Sweet mother of god, this coin is on fire! Best investment I made all year. I've been trading Alts four years and I know an easy winner when I see it. Still 400% to go no problem

I notice ok is always paired next to bitcoin. besides the obvious, what connection do they have? they are different blockchains.
The global cypto market is tiny, so alt-coins naturally gravitate to the pairings with the highest liquidity - namely Bitcoin. That's all there is to it.

Additional issues after getting the new wallet: I had to download the blockchain from the Git since it was't synching. Now it seems to sync okay, but now I cannot stake. The wallet is unlocked and connected. Normally I stake every 15-20 minutes, but I haven't got any stakes at all since updating the wallet some days ago. It permanently says estimated time to earn reward is 10-12 minutes but I never get anything.

Hey guys, just downloaded the latest wallet but the sync has been stuck on 98.5% for three days now. I have 5-7 active connections to the network but it doesn't get any more blocks. Help!

I knew getting into OKC at 150 satoshis 18 months ago was a great idea But for anyone not here yet, the second best time is now!

I'm just quietly staking while I wait for the future to deliver me riches. Edit: Looks like that's not gonna take very long

After watching for a while i guess i need to jump on this train before it gets to far down the line! i am loving the ideas and the solid workmanship of this coin!
Looks like you just made some money if you got in when you posted!

Hold on to your hats people. I'm getting altitude sick from the price rocketing up.

You don't need to hold until then, you just have to hold some at some point in that period whilst snapshots are made to receive a share of the Ardor.
Right, but it's important to note that it's proportional. So the longer you hold, the more Ardor you get at a 1:1 ratio.

I made my Polo request a few days ago. For the red sections above, I wrote:
"After more than two years of development, with great progress on our Internet of Things deployments and growing volume on Bittrex, we would like to take OKC to the next level by offering it for trade on Poloniex - specifically to gather more attention and community involvement for our plan to connect small devices to the blockchain and do meaningful work through them."
and
"OKC comes ready with several out-of-the-box full node setups for RaspberryPi and Pine64, so people can stake, contribute to the network, and more importantly start working with blockchain-connected devices on the nascent 'internet of things'"
All of this sent me to bed with the overriding feeling that we should have a serious talk about our mission statement and market positioning, perhaps becoming more IoT focused and spending more time there discovering the neat ways that OKC could be used to make novel device interactions possible. Right now I think the front-page spiel is just fluff that's been kicking around for too long. Perhaps we can kickstart a fresh take on what trajectory OKC is taking, in the direction of small device connectivity. We have these neat ROKOS tools but don't make any play on them in our marketing.
We can do a lot better than "The Bitcoin's Grandson", which apart from being grammatically wrong, doesn't mean anything useful - ditto our prior association to Pimpcash.
I'm short on time now, but I'm happy to be in the driving seat after September to take a fresh look at our positioning.

anyone have an eta on the ardor snapshot thing?
Starts at 1900 GMT tomorrow until block 1,000,000 on October 12th, at which time your NXT holdings every hour in that interval are averaged for the Ardor payout.

Seen on the NXT reddit. Looks good!

Is there some way to suppress the Staking toast notification and sound? I want to stake in the background 24/7 but don't want to be constantly interrupted because I get a stake every 8-10 minutes or so.
That's a Windows notification and for the life of me, can't remember where to turn them off now ... right click on the bottom corner notification I think. Also sounds, in Control Panel Yeah that's what I figured, but OKC has no entries there. It seems the operating system is oblivious to its existence. Maybe there just aren't the relevant hooks for the volume mixer to recognize. I guess I'll keep wishing for an iOS wallet that can stake at home all day!

Seeing things like that makes me want to run a mile, not make a serious investment. We are not DOGE, we will never be DOGE. We shouldn't try to emulate them, and certainly not with terrible graphics like this.
We have now had to endure pages and pages of your ridiculous 1998-style MS Paint junk and I ask you to stop. I am concerned that you are putting people off our community with these awful graphics. Either we are toddlers who are intent to fill up this thread with pointless shit that we drew on the wall with crayons, or we can talk about the roadmap and future of this coin as a payment method and an investment. Again, I'm not sure if it's a joke (it's not funny) but it makes us look really really really bad.
Either you are purposefully trying to damage the image of this project or just don't know how truly awful you are at making graphics. It makes me cringe seeing this thread every day, and tempts me to pull my 2.5 million OKC instantly out of here and on to somewhere with adults.
As one of the major investors in OKCash, I urge you to please stop.

I apologise in advance for being as ass, but these graphics by speaktome are so terrible that it makes me wince every time I see them in the thread. Are they supposed to be a joke? They all look like they were made by a chimpanzee using his toes to operate Microsoft Paint. Not a good look for the community.

Man, it must suck to be so over-committed in a low liquidity market and need money so desperately that you'll accept 50% slippage when cashing out :/

The buy support on Bittrex just doubled to more than 25btc today. That's nice
