================ Request 1 ================
KYC and Proof of Address
Dear Valued Trader,

Please be advised that your account functionality has been temporarily restricted.

The activity on your account was flagged as suspicious by our Security and Risk Monitoring System, and the restrictions on some operations have been placed automatically.

By enforcing security measures we strive to protect our traders and create a healthy trading environment. We sincerely hope for cooperation on your end and ask you to please kindly provide some additional information for the verification process. This request is in line our AIA and international AML policies which can be viewed in the AIA policy section.

Please use our KYC verification form to upload the required documents, click “Request Verification,” and notify us once it is done by responding to this email.

We kindly ask you to disable all tools masking your network activity (VPNs or proxies) when logging into your HitBTC account while your identity and the activity on your account are being verified.

We aim to restore the full functionality of your account as soon as possible, however, manual KYC/AML verification takes time. Please be patient and, to avoid delays, please make sure to follow the guidelines when submitting the documents. We also wanted to let you know that providing links to your public Facebook or LinkedIn profiles can expedite the verification process.

Thank you and best regards,

HitBTC Team

================ Request 2 ================
Source of Funds
Dear Trader,

We have reviewed the documents you submitted in our KYC form, and in order to pass the verification process we need some additional information regarding the source of funds for the following transactions:

Amount    Currency    Hash
0.2    btc    3408915e430e4aed80c1cbe07b481...b15e8e74b48f5defb6486c96434e4
0.05    btc    6e0c6a914c8b07733839b16319ee9...2d6c851e6a5fbd2436c45c59bee8b

The source of funds report has to describe all actions you have performed with these funds before sending them to HitBTC, e.g. purchasing, exchanging, transferring from one address to another.

Kindly present the chain of events in chronological order. Please attach full-display screenshots confirming each step.

Note that screenshots of public blockchain explorers data are not accepted. Please provide the screenshots of your actions on the crypto services that you have used.

For example, if you obtained these funds on another crypto trading platform, please provide us the full-display screenshots of your deposit, trading, and withdrawal history on that platform so that the transaction history of the funds would be clearly traced.

Please note that we need to see detailed information (hash, address) for each of the above transactions.

Thank you,
HitBTC Team

================ Request 3 ================
Documents of other people who give me the funds.
Dear Trader,

In case the funds been purchased (received as a gift) from an individual, please provide us with a notary certified letter confirming that. Make sure the following points are mentioned:
- Documents proving buyer's identity;
- Documents proving seller's identity;
- Value that was given in exchange in the process of a purchase;
- The exact amount of the funds purchased;
- Details (hashes/addresses) of each transaction related to the purchase;
- The date when the letter was composed.

The letter then has to be certified by a notary.
To avoid unnecessary delays, please make sure all the requirements are met.

Regards,
HitBTC Team

==========================================

Who knows what they will request next?
I already provided all documents i have. and they didn't release the funds yet.

Maybe they'll ask me later to get the passports of Satoshi Nakamoto, the founder of bitcoin.

Until now, i can deposit and trade, but i can't withdraw.

my advice : HitBTC is Big Scam!

I have negative rating for hitbtc because always get problem with my assets holding there, last moment when my account suddenly reset without have any confirmation with my mobile phone number and lucky I never hold coin any more in hitbtc account, my friend talk to me if you coin sell on hitbtc exchange market better after success selling to withdraw and never hold coin there for long term, but I always success when withdraw in Hitbtc and never get any problem by disable or other problem, maybe you change your password account or 2fa before you make withdrawing and I think will be disable for one day.

i didn't change 2fa nor password. i used it normally.

reply from reddit :
Hitbtc_Team : Hello! I’m sorry that our KYC requirement caused you so much stress.

It seems that you were misled to believe that KYC can be requested only in cases of large amount withdrawals. However, it is not so — KYC can be requested at any time, no matter the size of the transaction.

Once it is requested, there is no way around it. If you wish to withdraw your funds, you’ll be free to do so after you complete your verification.

Please provide relevant information and documents. If you need any help with this process or any clarification, please address this matter it in your ticker. Our Support Team will be happy to help!

why they disable withdraw only. why they don't disable trade or deposit?
i can see this is naked trap clothed with terms.

my account is old, i didn't approve to KYC terms when i registered years ago.
32  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 23, 2020, 11:29:54 AM
i asked support on telegram and updated ticket that i want to exit with my funds without KYC.
my funds are below daily limit (0.2 btc) and i no longer want to continue with HitBTC.

they give me little hope on telegram group, i hope to get positive results.

Thank goodness you've found the answer, to my knowledge Hitbtc is not a scammer,
they have a limit if you are not KYC, you should do KYC so that your account there is safe.
because I am also a Hitbtc user and very comfortable in there.

i don't advice you to trust them enough, my problem not solved yet, i just got little hope from telegram reply.

i'm old HitBTC user too, i see my deposit address has total 7 btc received (old deposits). but my funds locked when i try to use it again recently.

i will update topic here when my problem be solved.

i'll post review about this shit everywhere if they don't release my fund  Huh  Huh

UPDATE :
i was going to ask support on reddit, but i find tons of similar cases on their reddit page.
i'm getting more sure this site is big scam.

still same error after 3 days.
Withdrawals are temporarily disabled on your account. Please contact us via this form.

as they said on ticket reply, i was using Proxy/ VPN and that was right. i use VPN normally when i enter wallet or exchange site for security.

part of ticket reply :
We kindly ask you to disable all tools masking your network activity (VPNs or proxies) when logging into your HitBTC account while your identity and the activity on your account are being verified.

I read now on their terms :
HitBTC reserves the right to close any of your HitBTC Accounts, to liquidate any open trade positions, and to force you to withdraw all the crypto assets from the Technology Platform in case if: (i) HitBTC determines that you are accessing the Services or the Technology Platform from any Restricted Jurisdiction, or (ii) you have given false representations as to your location of incorporation, establishment, citizenship or place of residence.

in this case, they should allow me to withdraw my money and then close my account.
i will agree to leave HitBTC forever, after they give me my money.

what you suggest in this case?
36  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 20, 2020, 10:19:07 AM
Btw, for the withdrawal issue, what coins did you want to withdraw? All coins or only certain coins? Sometimes, in some exchanges, the withdrawal menu is not available yet because of some reasons. that is why before using an exchange, it is better to search for information about them at first

i'm trying to withdraw USDT. total balance 3630 USDT. i'm trying to withdraw 800 and i'm still getting same error.

I hope you can solve your case in HitBTC, and you can withdraw all of your money. You don't have to use that exchange once you got your money because I am sure that you can found the other exchange which will better for you.

sure, i will never use HitBTC again after i get my money back.

here is reply from HitBTC support ticket :

if history repeats itself, Litecoin could hit $300 by the end of 2020.
38  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 19, 2020, 07:52:12 AM
thanks everyone for your replies. i will wait few days, if not solve automatically, i will ask my friend to do it for me.
i will withdraw my funds asap and will never be back to use HitBTC or other exchange sites ask for private documents.

why they didn't ask for documents when i want to deposit bitcoin. this is hidden trap inside the rules.

i'm using crypto, which is founded to respect privacy.
i'm not depositing or withdrawing fiat money to get stuck with long documents requirements.
HitBTC is not a bank to ask for all these.
39  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 18, 2020, 02:40:51 PM
Does your activity's normal things? If yes, you can send some ticket to asking why then how to solved the problem. Usually they had lock on your account for reason security, you will be asked to do KYC procedure.

i contact support and they asked to complete KYC documents.
but my trade volume is low, and i don't want to share my personal documents with anyone.
plus, i used site long time ago and they never asked for that before.

do you know if they will release my funds automatically by the time?
Terms & Condition already "ticked" once registered, so we have nothing power then.
I can understand your have important reason to wont share any ID or  documents to a company. But you need to completed for claim your money or your rights.
Many thread or case built on this forums, the most case solved through completing the KYC.

ok anyone trusted here can complete this for me?
i will give $500 for help, and i withdraw the remain $3100
40  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - Withdraw Disabled, is it scam ? on: November 18, 2020, 02:36:11 PM
I do not know what kind of problems that they are currently encountering because I have also account in HitBTC and I able to get my funds whenever I withdraw it before, I never experienced that kind of problem because before they have a good service but now it seems that it is a huge problems for traders and investors like you. We cannot easily say it a scam because it is too early and maybe there just problems, you should not be nervous because for me you will withdraw it because hitbtc have already reputation but what I do not like in hitbtc is it is full of shitcoins and the volume is low but overall it is good before. Thank you for your information because I plan to fund my account there again but I luckily read your recent experienced.

i'm old user of HitBTC too, but today i used to exchange 0.2 btc into 3600 USDT.
when i try to withdraw i got that error. i used HitBTC before with up to 7 btc total. but don't know what happen after a long time. so be careful.

if account verification is required, why they don't ask for it before i invest.
however, for small trader i don't think documents should be required.
