21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are they afraid of bitcoin? on: February 28, 2018, 11:46:04 PM
A redistribution of wealth and power, that's why they are afraid.

For every dollar that is put into Bitcoin and Alts, the banks miss out on $100. They answer to share holders and need to justify there existence and remuneration, crypto threatens that. Politician would have to be way more accountable as everything becomes transparent on the Blockchain and it is recorded for everyone to see, FOR EVER !!

No more smoke and mirrors, just facts.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin As a subject in school on: February 28, 2018, 12:05:20 PM
I don't believe any school would put bitcoin trading on the curriculum , but l think that the block chain is a different story. The opportunity for the kids that learn about it and how to program it now, is huge. It is a new industry, that is only in it's infancy.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🔥How to get New Bitcoin Hard Fork which is coming soon? on: February 27, 2018, 10:01:02 AM
Almost a cliche, Bitcoin is forking. I am not sure of the exact number but there seems to be  a new fork mention every few weeks. Has anyone really improved on it?
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has the Bitcoin Price Bottomed? on: February 26, 2018, 12:02:59 AM
Is $9350 the bottom and the start of the next wave up?  It was a strong retracement level, if it break we could be looking at $8800 as the next one.
I am hopeful of it holding, just wondering what others were thinking?
I'm pretty sure we will see a $6k or close to $7k price level one more time before it goes steady up to $16k
but you can "somewhat" take the advantage (and risk) of current downtrend price
by doing tweaked DCA, buying at $9k (10%), at $8k (20%), at $7k (30%), and $6k (40%) if you believe $6k will be the bottom level
the % is the % of total fund you are willing to put into bitcoin  Tongue  do it at your own risk and discretion

Look l would be just as happy to see it hit that 6000 again and double bottom off it. Only time will tell, so much FUD out there it is hard to know what to believe, but l am with you on the DCA.

26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could hit $50,000 by end of 2018? on: February 22, 2018, 11:38:47 AM
I am sure we are all wishing for a $50,000 value by the end of the year. Is it possible? Sure if we do another year like 2017, which was 20X. Is it likely? l don't think so. Fundamentally what would make it worth 50K per coin? Only supply and demand, more people want it and less people will sell it.
27  Economy / Speculation / Re: time to buy bitcoin on: February 21, 2018, 03:43:33 AM
I realise this is an older post, so the numbers may be different. At the current price you would be better off in waiting, it has just hit a strong resistance at 11750, having hit it at the top and half way down, so this is the third time. Better to wait and see unless it breaks that trend line, then all bets are off.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH v NEO on: February 20, 2018, 08:51:18 AM
I think Ethereum will still be the best. Although Neo is a good altcoin and is trusted by many people, Etherum still outperforms the number of daily transactions. This shows that Etherum is much better than Neo.
I think you should compare ETH vs BTC is better. It's a question that makes a lot of people confused and really makes people fascinated. Although the ETH cost is 10 times more expensive than BTC, most of the altcoin used in ICO projects is ETH.

Of course it does when you have the volume of ICO's on it,  ETH can handle 15 transactions per second compared to NEO's 1000/ps. Neo is planning to scale to 100,000 per second on chain and then has the likes of Trinity to increase that to millions with the use of off chain solutions. ETH wants to move to POS and has the promise of it's own version of sharding, but this is yet to happen. personally l am favoring NEO long term, they have partnered with some very good projects which will make there platform even better and will create more uses main stream.

Not sure how you can compare BTC and ETH when they are totally different platforms.
29  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you trust chart analysts? on: February 19, 2018, 04:59:39 AM
I guess it depends on who is doing it and how well they know there stuff. Lots of people out there that have no idea and people blindly follow them. Prices repeat themselves so do patterns and because there is so many traders that believe in it, it becomes a self for filly prophecy . You only need to look at Fibonacci levels and look at how many times a trend reacts at the 61.8% price. Whether you believe in it or not, you have to acknowledge it does get it right at least 50% of the time. If you then use good money management practices, you can make money off that.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash is King on: February 17, 2018, 03:58:53 AM
Personally l think BCASH has many merits.  If any one has sent  coins recently you will know the fee's are tiny, cheaper then LTC, ETH and way lower then Bitcoin. Cost me 1 cent to send a few coins recently. At this point in time the confirmation time is still about the same as BTC, for 6 confirmation, compared to Bitcoins 2.

I am amazed that people trash it so much, l guess they are the Bitcoin Maxxies...The same people who think that bitcoin will take over the world when lightning network rides in on it's white horse!! If you believe them all Altcoins will be obsolete when this happens, so we will loose 1541 coins.

Don't get me wrong, l do like Bitcoin, l just don't think it is the answer to everything. And as it stands today it really doesn't have any real world uses except as a derivative and possible store of wealth, but even that is questionable based on how the price has fluctuated in the last 3 months.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KFC Canada Is Accepting Bitcoin for Fried Chicken on: February 16, 2018, 06:30:24 AM
That now becomes an expensive 5 wing pack when you factor in the BTC fee's. Spend $10 and then have another $5 in fees. Would be better if they accepted BCASH about 1 cent in fees.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lighting Network is a BANK'S TRAP? on: February 15, 2018, 09:42:41 AM
Lightning Network is going to have major problems, you cant receive payment unless you are online and your wallet is open. Each jump has to have sufficient funds to allow the payment to pass through, this will lead to a lot of blockages.

Lots of very smart people have come out and said it won't work - Dan Larimer, The guys from OpenBazaar have stated they will not be using it on there platform, as it is a security risk and a nightmare for any seller trying to receive payment for there goods and services.

Only way it can work effectively is if you have hubs that process the payments through them and this is most likely going to be the banking institutions.

Just my opinion!
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO or Airdrop? on: February 14, 2018, 06:20:02 AM
I do believe that both serve a purpose.  Good ICO's are so hard to get hold of in any quantity. I tried to subscribe to Civic when they launched there ICO and even though they had structured it in such away to make it fairer, it was still a difficult task. I realise some of the more famous bloggers have gotten very rich from pushing the ICO's, but there is usually no disclosure to what they were receiving to push it.

Airdrops can be very beneficial as well and there are some  coins with great future prospects now doing it, such as Deep Onion, Ontology, Shipchain.

Always happy to get them for free.

34  Economy / Speculation / Will Bitcoin fall below $5000? on: February 12, 2018, 12:20:12 AM
I do believe that 5000 is a good possibility before we start our next run up.

Elliot wave has hit the 5 wave at $9000 a couple of days ago and now a retracement is likely to happen all the way down to just under 5000.
There will be some bounces on the way down, like yesterdays 700 dollar one, but the direct from here is down. Makes a really good buying op
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Congratulation all we touched the bottom on: February 09, 2018, 09:07:52 AM
Good news for all of investors. The best time for buying. if you bought bitcoin at $19800 don't sell and buy again the same amount. So you can sell the half of your BTC at $11000-$13000 the next month.

Man there are many wrong things in your post.

1. You said we touch the bottom: No one knows that for sure, we can make an educated  guess with T.A,according to my analysis we will hit 4900, but again that is something nobody can just assure.

2. $11000-$13000 the next month: Its basically the same, where in the world you got this number from?, if thats from T.A you shouldn't assume that a fact. next month it can be 50k it can be 2k.

3. now the trading advice, IF next month Bitcoin is in a bull market between 11k and 13k, why would you sell?

Agreed,  TA has it in a 5th wave with a retracement off the 9000 mark, from there we will possibly retest 6000 and could fall to just below 5000. Personally l think we would need some sort of consolidation period before we start testing 11K and above numbers.
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: a word for all worried people.... on: February 08, 2018, 10:45:36 PM
It is often difficult to look past all the FUD in times of massive price changes. The other day my wife sent me a video by Jordan Belfort ( Wolf of Wall Street)
He was absolutely trashing Crypto, telling everyone to sell as it was going down to zero. He mentioned that the Governments would never let it grow any further as they would regulate it and control it and he would never buy Bitcoin.

And l am sure that he may never Buy Bitcoin, but l will guarantee you that he would short it using future contracts. All of them have a motive behind there statements and it is not for your benefit, but theirs!
37  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy now or wait for even lower price? on: February 08, 2018, 06:35:01 AM
Personally l would wait to see that the trend has changed, you don't need to pick the bottom or top, just be trading in the right direction. At present there is nothing to say the downward trend has changed.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you buying bitcoin now? on: February 07, 2018, 04:30:14 AM
Personally l would be very careful entering at the moment, this could just be a dead cat bounce. If you are keen to buy , dollar cost average. At least then you are not going to get run over , buying at the day time high. Where we are currently, is a 50% retracement on the last leg down (1Hour chart ). My 30 min chart has just given me  a sell signal. Good Luck with it
Posted last comment 2 hours ago price was around $7650, been as low as 7150. My 45 min chart has now confirmed the sell position which means the 1 hours is not far away. If you are really keen to enter l would be looking around the 6700 mark, thats 61.8% retrace from yesterdays low to todays high.
Keep an eye on the volume , will certainly need to pick it up to bounce there, at the moment there is not a lot of conviction in the vol.
Happy Trading!

40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forget HODLing! on: February 06, 2018, 11:31:10 AM
After the last couple of days l have had in this market l refuse to use the term HODL anymore. It is just too nice a term for what we are presently experiencing. I believe we need to ad a new letter to it HOFDL - " Hold on For Fucking dear life " .

Then you don't understand Satoshi idea at all. Bitcoin was NOT created for holding but for exchanging and paying for average goods. I hope market will eliminate such degenerates like you soon  Angry.

I think it is you who does not understand, because Bitcoin in it's current form will never be able to be used for exchanging and paying for average goods. It is way to expensive and far to slow. I think you may have it confused with Bitcoin Cash! I was in this market long before you new what it was and l will be here long after you have gone, so degenerates like me are what make Bitcoin what it is today.
