Also it's now on coinwarz.com

Off-topic, why does your post count never increment? It's always 14?

please show me not well know long time mine...just a fresh doge mine with SSL Smiley

Either I'm really tired or I'm just not getting what you are saying. I think you are trying to say you have ssl on your fast-pool now, but it's from a cert authority that chrome at least doesn't recognize. I applaud the effort though ;o)

.. fast-pool...

Could you please implement SSL (e.g. form CA Cert, it's free) and I will gladly switch to your pool. But i wont sent my login data over the clear with all the Surveillance crap going on. Much thanks.

+1
I won't be mining there no offense have my own, but I think any pool that requires logins should have ssl.

and what mine have that? no offence but u are advertising your p2pool in siggy so..........heh

maybe try

http://fast-pool.com:9555

Get off my richard and post your pool crap in your own pool thread bejesus.

No I was simply saying that I wouldn't use a pool that didn't offer ssl auth for logins. Fricking stupid for a pool that's handling thousands of dollars worth of any coin to use simple http.

WOW I wasnt around in the early days of BTC but Ive never seen this many advertisements for mining pools for any other coin.  Peeps really want the DOGE!!

lol, its a struggle to get the critical mass necessary to have a pool that finds blocks quickly.  So yeah, sucks, but lots of shameless plugs to try to get there for smaller pools.  Not really sure why the big pools bother advertising, since they *already* have basically all the miners, but I guess its a mindshare things.

I think everyone should go to a p2pool. Any one of them. You get transaction fees and usually lower fees than traditional pools ;o)

are we rich yet?

Thanks to BTC, China, hackers, and stupid people we are not.

Price was at or above 70 satoshi/doge sometimes pushing above 100.

Then hackers stole and sold 54 million in DOGE below market value which dropped everything by quite a bit.

China can't use BTC anymore and so BTC is dropping as the Chinese sell off their currency.

This caused an overall market drop for all cryptocurrency.

So now DOGE is at about half of what it was yesterday.

Thankfully though the price stabilized and will likely grow from here.

Though thanks to the damage done to BTC, it may take DOGE a bit of time to pull out of it's slump.

All of this happened at a bad time in DOGE's life.

Until you can show volume proof that the 54 million was sold into the market, qualify it with IMO.  There is no proof or probably capabilities with the limited outlets for the coin to dump that much in 24 hours without being noticed by everyone.  This is just a correction in the market.  The price took a 50% haircut which is a nice Fibonacci Retrace point and is now slowly recovering--key word being slowly.  Also, looking at the short few days charts for DOGE, the Elliot Wave played out almost to a textbook rise and fall.

There is no proof it was given back either. The person that said he was giving it back was a scammer. He basically said he bought the 54 million and was going to give it back to the community. He was accepting DOGE in exchange for x3 DOGE in return. Only thing is...no one received DOGE in return. Standard Ponzi scheme.

Here's the page where the money was 'found' https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=365902.msg3983966#msg3983966

just as an fyi about the China information...(I believe its new information from the last one).

was the reason for the drop in all crypto's today Smiley .

My apologies HaxFactory you may have gotten 1 of them right ;o)

I guess we'll see when/if the central bank confirms.

Don't spread fud you don't understand. That's what drives prices down. Debbie downer panic sales...

Where did you see that they sold the 54 million? The thread addressing this states that the loot was sent back to the pools public donation address and miners got their payouts. White hat hacker just taught the pool owner what security is about. Well that or what no one else seems to say that possibly the owner took it and chickened out so sent it to his donation address to avoid an angry mob of techies.

China can use BTC. The central bank just can't use it/redeem it for fiat or collateral. Unless there's been more recent news but that was the news that came out like a week or two ago. It's basically is the same as the US/EU as no banks are giving you fiat directly for BTC.

please suggest stable pool
Non existent

As far as I'm aware all of the p2pool nodes have been stable.
I personally kept seeing disconnections over and over.

Just ping all of them listed on the first page and try the one that has the lowest ping times for you. Unless you don't care too. Either way.

I just created the account (mc1225) and setting up the miner, you site kicked me out and saying no new registration. Interesting ...

New registrations are locked because pool hashrate was getting over 51% which is not supposed to be good.
Just change your port to 4094 if you already have a existing account there, else try any else stable pool
Smiley

Then if hash is nearing 51% don't send people there.  There's plenty of other pools out there that pay about what netpool does.  I'm mining p2pool for over a day because the payout IS higher than regular pools.  You don't want DOGE to die, but yet your posts will break it.  WTF?
I'm not sending any new miners there, since new users cannot register anyway, it's just to return the existing miners whose computers are running and their miner stopped working because of a port going bad.

People from other alt coins started created panic here and on 4chan and reddit, saying shit about the coin that it is going to die, so just to raise back those dropping total GH/s graph and  shut their mouth, that's it.

I HATE rusty ports. They always seem to go bad...  Roll Eyes

I am using stratum+tcp://lot.no-ip.biz:3333 with good results!

P2Pool?

I had p2pool configured correctly with new networks.py and bitcoin/networks.py. It connected to lottocoind but hung after connecting. I really don't recall what error I was getting and it was late last night. Also I don't know p2pool well enough to troubleshoot it.

If anyone wants my *.py files pm me maybe I fatfingered something that you'll catch right away.

I'm sure smarter people than me are working on it though and if they haven't released one yet...
