21  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ant miner s1 - connection timed out? on: February 15, 2014, 06:35:51 PM
thanks S4!

running advanced ip scanner, i found out that someone re-addressed the IP for my miner.
and apparently had their pool, username, and password in the settings.
which is a bit off putting since i bought this "new".
luckily for greater ninja, my memory is pretty bad and i didn't write down any of that info.

switched everything over to my router's default setting and i'm off and mining.
looks like my hash is pretty low (via slush's account info) , but it keeps jumping up every few minutes, so hopefully its just coming up to speed.
looking directly at the antminer gui, hashrates are great.

You can check your real hashrate on the miners interface, Slush's will only report an average hashrate, that's why it's always climbing every time you refresh.

Wow! My miner found a block. Number 285163. A first for me.

Mine found 2 a couple days ago throughout a single day and my rig is microscopic in comparison to what I see out there. Is that equivalent lightning striking twice?

How do you check to see if your miner was the one that found a block?

BobSag,

Quick question about the batch 1 minersource customers..  Do we have to do anything special to register for the 25% cloudhashing beginning May1?  Are we automatically in the system, or should we go into minersource and sign up for the 4 month rent-a-minion(500 ghs, or whatever 25% is?)with a a promotional code or something?  Or is this just part of your paperwork?  We at least have to give you payout addresses etc.. I know we have 3 months, and you have plenty going on, so let us know how we can help..

What I would like to know is, who is the competition ?

I know there is BFL with their "Monarch", and frankly, that is the least of my concerns...

But what other company has next gen ASIC machines and what are their release dates ?

40 phs on the horizon, minimum announced hash rate.  Recent events suggest that it will be later than announced.

I hope they beat the Neptunes to shipping.  At least now I don't have to check their website every ten minutes.  I really hope they consider more compensation.
Could someone explain to me the tech-speak?
What is 120 ghs at the TT, and 100 at the ss corner?  Does that mean 220 x 4 chips=880 ghs?
28  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: R23: 10.8ghs $132.80 [Closed] immediate hash on: January 29, 2014, 07:07:33 AM

From the stats page .. it looks like R23 is earning only about 0.1152 BTC per day gross and has earned even less - a total of .5772 - during the past 7 days to date (Jan 22-28).  At that rate, R23 will have only about .9228 gross BTC at the end of the month in 3 days.

Where is this stats page?  All I can find is this http://www.crypto-ops.com/?page_id=1506 on the archived site.  I'd like to make sure my wallet is accurate, and watch it whir.

And let's not forget those were supposed be 2ths machines, not 1.6 as are being delivered.
30  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Asicminer Cube quick question on: January 26, 2014, 04:55:27 AM
I believe it just has to be plugged into your router, you will need the PC/laptop to configure it, but it isn't physically connected to the PC/laptop.

33  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: CoinTerra announces its first ASIC - Hash-Rate greater than 500 GH/s on: January 18, 2014, 06:12:40 AM
Just breached over 2000MM on the next difficulty prediction, it will probably be much more for the next adjustment.  There have been large spikes this month, several petahash...Hashfast is not shipping who is putting this hashing power on the network?  Is it KNC?
2000 MM?  Source please.
Last jump was under 400, bitcoinwisdom projects 500MM.

What are the options?
the Antminer family of products
Cointerra testing
Private hashing

I just hope it's something we already factored in..

37  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Bitmain AntMiner U1 Tips & Tricks on: January 13, 2014, 04:24:15 AM
The anker hub can smoothly run 6 antminers at 0981/2ghs, or 12 ghs total and a fan in the bottom port.  Been solid for 48 hours using nwools version, however it will crash if you try to M "+" "all".
38  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Will my Antminer U1 kill me in my sleep tonight? on: January 12, 2014, 04:10:49 AM
You can run up to 6 overclocked ants (2ghs) on the anker 10 port, and still run the USB fan in the bottom port.  Nice rig for 12 ghs..
39  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Currrently willing to pay 14 btc for some new hardware on: January 12, 2014, 04:00:49 AM
The line is already into spring for new stuff, but you can easily buy 7 avalons in hand for 14 btc, about 1.5 ths.
40  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 3.9.0: modular ASIC+FPGA, GBT+Strtm, RPC, Mac/Lnx/W64, Merry Christmas! on: January 11, 2014, 03:41:03 PM
Hello with https://www.dropbox.com/s/z29x4n6ng510joi/bfgminer-npw-antminer.7z, and
bfgminer -S antminer:all -S erupter:all, it goes with my erupter an antminer but my nanofurys no more go why?

with bfgminer3.9 and only -S erupter:all i see my nanofury and my erupters.

without zadig.

how my nanofury, erupters and antminers go on windows???

setup :

1* dlink 10 port usb hub  -> 2 erupters and 2 nanofurys   3.5A power
1* delock 7 port hub -> 3 antminer 3.5A power
and individual an two differnt usb ports on my pc
so i have enough power i think.

Could someone please explain to me how to use the binaries?  I downloaded them, but I have no idea what to do with them now that I have them.  I am trying to run some U1's on an anker 9 port hub, and all I am getting is icarus..
Thanks!

~D
you need to use -S antminer:all in the command line

optionally if you wish to OC them a tad add --set-device antminer:freq=0981

this will set the clock to 250 MHz and produce ~2.0Gh/sec

view https://github.com/AntMiner/AntGen1/blob/master/manual/AntMiner-U1%20user%20guide.pdf
for a table of frequencies

ok step by step
1. i Downloadet https://www.dropbox.com/s/z29x4n6ng510joi/bfgminer-npw-antminer.7z,
2. extrakt
3. copy zlib1 (32bit) to extrakt folder
4. put Logindata in conf file
5. start with cmd file with this line: "bfgminer -S antminer:all -S erupter:all -S NFY:all"
6. bfgminer only found the 3 antminer and the 2 erupter, but my nanofurys not there and not found with Managment Devices.

WHY? because when i downloadet bfgminer 3.8 or 3.9 and start with "bfgminer -S all" or "bfgminer -S erupter:all" then my 2 nanofurys are in bfgminer and the 2 erupter too.
why not with this npw-antminer edition? is there compiled without nanofurys? but other postīs i read in this topic it goes at there

why i dont compile it myself? because i have probs with compiler in ./configure part
my compiler dont found "autoreconf" and i dont found solution atm.

I'm no expert, but maybe you forgot  in the command line??   -S NFY:all
