What do you say bro!
You need to encript this one: 10151685Ve57YGlcB4963Q57S9JeLm9W7BONsVGDgHx1HeUx6yEuCQT5GLJ50c2BxXsTjumz9bHP
Copy it in the blu box on this site and click "Calculate"
You will see in the same blu box many information.

OK, you win Mr. Bikini.  Indeed I was encrypting the wrong seed.  Good luck with your site.
22  Other / MultiBit / Re: Soooo I have $100 stuck in my wallet on: October 31, 2014, 05:11:42 PM
My advice is always to copy and paste important passwords from a text file and then to encrypt this text file, copy it on a removable device ( external HDD, USB stick, etc. ) and lastly erase it from the HD.

That's exactly what I do: cut and paste never type.  Except I use an encrypted Excel file not a text file.  I once almost got into trouble when Microsoft used to encrypt Excel (over 10 years ago) with a certificate that resided in your hard drive, and then, when I took my Excel file to another PC far away, running the same version of Office, I could not open the file since the root certificate was different.  Luckily I was able to get a trusted friend to decrypt the Excel file on my original machine and send it to me.  Microsoft has since fixed this bug and apparently Excel's encryption is supposedly pretty good now, unlike the way it was over 10 years ago.

First off, where is the "not encrypted server seed for the previous draw" shown?  Where?  Give us an example please?  I posted what I scraped from your site above.  Why don't you roll a dice, and show us, step by step, where the "not encrypted server seed for the previous draw" is?  That's important and I respectfully await your answer.

Second, we talked about provably fair but not about your system.  I just got on your site recently.  So this is new information.

Third, name calling will get you nowhere.  Calling me a troll will not work to answer my questions.  I did not say you are a fraud, a crook, a shyster, a con artist, a front runner of your customers.  Yet.  I am trying to figure out whether your site is provably fair.  So prove it.  Thank you Mr. Bikini.

Ok.

First
Step 1. Open provably fair popup. You will see "Next encrypted server seed (sha256)". Annote it.
Step 2. Good, now roll yor dice.
Step 3. Good, now you can open your last bet details by clicking on BET ID.
Step 4. Do it? Good, now read $serverSeed and try to encrypt it with sha256.
Step 5. You will see the same string you have annoted on the step 1.

Second
Ok no problem, sorry

Third
I think you're a little touchy. Keep calm and roll bikini-dice  Grin

Mr. Bikini,

I followed your instructions and did not get the expected answers.  There's a chance I did it wrong or you explained it wrong, or there's missing information (as may be the case).

First, thanks for pointing out where the client seed is:  it's in the popup window "provably fair" at the top.  But, following your steps, I did not get step 5, but a different string ("Step 5. You will see the same string you have annoted on the step 1.").  See my results for two rolls below.

Also, I question why the popup window only shows client seed and not server seed.  The server seed is what is at issue here.  So something else needs to be shown.

I have to go; I'll check this thread tomorrow.  Thanks for your attention.

Note how the serverSeed is constantly changing while the clientSeed stays the same.

You can try to read our Provably fair page. In special this:

Once you have performed a new roll, the not encrypted server seed for the previous draw will be shown, and this means that the information provided are correct.

We also spoken (you and we) about this provably fair system some page ago in this thread.
So I think you are a troll.

No, no, and no.  What I said before.  I am not accusing you of anything, I'm trying to learn whether your system is fair.  I program, do you?  You are just cutting and pasting something without understanding any of it.

And keep your BTC, I don't want any of it.

26  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wouldn't it be nice... (the LazyWhale algorithm) on: October 31, 2014, 03:50:10 PM
Here's my "algo":  take a ruler, print out the chart of BTC price vs time for 2014, line up one end of the ruler at the high peak of the chart and the other end at today's price, and notice how well the intermediate points fall in between (except for the volatile month of October).

Prediction:  Bitcoin will continue to decay.  The 'resistance' seems to be early 2013 or 2012 prices.  That's < 10% of today's price.

Advice: get out.

You are welcome.

Do you like our halloween girl?
Smiley
https://www.bikinidice.com/

No, and are you serving tricks not treats?  Embarrassed

I played on the bikinidice site with just faucet bitcoins.  I lost a number of times, just betting under 49.5, even bet (i.e., no odds),  in fact, here are my initial string of losses:  L,W,L,L,L,L,W,L,L,L,L,W,W,L   If I was betting real money I'd have lost a lot.

What I think is odd, and maybe dooglas can explain, or somebody that knows how these sites work, is that the server seed kept changing every time (see below) while the client seed stayed the same.  This is the opposite of fair play it seems to me.  If you change the server seed, you can have several server seeds, and pick the one that loses for the customer, and post that one?  Instead, the server seed should stay constant, until the customer requests it change, while the client seeds should also stay constant except for a nouce added each time.

Is this bikindice scheme valid?  That's my question for the board.

Below are some of the rolls that I lost.  Note how the serverSeed is constantly changing while the clientSeed stays the same.

28  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: coins stuck in electrum client on: October 31, 2014, 03:25:56 PM
so, i managed to reimport the addresses containing coins into a new electrum wallet.

however i still have the same problem with them. "not enough funds" when trying to send any amount of coins.

Actually, the workaround I had in mind is to import those addresses into another client (such as bitcoin-qt, multibit, or blockchain.info), and spend the coins from there (even sending them back into a new electrum address should fix it, I guess)
alright! that did work! got my coins!

thanks!

I get the same error in Electrum 1.9.8 with 0.0004 BTC stuck in the wallet.  That's about $0.16 USD and not worth fighting over (I plan to uninstall Electrum).

http://calvinayre.com/online-gaming-directory/gambling-regulators/5-stars/

Calvin Ayre rates the Philippines together with two other jurisdictions as 5 stars. UK is where the JD operator says he came from, and Kahnawake is in Canada (also offers 0% tax rate.)

That's strange...under Regions and Asia, this site only had the Philippines listed.  What about Macao?  I hear it's actually bigger in terms of revenue than Las Vegas.  It deserves at least a rating of some sort.

Bitcoin will die someday, not in the way OP described. He is spreading FUD.

With all your rosy predictions, why should Bitcoin die someday?  How do you know it will die but not in the manner I predict?  My predictions are specific, with reasons given, not vague like your "someday", "somehow" prediction.

It's scary what's happening to BTC.  (un) Happy Halloween!
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am never using Bitpay!Former SEC chair takes advisory roles bitpay and vaurum! on: October 31, 2014, 10:54:33 AM
I am serious.  What we need is the big boys to come and play.  Let's take the Forbe's top 400.  If we can get them to diversify their portfolio's to a measly 3% bitcoin, at current prices that would be infusing over 100 billion USD into the bitcoin system, a system right now that is only worth 4.5 billion.

The point is, right now Bitcoin has maybe a handful of big players pushing it (two of them are twins).  We need a lot more than that.  As much as these people are hated, they are the ones that will ultimately decide if the policies set by the governments of the world are pro-Bitcoin or not.  If the governments join us, it will make life a lot easier to transition.  Legal tax paying businesses (which the majority of the economy) and big investors will be much more likely to join in.

Don't worry, from what I've seen, the big players are thinking exactly what you are thinking.  I just don't know if they can pull it off. I suspect not.  What attracts the masses, and the users, of Bitcoin is the anonymity factor, which is going away fast. If Bitcoin loses anonymity, it becomes just another PayPal IMO.  Maybe a cheaper PayPal, but essentially another PayPal.

Bitcoin has died about 30 times...if the media had the ability to kill it, it would have died a long time ago.

If it bleeds, it leads...I hear you. But when has Bitcoin had such a sustained (about 8 months or so) price decline?  That has to worry the BTC longs.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who here is shorting Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2014, 08:41:44 AM
Why?  More like How?  I understand how shorting works in theory, but  has anybody actually tried to short BTC?  I'm having a hard time buying it, much less shorting it.  Any actual experiences appreciated.  Do the exchanges charge interest while you hold the short for example?

Here are 2 exchanges you can use to short Bitcoin-

https://www.bitfinex.com/
https://icbit.se/

I recommend all bears and Bitcoin haters to short the hell out of bitcoin while the rest of us buy.
Remember, Bitcoin is going to 0  Wink so be very aggressive with your shorts.

Do they allow naked shorts?  I bet not.  Meaning you must put up collateral of some sort, and they will give a margin call if the collateral drops below a certain margin?  Otherwise the exchanges are fools.

38  Other / Politics & Society / How Bitcoin will die on: October 31, 2014, 08:28:49 AM
Here's how Bitcoin becomes extinct, or, like the Coelacanth, becomes very rare.

1) Price continues to drop.  BearWhale comes back and dumps a load, causing fellow whales to dump a load, causing feedback that causes a crash back to the teens

2) Media picks up on 1), says: "BTC dead"

3) Congressmen, like Charles Ellis "Chuck" Schumer, who is a BTC-hater, start zeroing in on more Bitcoin regulation, like Schumer's proposed FinCen stuff.  This might increase if the Republican's lose the Senate in November, or, if bitcoin is linked to the 'war on drugs' it might not matter if the Republicans win or not.

3b) ...FinCen will require each and every Bitcoin user that uses a US-based bitcoin exchange to file paperwork every year if the amount transacted in one year surpasses 10k USD.

4) Due to technical factors like the increasing size of the blockchain, a lot of users will start using online wallets.  This will negate privacy due to 3b)

5) other crypto-coins that have more inflation and more transparency will be seen by corporations as more stable.

5B) Walmart and others adopt "CircleC": https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/apple-pay-rejected-by-walmart-and-best-buy/   and they specifically reject Bitcoin

6) another major Silk Road bust occurs.  Already Silk-road substitutes are in greater demand and in greater numbers that before (source: http://www.coindesk.com/silk-road-one-year/  ).  This scares Joe and Sally Average into dumping their bitcoin, especially when Schumer attacks bitcoin holders as promoting drug use.  Drug lords switch to DarkCoin or some other cryptocurrency and this snowballs amongst actual users of Bitcoin (as opposed to the buy and hold speculators).

7) A hard fork or some technical glitch (like https://bitcoin.org/en/alert/2013-03-11-chain-fork) knocks out bitcoin, further causing big corporations to distrust it

Anything else?  I'm sure I forgot something...list your FUD and bugaboos here!

You were one of the biggest crypto gambling websites in history.. how come you closed? WTF - I have read the note about Regulations etc. but c'mon guys, you could do it anyways..

It's not "guys". It's just "guy". One guy that quit while he was ahead, which is the only action in this game with +EV outcome on a long enough time scale.

It was him and his wife.  Don't leave out his wife.  If I know women (and I have a girlfriend) it's that they are very supportive but also very concerned about money.  I bet dooglas' wife is pushing him to open another site.  Dooglas is being his cautious self.  I did send him an unsolicited PM on which country to be careful in.  I bet Dooglas does not quit while he's ahead, and we'll be seeing him in Act II sometime in the future.  Whether that bodes well for him or not we'll see! I hope it does...
