Right now based on staking ROI, total masternode collateral plus the amount of BTC2 that seems to be on Crex24, only about 140k - 200k of the supply has been "claimed". So the
truly circulating supply is about 140k - 200k BTC2. Which would make the
current Bitcoin 2 market cap only something like $60000.

The majority of the coins will probably forever remain unclaimed as people
don't have access to their private keys from their exchanges etc.
Interesting conclusions, but such a low quantity of circulating coins is good or bad?

Each BTC2 can be divided into 8 decimals and thus there's plenty regardless. Whether the supply was 1 trillion or 150k, both could be divided to billions of people and so that number alone tells nothing. It does affect how people should count the market cap however.

This is my overall comparisons and review with the latest release of wallet compare to the old one, in the old one i got so many bugs and orphan minted coin, but in this release, it runs smoothly and I stake regularly.. Great job to the Dev Team!!

Thanks john and heidim for the feedback. I'm surprised that 1/3 of nodes are still staking with the old 2.1.0 version. New version makes a difference in efficiency in most cases.

Are you planning to release another new version of wallet, or are we gonna stick with this version for a while? We are waiting for the android/IOS wallet too. Smiley

Our next Core wallet release will probably be the one with major new features. Most likely will take more than a month.

We didn't update the road map image yet with this new idea but we aim to release web wallets (that can be used by mobile phones) in a month instead of mobile app wallets. Since the mobile app ones wouldn't be able to stake anyway and thus aren't yet high priority.

I'm curious, the exchange in the wallet is planned for what kind of coins? Only for bitcoin or others(etherium, monero etc), too?

To be determined, but possibly others too.

I see there are 4 masternodes now.
Has there been an increase in people joining the staking lately?

Yes there seems to be a new masternode. My node can see more than 20 peers online now. Your node can only see up to that many if it successfully accepts incoming connections.

hi, jackleszz, what's the expected benefit per day by running a masternode?

Total pool of rewards for masternodes is around 288 BTC2 per day so they get that much divided by the number of masternodes online. (25% of new block rewards). Right now, with only 3 masternodes online, each one gets about 96 BTC2/day (288 / 3 = 96).

Where can I buy 1000 BTC2 ?

Before exchange listing only by private sales. You could try posting in our subreddit.

An ambassador program is quite likely to be launched once ready. But it needs to be done right with  ambassadors that are actually able to get the message to a significant amount of new people rather than just be an extension of the bounty program.

Well, it's good that there are such participants as John1010. I think participants who want to help the project quite a lot.
There is a very good connection with the team, but not everyone is constantly reading the tread. I signed up for updates on the site, but I have not received a single letter yet.

Yeah, we will need to change the newsletter's from address or start using a new delivery method to improve delivery then. Marketing has barely even started and we need to ramp it up before we can compete with such votes. Ambassadors alone won't be enough.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【LAUNCHED】【BTC2】Bitcoin 2, BTC Fork 1:1, PoS 🔥 Zerocoin, Anonymous ⚡️Instant TX on: July 13, 2018, 11:37:32 AM
I voted, but unfortunately now the results are:
Project placed 458th with 9 votes

Yeah the limited marketing we have done so far caught us unprepared for this voting. John1010 surprised us so we thought to give it a try anyway. Out of the 700 or so newsletter subscribers not many seem to bother signing up to KuCoin and vote as of yet. I bet a lot of the top voted projects have people doing multiple KuCoin + Telegram accounts for their votes. If we make it to top 50 we may have an easier time getting a normal paid for KuCoin listing.
Are you hinting that you can try to vote from another telegram+KuCoin?
I think it may just not be enough time for all the supporters of the project found out about voting.

Agreed that it may not be enough time. We saw this late.

It is technically possible for one person to make many accounts and yes votes. Probably the top projects have lots of fake votes that's all.

Looking at the listed features, Bitcoin 2 is a better, faster, and more secure fork of Bitcoin. Using the wallet you will have all of these advanced features and that of Bitcoin. Any updates would be appreciated..
When the mainnet of Bitcoin 2 be launched?
Has it been launched yet?

It launched already on March 28.

Here's mine, I have 9 connection and I figure out that in 24hrs I mostly got an orphan sometimes 2 or 3 orphan a day, I followed all the instruction posted by @jacklezz but I think the problem is not on the settings in my PC but my network provider. I think peer and connection is not the matter most, atleast you have 3-4 connection, that's fine.. I minted 5-6 times in 24hrs including the orphan.

Yeah orphan blocks get created sometimes no matter what due to other people creating blocks simultaneously, but its harmless. Connecting to more peers just helps with it.

2) You wallet should have 100 UTXOs (unspent transaction outputs, AKA unspent incoming transactions) or more.  This is because every time you stake or send an amount, that amount cannot be staked or spent for 101 blocks, while it is maturing (being staked). You can see the number of UTXOs that you have in the Coin Control dialog. Doesn't matter how many addresses or wallets they are split into. One single address can hold these 100 UTXOs.
if your balance is lower than 500 BTC2, You can get a close enough result without that much effort by splitting your balance into stacks of 5 - 50 BTC2. For example 150 BTC2 can just be split into 5 pieces and you'd be unlikely to notice the difference in efficiency of that versus splitting it in 100 parts. You can do the splitting by sending BTC2 to yourself.

Hi jeckleszz,

my wallet says that is has an UTXO size of 0.00. How can I increase that number to 100?

Thanks,
Zackie

Anyone has an answer to that question?

You seem to misunderstand what an UTXO is. Anyway, Jackleszz did try to answer your question in this message: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2871452.msg37098249#msg37098249

I want to restore the wallet from the old backup file. Now the coins are divided into several addresses, and the old file is a backup of the system with one address. Will the wallet see new addresses after backup?
how to do it right?

I don't recommend restoring a backup unless there is something wrong with your current wallet.dat file. BTC2 exists in the blockchain so even if you restored it successfully, they would still be split into those addresses. Best to just send your balance back to that address with just one transaction if you want to consolidate it again.

in the list of peers there are only 2 addresses. This is normal?

And what does it mean "Multisend: not active"?

You see only 2 peers because your router or firewall blocks incoming connections, as does that of most others. You should see more than 20 if not.
Most home routers have NAT that by default blocks incoming connections initiated by someone else than you. You can usually fix that and start allowing incoming connections with one of two ways:

A) Launch Bitcoin 2 Core, go to Settings - Options. Go to Network. Enable: "Map port using UPnP". Then restart the app. You may also want to read this article: https://dirkmittler.homeip.net/blog/archives/3340

B) Or follow the guide at: https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node#enabling-connections - the steps are exactly the same for Bitcoin 2.

Multisend is an advanced, special purpose feature which is better left not active unless you know the wallet inside and out and have a reason to send the block or masternode rewards to some address as soon as you get them.

jackleszz,

I've tried Map port using UPnP,  follow the guide at: https://bitcoin.org/en/full-node#enabling-connections - the steps are exactly the same for Bitcoin 2. but I only get 5 connections at any given time. I've also cleared the peers file in roaming but still only get 5 peers. Could it be the hardware of the pc? Is there anything else to try?

If the map port using UPnP doesn't work, try to configure the router according to the instructions. Even that does not work with every ISP in the world.

Hi!
How to optimize the stacking process. In order for the process to work at 100 percent?
Should we split coins between different adresses or its better to keep them in one wallet?

Note that with a balance of less than 30 BTC2 your staking efficiency would already be close enough to 100%. If you have a higher balance, consider doing the following steps:

To achieve 100% staking efficiency:

1) Make sure you're allowing incoming connections and that you are connected to a lot of peers.
There's currently 25 nodes connected to the Bitcoin 2 network. If you see only a few peers connected, then have a look at the following to get better results:

Most home routers have NAT that by default blocks incoming connections initiated by someone else than you so you are likely connected to very few peers because of that and thus more likely to mint orphaned blocks. You can usually fix that and start allowing incoming connections with one of two ways:

... A) Launch Bitcoin 2 Core, go to Settings - Options. Go to Network. Enable: "Map port using UPnP". Then restart the app. You may also want to read this article: https://dirkmittler.homeip.net/blog/archives/3340

For example.
I have 180 BTC2
I just need to:

Split them into 6 pieces by sending to myself 6 times 30 BTC2?

That is all?

That's correct. However, all in one transaction (using multiple recipients).

Thank you!

Another questions
1.(using multiple recipients) - You mean I should go to:  -  Settings-  MultiSend- (and click bar  Send for stakes)
2. If yes, how many percentage (there) should i choose? It is necessary to choose such a percentage that on each wallet  it turned out for 30 BTC2?
3. What does it mean bar with Send for Masternode Rewards?

No, not with the multisend. Just at the Send tab add more recipients than just the one.

I realize a difference in wallet balance between two wallet after staking one wallet a while.

One wallet ist staking all time.
One wallet ist offline on a different PC.
Both wallets/ keys are the same.
Both QT is same (updated version b).

Online (Staking) Wallet:
Combined Balance: 10
BTC2 Balance: 10
zBTC Balance: 0

Offline Wallet (after synchronised):
Combined Balance: 10.6
BTC2 Balance: 10
zBTC Balance: 0.6

After some time the staking wallet shows me a larger ammount of coins.
Closing, Restart brings no change.

Any idea, why? and which one is correct?

zBTC2 is tied to the wallet.dat file. So proof of you owning that amount of zBTC2 in the blockchain only exists in that wallet.dat file and any backups of it. And thus both are correct and at that time you had 10.6 BTC2 total.

Hello!

I'm interested in answers to frequently asked questions))

1. where can I see or generate a private key of my Bitcoin 2 wallet?
2. what do I need to do to install a wallet  on another computer and enter into my wallet
3. How to protect the wallet?

1. With the Bitcoin 2 Core wallet open, go to tools - debug console and type: dumpprivkey yourpublicaddress

2) just copy the wallet.dat file from the old computer to the new one's bitcoin 2 data directory. Or the whole bitcoin 2 data directory.

3) Make backups of the wallet.dat and the private keys of significant addresses and keep them safe.
Then for advanced users: You can also go to settings - encrypt wallet. But don't do that without knowing how to backup your wallet.dat file first and preferably encrypting the backup with another software and different password just in case. Also encrypting your wallet this way forces you to type the password every time you want to use it so it is really best to only be used when you want to keep the BTC2 inactively without staking.

Hi, I downloaded new wallet. It is fully synced and wallet shows a balance. But it is saying that staking is not active. Is there any troubleshooting steps that I can follow to solve this problem? Thanks

Just wait and it should turn green. If after 5 more minutes that's not the case, then go to Tools - Debug Console. Type: getstakingstatus
it will state something like:
{
   "validtime": true,
   "haveconnections": true,
   "walletunlocked": true,
   "mintablecoins": true,
   "enoughcoins": true,
   "mnsync": true,
   "staking status": true
}

So if all those are true, you're staking. If one or more of them is false, you can reply back with the output.

Thanks a lot. Wallet was not unlocked. Now its staking. Thanks again for the support. Is there any way to check the results of staking?

You will see mints/rewards of 0.6 BTC2 every time that your node created a block that was accepted by the network. How long before you create the first block depends on how much you are staking. If more than 20 BTC2, usually within 24 hours.

Great. I got a 0.6 reward. Does this amount depends on the hardware performance of the computer or it is completely depends on the amount of BTC2 I'm holding in my wallet?

The amount is always the same per block for everyone. The number of times you get that reward per day/month depends on how much BTC2 are you staking and for how long. (Just keep the wallet running 24/7 if you want to maximize results.)

Your hardware is not irrelevant but probably makes very little difference unless you are using most of your CPU on some heavy app such as a video game, then during that time your staking performance might suffer.
