21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: July 01, 2018, 05:30:19 PM
I think it highly depends on how well you choose the bounties you participate in. They usually pay percentage of their ICO, so the more successful project you choose, the more you earn. The rewards can thus vary widely, probably somewhere between $100 - $10k per let's say 3-months running bounty campaign.
Recently, almost no one earns well. It does not matter what your rank is, but the payment people receive in the last few months is very small. Because bitcoin continues to decline and because of this, all the tokens that appear on the exchanges receive a very strong price reduction. Up to 10 times less than the price that was at the ICO.

Yes I made the same observation, I am quite picky with the ICOs I invest and one is down 1/4 from the ICO price and the other one even 1/10th of the ICO Price. If it continues more people might stopp investing in ICOs and future bounty project will pay out even less than today
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: weak period for cryptocurrency, do you agree? on: July 01, 2018, 05:24:11 PM
Yes, the current cryptocurrency is in a difficult period. Many outsiders attack the cryptocurrency and many hackers attack the trading platform. This has caused a large number of investors to fear the market!

I completely agree with this point of view, last year everyone was so excited about crypto but then so many hacks happen and on top all these unclear directions regarding regulations. Some sinister minded people have stopped the crypto revolution...at least for now it seems
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better a Long term or Short term investment? on: July 01, 2018, 05:18:40 PM
If we have established ourselves in an option, in this case short term or long term, it is likely to panic almost zero percent. We already know the consequences of each of the two options. For long term, they are able to hold their coins for a long time. So they certainly are not too worried if the market is bad. And there's a chance they'll buy more coins. As for short term, especially if they are daily traders, if the market conditions are bad and continue to fade. It could be a disaster for them. And here, I am a long term type, because it's easier and less troublesome.

Totally agree with all these points, and try to stay away from short term trading, also in fact I already got burned and that was even during the bull market, when you are new and just follow the trend you can loose a lot very quickly and might never find out why...some whale dumps a bunch of coins and you‘re in the double digit losses
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better a Long term or Short term investment? on: June 22, 2018, 10:53:34 AM
To be a day trader you need a lot of experience and strong nerves. This is a very difficult job foe newbie  and a beginner just can not cope with it, or rather can not cope with itself and 99% of all beginners in day trading just lose money . Usually after that most of them is ending with any trades, because they don't have money anymore for trades after their loses.
Therefore, it is better for a beginner to use long holding. For a beginner, in fact, this is the only way out, because it will take time to learn something and if some coins will grow more you can make profit.

I agree, it’s very hard to profit as day trader, however going long with solid coins BTC and ETH you can‘t do anything wrong in the moment as almost anything is 80% down from ath and in the long run it will adjust again
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better a Long term or Short term investment? on: June 22, 2018, 10:49:57 AM
That depends on the tactics of each and every stage of the market. For example, when the whole market is red, you can still make a profit by short waves, in addition you can invest in part of long-term investments.
I think both are better investments but the term investment really depends on the type of coin you are holding. If you are holding Bitcoin or ETH, you should hold your portfolio for long and this long term investment will always pay off. However if you invest in Litecoin or in ripple, you can hold the crypto for short and can earn some good money in the matter of few days.

With BTC and ETH you can‘t do anything wrong in the moment but I want to see how you earn some good money in the matter of few days in this long bear market regardless what coin as almost anything is 80% down from ath
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: weak period for cryptocurrency, do you agree? on: June 22, 2018, 10:39:11 AM
The whole market is part of a bigger picture. Big games, big players. We are just going along for the ride here. The smart thing now would be to buy cheap coins/tokens that you believe will last long and wait for them to recover (We would recommend PoS coins,as we believe they are the future of cryptocurrencies, until an even better one comes out) and invest in them for the long term. It's painful and unnecessary to try to day trade in this market and you shouldn't waste your time and effort on it. Instead you should focus on long lasting projects.

Good point regarding POS coins, anything that creates passive income like these coins can help you during these periods were values continue to decrease but you can stay a bit more relaxed if your coin creates some revenue in return
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: June 22, 2018, 10:31:07 AM
Your earnings will increase if you hold onto the bounties that you have earned.
Many times when bounties are first distributed, they usually get dumped immediately by the majority of the bounty hunters.
If you hold onto them and wait until developments of the coin are released, your earnings could be significantly higher.

When a token gets listed at an exchange the bounty hunters make only a small amount of the potential buyers and sellers so their impact is often not that big. If you support a great project that goes x5 on the first trading day then bounty hunters can sell all at once and there is still more demand
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks is accepting Crypto! on: June 22, 2018, 10:26:25 AM
I read about Starbucks and Crypto a bit and found out that Starbucks had already offereed Bitcoin payments in the past but decided to discontinue again, wondering what triggered them to give it another try
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks is accepting Crypto! on: June 22, 2018, 03:02:09 AM
That‘s a good development but I don‘t undertand why they have to use that Zeex app, why not accept 2-3 common used crypto currencies tobmake it easy...?
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: June 22, 2018, 02:49:17 AM
Hi guys.

Out of curiosity, what are you earning with bounty campaigns?
I think I'm somewhere near 1K USD/month, but I guess there have to be people here who are earning lots more.

Kind regards
Wow, 1K USD / month is pretty big. my income is uncertain due to payment delay from a project but if asked how much my income from 1 project is on average 2K USD.

That makes less than 500 per month, even as a full member. I heard people saying they are able to quit their jobs doing only this. Seems hard to believe. Did the rewards decrease a lot during the downturn?
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most alts are worth Zero on: June 22, 2018, 02:46:07 AM
The market has realized most of these coins are worth nothing and the promoters have no intention of developing the ecosystems

Could be possible, many alts are falling and falling without a bottom in sight and I guess this bear market will shake out many weak projects who are not committed to create something or stick to their roadmaps
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Punishment for ICO for being scammed. on: June 22, 2018, 02:43:25 AM
Is there any posible way to filter who are going to make an ICO to be able to know if there are scam or not? And is there any bodies of law that would be able to punish them once they turn into scam. And what punishment should be given upon committing such the crime?

In any industry much more those who are online in nature there will always be people who are using their talents, skills, abilities and creativity in order to fool and grab money from other people...and we are helpless in actually changing their mind so that the best thing to do is for us to be always be careful. This is one ground why many countries are regulating (and even banning) the help of an ICO because regulators feel that they must protect their citizens against the possible scams. Now, in my view the best way to deal with this is to have  body established by the industry itself to screen ICOs so that "investors" would not be deprived of their money and time. The famous Vitalik Buterin suggested the DAICO platform which has mechanism to protect the ICO participants and I think that it should be required of all ICOs...but then again in a decentralized market there is a problem as to who will implement it as we all here on a voluntary basis. We need regulations with the view to protect the investors but not to kill the platform and self-regulation is the best way.

I have not heard about a DAICO platform before, does it work similiar like Escrow where the funds are in a secure, 3rd party place and can only accessed if the project delivers? That would be one good idea...
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: June 22, 2018, 02:39:18 AM
Disclaimer: The text below is a personal opinion of the author. If you have a different opinion, please share it

ICO causes more and more distrust - thanks to the scammers. At this point, companies that produce and sell tokens are more focused on the product. The product is being developed and improved. And all before the token sale.

The fact is: those companies that enter the token market with a readymade product are more trustworthy. Now, few people are interested in a company that launches ICO just to make a name and earn a lot of money.

ICO is a serious campaign. It requires great resources and professionalism.

There are many companies on this path. Recently, Pavel Durov announced the creation of a light wallet and the release of the Gram token on the Telegram platform. Here is another example - KickCity, a company that has existed for two years. KickCity is engaged in the development of the event industry and issues a KCY token for further expansion of the company.

What is more, you can get tokens for testing KickCity beta. You can get reward for testing this platform https://kickcity.io/event/5a9d11030cf2cac8e081f3e8

ICOs scamming people will always be a problem but it affects a small percentage of ICOs. I see a problem that is bigger as it affects the majority: Incompetent teams that can‘t deliver and ICO as a funding but havecnot achieved anything and will never achieve anything (burning money is not an achievement)
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: weak period for cryptocurrency, do you agree? on: June 12, 2018, 07:01:24 AM
I think this is the most sluggish period since I joined the crypto currency. what your opinion?
What caused it?
We are in a bear market again and almost all coins drops so hard today. There might be a price manipulation since January 2018 and this is why the market drops so hard. In this kind of market patience is very important, I hope that bitcoin will not go down deeper to $5k level again.
Have patience, just go with your own decision. The present time can be considered as a buy time, and some consider losing tends to sell. Similar pattern of growth took place previously, price went as low as $6500 and then started to recover and reached around $9700 and stabilized around the $7500 range. This time too similar thing can happen.

You seem to be confident that there is a buying time now but what makes you so sure? After all btc could drop to 5k and then you would lose 20% if you go in now.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which is better a Long term or Short term investment? on: June 12, 2018, 06:57:48 AM
At the moment, only short-term investments help not to lose big sums. Therefore, use this if you are able to pick up the moment to go out, at your choice of coins from ether to Cardano.

How do you invest short term, are you talking about ICOs or are you just taking profits from existing investments or are you more acting like a day trader? Curious to hear your methodology.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the crypto market recover? on: June 12, 2018, 06:50:39 AM
Predictions say that from 2020 will be rocket new start of crypto, until January 2020 will be market lower and lower, we have to get ready for this.

I don‘t see how anyone could predict what happens in 2020, experts have already a hard time predicting what is going to happen in the next month. Long term crypto will certainly rise again but we could face a bear market for years just like in 2014
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Social media bounties are worth it or not? on: June 12, 2018, 06:40:00 AM
I would say they are not worth. I participate in many twitter social media bountys. Some of them from the beginning. But the stakes you receive there are always like 20$¨or less. So for just retweeting maybe not such a lot of work. But some of them also require to do own post about the project.

Can you specify for what time frame you received this 20 dollars, did you do the campaign a month, a week, or a day? If it was per day it is not that bad at all.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why red again. It should slowly turn green on: June 12, 2018, 06:35:10 AM
Yes, we were all counting on that. But we cannot predict how the market behaves. A time when bitcoin soared to 15000$, shocked the investors and now when it is trading below 7000$, also comes as a shock to us. Also, I think with the advent of the altcoin flood, many have become day traders. They no longer believe in holding the coin rather believe in selling by the day end to make some immediate profits. I think that is also affecting the market.

I made the same observation, I also think it‘s plausible that people turning into day traders instead hodl has affected the prices too, someone has to pay the price if others profit
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why red again. It should slowly turn green on: June 12, 2018, 06:32:14 AM
Expect a major bloodbath this coming weeks.

As far as i know a lot of events will happen this coming July - November so expect a huge impact of your investment and ROI. Better to HODL now than to lose the upcoming train.

If you are certain a bloodbath is coming then why do you recommend to hodl instead of casing out orcat least move your positions into Thether? I guess You don‘t really believe your predictions
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you a bounty hunter .. ?? on: June 12, 2018, 06:12:24 AM
Yes i am a bounty hunter and i am in a hard part of bounty hunting. I create content and this is not easy to do.
Meanwhile scammers are trying to steal my works and this is getting more time to create content.
Bounty structure is changing and i am in the trusted part of bounties.

I haven‘t done content yet but I think it‘s great if you have experience in this market, but it‘s discouraging if your work is getting stolen. Do you mean someone copys your content?
