PhoenixMiner can you please add feature to check graphic cards wattage like Bminer did with their miner?
i also asked same feature couple of post ago:-) it would be really great to see how much power each card using also in total...i hope developer will be able to add it. |

i am. using latest phoinex miner.
i have no stale and no incorrect shares but i have around 15 rejected shares in 36hours.
how do reduce rejected shares to minimum? Many thx in advance for your advices...
lower OC Thanks mate. will. do Hey guys just an FYI not sure what pool you guys are using but i recently found a pool with no fees. Works great with PM and i can say my avg eth pay has increased by20% they are smaller and find less frequent but been better for me. ethertrench.com yes. small pool pays more at initial and when starts cant find block then they wont pay you... i lost almost 2 week at xminer.net.electricy is expensive so i couldn't wait very long. so bigger pool pays everyday and regularly. i would prefer regular payments. |

Hi Everyone,
First post on the forum, started mining as a hobby a few months ago.
Changed to PhoenixMiner over the weekend as Claymore crashed out after a few minutes when using the EthLargement pill [I have an 1080TI in my rig].
PhoenixMiner doesn't crash when on the pill and the hashrates are also a bit higher, so far so good [apart from when Windows Defender ignores the fact that PhoenixMiner is added to the exclusions].
The issue I'm having is that every now and then the reported hashrate on nanopool drops to 0 and stays there until I reboot the miner.
The start_miner.bat I'm using looks like below:

setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

Do I miss something from the bat file?
The rig is running windows 10 64 bit.
Any insight as to where I go wrong is appreciated!
if it is not stock rom then your mod rom has got problem mate. |

One of my rigs stopped mining earlier today. Turned out it was Windows Defender that moved the PhoenixMiner.exe into the quarantine categorised as "Trojan:Win32/Tilken.B!cl"
Did restore the .exe and disabled Windows Defender. The threat in my opinion is Windows Defender, not the miner.
Windows Defender Details:
Trojan:Win32/Tilken.B!cl
Alert level: Severe
Status: Active
Date: 02/05/2018
Recommended action: Remove threat now.
Category: Trojan
Details: This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.
Affected items:
file: C:\dev\Ethereum\PhoenixMiner_2.9e\PhoenixMiner.exe
process: pid:10100,ProcessStart:131683638871312779
You should not use any AV. included WD. That's really bad advice. Just configure your AV to exclude certain directories that your miners are located. it is extremely good advice if your rig only for mining.but if you use your pc as a miner than yes.you should use av and exclude your miner. |

My first post so I may not be taking seriously but I installed the latest drivers on my 1070 rig and the hash rates dropped on all cards by ~10% Anyone else had an issue, or even anyone with 1070's where its fine? that's right with the new nvidia driver, the pool hashrate is much lower due to fewer shares.and phoenixminer crashes and starts again.what driver of nvidia works best with phoenix and the best shares. please report on the forum. Standart nvidia windows update driver works just perfect for me.Windows update finds auto if you click windows update under device manager driver installation.no need latest nvidia drivers at all... |

Pays out very quickly no hassles, also pays for valid uncle shares(stales) as well.
its a smaller pool so finds less often but has large miners come and go that help frequency of finds.
i ve used Phoenix on here for the last few weeks and its been great.
FYI disclosure. I have no affiliation to anyone running or on the pool.

To the Developer: For some reason phoenixminer will NOT AUTO RUN using regedit but Claymore does  ? what gives I set up all my rigs to auto log on auto mine - in case power loss or windows update or some other bulsh*t etc......... works fine with claymore. If I input phoenixminer.exe absolutely NOTHING HAPPENS AFTER REBOOT ..................... WTF....................................... Just create short cut on windows startup folder wi start just perfect. you don't need regedit at all.. WTF: -) You don't need to swear at all. just ask. :-) |
