21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO still have huge chance of surviving on: March 30, 2019, 11:59:20 PM
Not  every ICO has the tendency to survive, some will still all out of the way.
Most of the ICOs that survive, have some unique qualities about them.
For instance, the product have to be real and slave the  problem it is designed for.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing kills a coin? on: March 30, 2019, 11:56:43 PM
We just have to prepare our mind whenever we want to invest, that we might come  across the odd sometimes, which is inevitable.
If such happens, you just have to be strong and try to stand on your feet again and then learn from your mistakes.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VANTA a SCAM? Wasted 6 weeks working for Vanta without payment on: March 30, 2019, 11:52:31 PM
I am not in support of a situation where the team of a project, would use bounty hunters in the promotion on their projects and at the same time not paying them their due rewards. That is not a good sign.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use diversification? on: March 29, 2019, 12:39:28 AM
If you want to have a safe investment, then you have to diversify, else you might stand the risk of losing your investment, most especially for those who chose in investing in just one coin. Sometimes, cryptocurrency is just unpredictable, which is why you have to invest in more than one coin, but not in shit coins, except you feel like taking the risk.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Managing Your Altcoin Assets on: March 01, 2019, 03:03:06 AM
I have over a hundred different Altcoins, some I bought in ICO, some from Airdrop and bounty and some I bought from exchanges and selfdrop.

My problem is that I have an issue managing them, whether to sell some and keep some, but I don't even know the ones to sell and the ones to HODL, and they keep turning into shit, a help will be appreciated buddies
If you do not know how to go about managing your assets, I think you should first sell them all, because they might look cumbersome.
Then go back to the drawing board. Choose about 5 coins and research on them. Whichever one you feel has good future prospects, then buy back and hold that.
I believe you will be able to mange few effectively well.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market correction before bull run on: March 01, 2019, 02:54:37 AM
The cryptocurrency market is presently in a correction stage, correcting its prices because of the massive bull run that happened late 2017 and the correction period is always longer than the increase period. Veteran's in the market understand this very well and are focused on buying the bottoms but the newbies are the ones complaining and nagging about the market prices.
The issue most times is not just about people buying the bottom, but that most times, the market is being manipulated.
I can still relate well with the ordeal of newbies, because they are most times the victims of dump.
Whenever some of them invest in a coin, no matter how low it is, they would see it go lower, because whales are dumping on.
So they have nothing to do, but to complain, until they learn the needed lessons as well.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old coins vs new coins on: March 01, 2019, 02:50:30 AM
Very few new altcoins have got their bearing and have clear focus of where they are heading to.
Although, I believe in a coin having a true product before lunching non exchange, but so many projects bringing in new altcoins into the system having been using that as an excuse to cause more delays.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Best Ways To Keep Your Cryptocurrencies Safe In 2019 on: March 01, 2019, 02:47:38 AM
For every cryptocurrency platform I use, I always ensure that there is optimum security, not just by the platform itself, but that I also personally do what I can in my capacity to ensure that my assets are safe. An example of such is putting up 2FA factor in securing whatever it can work with. Also I try as much as possible not to disclose anything private to a third party.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Blockchain and Crypto on: March 01, 2019, 02:42:11 AM
Cryptocurrency and most especially block chain technology is an answered prayer to so many impending and uprising problems in our world today.
We are yet to fully harness this technology, which is why I believe that there is every tendency it gains more adoption as things begin to unfold with time.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment reality on: February 24, 2019, 11:25:13 PM
Cryptocurrency is still a young product, so it is very convenient for speculators, but the time will come and the market will become more confident on its feet!
Even at that time, there will still be a lot of challenges, most especially to those who are yet to get themselves acquainted with how the crypto market works.
We should not expect a perfect market too. The reality is that, there will be gainers and losers, but how much you know now, will be of huge help, when the market improves.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you fall in love with crypto? on: February 24, 2019, 11:19:23 PM
Contrary to what the period of val was expected to be, which is also around the time of the Chinese new year. Some expected that the market would go down trend, but to the surprise of many, it is instead an upward trend and the market is still threading the same path.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest ICO in the history: Dragon on: February 24, 2019, 11:15:11 PM
It does not look like an ICO can raise a fund as huge as that. Although, nothing is impossible, but it is hard to find.
Considering the fact that the market has not yet recovered and  investors are not really buying much of ICOs. Most of them go for the projects they trust, which is why we see so many of them fail.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose bounty? on: February 23, 2019, 04:34:27 PM
Hey guys I have different criterias:
2) Design of the site (if it is too primitive and not unique don’t even pay attention)
I came across the website of an ICO and at the address pane, I wrote unsecured. I was being warned that I am not securely connected. Even without going further to do more research to confirm the authenticity of the project, that by itself shut me off, because it means that any of my data on it will not be secured. Whereas the project was also asking for kyc.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Somebody paid $310,000 in transaction fee to send 0.1eth on: February 23, 2019, 04:20:23 PM
I have never made or had this huge amount and i am trying to think of what the Pierson might be going through at the moment, making such serious mistake.
It might be too big for him to handle.
It is unfortunate that it is not going to a known address, else hr might have had a chance of retrieving.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: February 23, 2019, 04:13:36 PM
Always put safety first, and that makes me learn and research thoroughly before doing something. With the same investment, it helps me limit mistakes. Don't be afraid of mistakes that don't think to be subjective when doing anything
You are right. This is one of the reasons I always try to read about anything i intend doing. I was thought this lesson in a hard way when I lost my fund in the course of using an exchange.
My thought was that, it used to be a normal process, not knowing that some exchanges give instructions that are not applicable on others.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I stop using some exchanges on: February 23, 2019, 04:09:17 PM
There are many exchanges today and unfortunately most of them are not good. They usually want to cut our money. For exampe HitBTC or Yobit. They have too expensive withdraw fees. I had to use yobit lately and they took 0.0012 BTC for my withdraw. When i send BTC from my wallet i usually pay 0.000075 BTC. Also i am having some problems with LA Token and i would recommend you to not work with them. But i also work with Bittrex and i am very happy with them, best exchange for me.
Yobit Exchange fee is ridiculous and support is fail to public satisfaction i face some issues to withdraw my pending asset but i make support ticket but i got respond after 17 days this is really unpair and so that i stopped using this exchange.
Recently, a friend of mine had issue with Yobit when he wanted to withdraw his XRP. This is not the matter of fee this time, it is about getting his withdrawal processed. This is why being selective about exchanges is very important.
Concerning withdrawal on Hitbtc, I always prefer to withdraw in form of ETH, because it is better. If I have the ETH in large quantity and I need BTC, I would get that done on Mercatox, where fee is lower.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Escrow be a guarantee? on: February 23, 2019, 04:02:47 PM
I saw a project and on that project I did not see the team and DEV from the project. however they use Escrow with good positive trust, can it be a determinant that the project will not be scam?
If it is not so clear and you cannot trust them using any form of escrow as stated, it is better you go for another bounty that looks clearer to you.
What is the essence of hiding the team, if there is no hidden agenda.
I  believe in transparency wen it comes to investing in a project or participating in its bounty. I must know  those I am dealing with. Even the escrow in question, you do not know him.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steemit is dead. Is there any better alternative? on: February 21, 2019, 04:30:41 PM
A few months ago Steam it laid off 70% of their employees as the company is struggling to meet their financial goals. We all know its dead. Is there any better alternative? And do you think such alternatives can survive?
Even if they had announced that they have some financial challenges, it is not enough to conclude that it is dead. I still use the platform and I have the coin, which I am holding. Try to make more findings to know if it affects your investments in steem. Had it been it is not yet listed, that would have been a different case, but this coin has been existing for quite some time now. We just need the team to bring up more developments.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tired of waiting? on: February 21, 2019, 04:25:18 PM
Waiting is the best choice if you want to gain more profits which you are investing and if you invest choose the coin that has a lot of potential.
While waiting you can still try to learn or explore other means of earning. Sometimes, you might not be able to wait for that long, for the market to recover , because you do not know when it will. Then you must also be careful of the type of coin you are holding until the recovery date, but a lot of people find it difficult to identity such coins that has the potential to grow.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The FBI wants to help BitConnect investors! Few from BCC have been arrested! on: February 21, 2019, 03:13:15 PM
According to FBI estimates, investors lost a total of between $2.5 and $3.5 billion. The FBI is asking investors to assist in the investigation of the financial pyramid BitConnect.
It was one of the most talked about investment schemes of the recent Bull-market of 2017.  Shocked

By previous reports, one of the main BitConnect promoters – Divyesh Darji, is already behind bars in the city Gujarat. As he was returning from Dubai, the Gujarat Criminal Investigation Department arrested him.  Wink

For the full article and link to the questionnaire please visit: https://bestcoininvestments.com/the-fbi-is-looking-for-investors-who-suffered-from-bitconnect-scam/
If this is really what it is, then it is a good development. I could remember back then during the late 2017 and early 2018, that bitconnect alongside other coins was mostly discussed among investors. This coin was more like a pyramid, but a lot of people did not realise that, because they were new to that form of scheme by scammers. The CEO and his team should be made to pay back all that they have taken.
