Dear ImZloyHomyak, as your name implies, you are an angry and evil rodent. I would not normally bother to reply and will not engage in any discourse going forward. However, this once I will take the time to address two of the questions you've listed, for the benefit of the rest of the community.

The original developer of Zero made a set of changes to the Zclassic codebased, that are described in detail in the original ANN. The implementation have been reviewed by a number of competent developers since. From the very start that individual announced his limited availability and no inclination to interact frequently. He does drop by bitcointalk.org occasionally and may well message people privately, but is not posting, as you can see. He has not contributed to Zero codebase since at least Sept. 2017.

Having been involved in Zero for a year now, I have been doing the codebase maintenance for perhaps half of that time and can testify that the current team is the strongest in Zero's lifetime. In terms of the range of technical skills and organizational abilities, we deliver fixes and improvements, peer review the changes, share the workload, plan and then execute a range of tasks in parallel and keep the community apprised and engaged.


Regarding QIEX, indeed it is located in Asia and is a young entrant into the space.  We are not fortune tellers and cannot predict how their business develops over time. By way of example,  Binance was at that stage about a year ago. Many other exchanges are still lingering, after a year or two of operations.

The team at QIEX was willing to work with Zero, to understand the coin particulars and to launch the node in order to support trading it. Jointly we overcame the timezone and language barriers and the trading is now fully in operation.  Personally, I have moved 100 Zero there and have executed perhaps six transactions, on both Buy and Sell side, in order to validate the operation. For me, the system has operated without a single glitch.

Same as everyone reading this post, you have to do your own research and evaluate suitability of the size and execution of specific investments to your personal situation and skills. A prudent approach to investments is broad diversification, across various asset classes, where Crypto likely should not constitute the majority of your overall portfolio.  Across Crypto, I typically suggest a long term sizable investment in top five currencies, with much smaller and actively managed investments in individual Altcoins.

Do consider diversifying into other members of the Zcash ecosystem, and also into the Ethereum coin and tokens domain.  There are exciting new blockchain architectures coming online right now, such as EOS and TRON, and NEO shows promise.  Good luck in your investments, and do share with the community your insights and successes.

You know that numbers don't contribute to anything? Retweets/Likes/Comments is what does it and not by fake accounts with 0 followers.
We need big people to retweet posts, not your 0 follower accounts.

Now, about VK. It's basically the Russian Facebook, so why not just advertise to the whole world?
I've advertised on Facebook and their targeting algorithm is pretty good, I doubt VK would yield results that are even close to those of facebook.

The creator isn't back in Zero, he just updated the announcement, we've not heard of him, the team has not heard of him.
You should know that it'll be good publicity if he came back, so no reason to hold that information back.

Masternodes are not gonna be implemented, they are not confirmed by the team. Yes, there was a poll about them, but it as said millions of times that the poll is just to measure the community's opinion and that they will not implement masternodes in the near future.

Destination address changed? You mean that now there are a few addresses, each for an individual thing?

Developer fund is pretty good, because developers like Duke Leto will not work for free, they're gems with experience in the blockchain and Leto personally has worked on multiple ZCash forks, so yeah, the money is for bounty developers.

About QIEX, EVERYONE AGREED to list on there, the only one that whined and cried about it is YOU. You are the one who warned them and you seem to be a 1st class scepticist. You are not better than the rest of the community, you are just a puny mortal, just like the rest of us.

You called Rick a "bad marketer", you're the one who wants to advertise on VK instead of Facebook, for an international currency/platform. That is the definition of a bad marketer. You are the one that wanted to advertise an international product in one country, when there is a better option, with a much better marketing algorithm and targeting.

In the chat, you told Rick that they've already launched masernodes? That's so delusional. Rick literally told you it's gonna be cleared up in the monday newsletter and instead of waiting you decided to attack the team here. Why did he not explain on the spot, you say? Well, because of what's happening now. Even if all of the team came to tell you that YOU'RE WRONG, you wouldn't change your mind, so he didn't even try.

Another thing, this is community-driven, but all decisions can't be decided by community, because most of people only care about the pump, while the team is ACTUALLY trying to build a currency.

Also, you're the only one that didn't want to list on QIEX, so I don't know where the "did you ask the community about QIEX" is coming from..

Please don't post anymore and shame yourself, because the devs didn't listen to you, this is not a dictatorship and you're not even part of the team.
Create your own coin, fork whatever you want and do whatever you want with it, market it on "VK" and buy fake twitter followers.

I am one of the development team, and address your points per the below:

1) The coins creator has not returned to the project, and we still have no idea who this was, or even their whereabouts. This is community takeover 2.0 (since early April 2018), and the team in charge is open, transparent, and here for the long run;

2) There originally was one address, but as we are reliant on the donations from the community, we made three addresses so that the community can choose which address they want to donate to: one for the development of the project, one for exchange listings, and one for general donations.

Look the wallets up, there have only been additions to the wallets, and no withdrawals. The development team are volunteers, and we will in no way at all be touching the donations from the community for payment. I think that your confusion lies in the translation of developer fund (although the wallet is termed development fund).

3 a - d) QIEX is a brand new exchange that offered to list us for free, and they had a stringent process for listing. We have been working with the developers of QIEX in making this listing work. As always though, DO NOT leave your funds on any exchange, we would state this even if we were listed on Binance or any other Tier 1 exchange. THIS IS JUST COMMON SENSE.

As a note also, the dev team also did send some of their individual personally purchased ZER to the exchange to try out the interface and trading system.

In terms of your removal from Discord you were banned for constant FUD, blatantly bringing the project into disrepute in the Russian chat (yes, we can easily Google translate), and also constantly casting a negative view on the progress of the project up to and including 8 weeks since takeover and voicing these negative opinions in the chat.

When frustrated with the progress of the project, you directly approached the dev team to offer to 'buy sim cards to make numerous fake twitter accounts to increase Zero's awareness' in the Twitter-sphere. When we suggested that you keep your money, and that the project would organically grow with quality products and deliverables steadily released, you quit the Discord. You then came back after your own exile, and then purported to cast your negative views on the project once again.

In this second round return to Discord, you also accused us of not marketing the coin properly, and to use the funding that we had in the development fund to host Youtube bounties of the coin to the tune of 500 ZER and beyond. Imagine how the general community would feel if we had blown the current funds on Youtube promotions, instead of development towards a finite supply, block halving, and a developer fund. (Of which we have not touched yet, as we are aiming to avoid this as far as we can go).

If the developer community donations funding in said wallet still exists by the time that the developer fund is implemented in the upcoming fork, then we will REFUND THE DONATIONS TO THE RELEVANT WALLET ADDRESSES THAT SENT THEM. Not the best practice for a scam project I think many will agree.

By the way, the only funding that WILL be coming out of the 'development fund' community donation wallet is 40 ZER per month because the project is sponsoring the 2 x community pools that are offering a 0% pool fee to miners. This is to cover their operating costs.

Viktor, I don't know how much more transparent we can be, with weekly updates, a constant reminder of community donations still remaining in the relevant wallets, and a solid plan for the project.

None of this existed before, but it is still not good enough? Please take your negative views elsewhere while they exist, and if you want to extend an arm of assistance to the project in a legitimate way, then you are more than welcome back down the track.

We are sorry for the way you feel, but Zero is not a pump and dump project. We recognize that a lot of people may have invested into the project at ATH (which by the way, was 3 months before community takeover 2.0), but we are here for the long run, delivering a steady, organic, growth for  the community, investors, and project.
