 PM
I'm looking for a block erupter blade backplane and power supply in the USA if possible. And if anyone is getting rid of their blades for A reasonable price of a used one I would be more than interested, I can pay bitcoin, cash, or paypal. I'm in the minneapolis minnesota area so if your close I could drive to you.

Thanks!
