I am going to gamble and give the team a chance. I was turned off at the beginning based on lisk being held captive in the exchanges causing a lot of missed bonus tokens along with cannabanana's rude and disrespectful reply's to posts. You could lighten up on the demeaning words and cut downs being that you are the voice of ARC...you attract a lot more bee's with honey than you do with vinegar. Yes, some posts can set a person off but that persons responsibility is to encourage with a fact based rebuttal to counter the post and not to stir up the bee hive and the last straw was the tanking of lisk. With that said, What the hell? I had bad days in my life and sometimes we can let the best get us. So what, we learn from our mistakes and become better.
I am staying in. It's up to Ark to produce. Plus the logo is bitching!

just my 2 sats

Couldn't agree with you more. It's a great project but cannabanannas a disgrace. A loose cannon and bad frontman for a good development team.

sticks and stones my break my bones but words will never hurt me.

Unless I'm you and then I guess words hurt a lot  Cry

You are a dick.

I don't need your ico to fill my bag, I'm already pretty well off.

I will now exit ARC and take my money elsewhere.

thank you for your concerns. We will take it under advisement. Posting once is cool. When it goes 2 and more, it is fud. We all are big boys here and can make up our own minds. The only reason to post multiple times in a thread you hate is because 1.You are a loser and have nothing better to do or 2. You have a mental disability. Besides, if you are so damn smart, you would be spending your time with projects you know are great instead of burning time multiple posting.

The last place I would waste my time is in a projects thread talking smack on it. That's because only losers do that.

Not to rain on anyone's parade of course but the logo reminds me a little bit too much of Lbry: https://lbry.io

You're exactly right. Exact same design concept.

The logo is shit, and unoriginal. Same as the project. Complete copy/paste.

Stratis devs and supporters are actively scheming to bury any post that speaks against them. Just watch - this thread will be flooded with repeat announcement posts etc. in order to hide what I'm saying here.

I saw one guy claim that they hardly ever mention price on the Slack. That's completely false. They talk about the price CONSTANTLY! Just join the Slack if you don't believe me!

"The team are already adding more to the roadmap! It's amazing!"

Who gives a fuck what is added to the roadmap?! Adding things to the roadmap doesn't mean anything!

This community is crazy. Even the original USP is false... "the first blockchain developed for business"

O rly?!

Only complete crypto noobs will buy STRAT, because they don't understand that it's all the same marketing lies we've seen before.

Sell now, before STRAT becomes the next Dogecoin.

DEVELOPERS UPDATE
Our developers have been working so hard and so fast on the nStratis project that it’s often difficult to keep on top of the latest news, so this week we have made a special effort to bring you a snapshot of what is happening under the hood of nStratis, right now.

Visual block explorer
Great news – our visual block explorer is within reach. Just two tasks stand between us and having a simple user interface that will enable users/corporations to interrogate the Stratis blockchain: 1, fork the Azure blockchain indexer and 2, see to QbitNinja. Once completed, we will have an official visual block explorer and API that should be able to support up to 20,000 requests per second!

Full Node Update from Nicolas Dorier

For Stratis full node, the consensus code is done. There are two further things that need to be done that I will focus on: downloading from the network – not from a single node peer, and the RPC Server. I’ve worked quite a lots with ASP.NET core on TumbleBit, so it should be easy.

For NTumbleBit: I coded all the logic for puzzle promise and puzzle solver. What is needed now is to do the TumblerServer. This is well on the way and I don’t expect much difficulty in getting it finished.
You can read more about The NTumbleBit project in our recent blog post ‘Anonymous Transactions Coming to Stratis’ that can be found here. In a nutshell, TumbleBit is a new anonymous payment protocol that aims to solve two of the major challenges faced by Bitcoin, scaling Bitcoin to keep up with the increasing demand, and protecting the privacy of payments made via Bitcoin. According to Nicholas TumbleBit will likely be the first off-chain payment system to reach mainstream adoption. We are pleased therefore to be making steps towards adopting this technology into nStratis.

nStratis is Hackathon-ready

We are happy to report that nStratis is now in a ready state for the hackathon. The consensus code for Stratis’ full node is complete and has passed it’s checks. nStratis also supports netstandard (for netcore and cross platform) and has a published and ready to use nuget package. We are using the nStratis nuget package with the netcore project [name of the Minter] to download the blockchain and will be using it to build and broadcast POS blocks to the network.

NBitcoin Update from Nicolas Dorier

Regarding NBitcoin: I’ve just removed dependency to System.Numerics and allowed compilation without Newtonsoft. This basically means that it now theoretically works on Unity. I also coded a bunch of JsonConverter out of the box for serializing to Json – the most commonly used class in NBitcoin.

Hello new logo!

We are excited to officially reveal our new logo to you today. The Stratis brand is currently undergoing a complete face-lift that will include a brand new website. This is necessary in order to be ready for the commercial market. We will be shedding our startup skin between now and the new year and this is the first of our grand reveals. We hope you like it and look forward to bringing you more updates in due course.

Stratis at the Olympia

Stratis will be making an appearance at The Olympia in London for the Blockchain Expo on January 23-24. The theme for the event is ‘Unlocking the Internet of Value’. This will be our first official public appearance so we are taking up a booth, giving us the opportunity to showcase the company to some 1500+ attendees. Confirmed attendees include many mainstream banks, great press contacts as well as some familiar faces from the bitcoin and blockchain startup scene. It should be a really positive experience. Tickets to the expo hall are free so if you are in the area why not stop by and say hello?

Finally we would like to issue some reminders:
If you aren’t already a member of our community on Slack we would love you to join us: https://stratisinvite.herokuapp.com/
Don’t forget to upgrade your Stratis Wallet to v2.0.0.1. This update prevents older clients from connecting to the network. Download it from this link: https://github.com/stratisproject/stratisX/releases/tag/v2.0.0.1
Lastly, if you still have unclaimed Stratis coins, now is the time to claim them.

That’s it for this week,

Stay tuned.

great! thanks for the update.

Great update!

Just look at the shitty new logo!

It's just the same three layers, but joined together in one line!

There's nothing amazing about this new logo, or this project.

Anybody posting in support of this product is likely party to the scam (ignore the Slack regulars, they are all in on it too!)

This coin is a JOKE! Sell now before you are left with nothing!

Don't say I didn't warn you!

thanks for your concern. you posted and now its time for you to move on. only losers hang around a thread they hate.

Hey Stratis Holders,

Just doing my every 2-3 wk swing by to catch up and get a laugh at the occasional fud posts.
Stratis has a strong community, impeccable core development team with a VISION! and a price that is dirt cheap
while the team develops and implements their VISION. The solid buy support is a great indicator of the future of stratis.
I am personally heavy invested in Stratis. I missed the ICO but started buying around 1300 and have not stopped buying.

I buy all the way up and all the way down. Most of the times, I just buy and send to my wallet and they start helping the staking.
I don't buy on the bottom, I buy all the time = dollar cost averaging. Damn, this coin is around 6 cents...give or take a half penny. This coin has the potential to reach one dollar and others have said more but I truly believe that a dollar is not too far off.

Basically there are 100 million coins. Waves have 100 million coins and it's around 23 cents and as high as 35 cents and it dropped
in the teens for awhile. An ultra conservative, easy prediction is stratis WILL definitely have a solid 23-28 cents with high liquidity.
I look at that and say "self, just buy, buy, buy at every chance you get." So to the crybaby saying he lost money in stratis, I say the following...first, thank you for the laughs. You are either from another project and you see all the volume and potential stratis has
and you're pissed so you act like a total fucktard or you truly are a fuctard Grin

keep piling it high people. Do what you can afford. REMEMBER we are talking 6 pennies on a possible life changing experience. These don't just happen everyday. I just believe stratis is that opportunity. It's not a flashy coin, multi-media bs these ICO's take millions from us. This project is the real deal and it is flying under everyone's radar as they focus on zcash, monero, eth, etc and all the damn ICO's . I am in five currently that haven't ended yet. I stake 11 coins and I take what I stake and buy stratis. I will sell those ICO's when release and invest 80% into stratis. That is how much I believe in the project.

Till next time...

What is going on with stratis?

It is now in bearish dumping territory where all the whale insiders who pumped it 10x dumped.   It would be wise to avoid buying as it will likely continue going lower as more and more ICO holders will choose to dump rather than suffer more losses.
What are you talking about ico holders are still in 600% profit. They only had to sell about 10% to break even and the rest is free money. That is not a loss. This is a holders coin as long term investment. Just about all whales are in slack and we know this is a valid project. Bagholders will keep buying for whatever price because we know the value of it's real life purpose. There is a legit team behind it including a bitcoin developer.

Inside slack there is a very smart community bringing ideas to the table that can bring more improvement for a better product. If you don't have anything useful to contribute by fair criticism then it would be wise for you to just shut your mouth. I kind of almost feel sorry for you because you must be missing something in your life. Obviously it is love or passion. What value do you actually have yourself you are more likely a parasite without any morals but greed and hatred. Good luck with your miserable life.

I have looked at your posts and recently you said this. Now your FUD lies in this thread are exposed.
Quote
a person that's done both strategies.  The buy and long term hold has done me far better than my best active trading with 1/10 of the stress dealing with constant fluctuations. If the facts of the project makes sense and progress is being made, there is no need to worry.  I use these panic dump opportunities to buy more and average out my costs. It's also important to consider that there is a lot of manipulation that is done in order to get people to panic sell. The manipulators then drive up the price again and repeat the cycle.  However, the more the trading volume increases, the less single manipulators are able to influence the price.

What's key is to understand what's driving the downtrend. Panic sell = Good opportunity to buy.  Long term downtrend (Lisk is a good example of this as of the current moment)= Sell.

Consider an active trader that bought ETH at $1 and sold at a spike to $3 vs. Someone that bought at $1, saw the price decrease to 50 cents, but still kept holding till now. Who ends up winning?

spot on brother!

I used to hold them tight for really long time but after they gone through 51% network attack they have seen worse. And now better to say they are almost dead, their decision to shift towards POS based wallet even for temporary period turned out to be worse decision, they should have shifted towards lisk.

I have already dumped on almost double than the current price.

has anyone smelled her lately? i hear she is back on the streets

Her attitude towards the KR holders after the attack has changed 180 degrees. One guy even paid 1.15 BTC from his own pocket (and he is probably holding large amount of KR) and now she closed slack channel and bitcointalk thread which caused price to slump. It's like a middle finger to the investors.

IMO she should reopen the thread, slack channel and answer the questions to clear things up. Maybe she already knows she won't be able to raise VC funding. I don't see another explanation for such a weird behaviour(or maybe it's just women's thing).

she is truly a b@tch. she is a poor white trash scammer.
