In the current situation, of course day trading is more acceptable, although the profit will be minimal, because the average percentage of growth is about 5%. But nevertheless this is at least something in contrast to the expectations of a bullish trend and regular losses.

Both tools are very good. But you must clearly understand when you should use each of these tools. In a falling market, you can not use a long-term holding, because it can lead to losses. With the growing market it is not rational to use a short-term holding, because you don't get all the possible profits. You must understand it and choose the right tool.

Well, that depends on the profit you'd like to get) If you want to get money fast - choose a short-term, overwise if you're interested in getting much more, I recommend a long-term. If you're interested in my advise where to invest, I should mention Kelvin) Multiple blockchains with different consensus algorithms, token types, and assignments will be available. The multichain technology allows creating almost an unlimited potential for speed and productivity. Kelvin Blockchain can launch up to 2^64 subchains - more available subchains will benefit in increased speed and security. Check it out)

In my opinion, long-term investment is more profitable and reliable in cryptocurrency. It will not let you make a lot of mistakes when you panic want to sell coins falling.

It depends on what is closest to you. If you have the knowledge, the time, the strength to learn the growth and fall of the Crypto-graphic charts, do it day and night, read the news, then choose short-term investments, you can make more profit, but the risks are great. If this is not for you, then choose a long-term investment. You can just look at the courses of the Crypto-currency, making certain conclusions, when to sell the coins.

In todays conditions only long term may be profitable. Only if you manage to get something which is pumped (like Quarkchain) you may perform short-term.

For those who experienced investing in criptocurrency, our market are already go back in the normal situation. Noting to worrt or ba panic. But for those who had currently invested are you afraid when you woke up and you try to look in the market and all criptos slowly falling down. What are you going to do?  Hold or Sell?

Can you give me an advice what is the best way to invest?

What do you choose a long term investment or a short time investment?

Thank you in advance.

I think investing in the long run or short is equally good but with the short term I think is too risky and indeed quickly get a good profit, but better if you invest in the long term because with the long-term can see prices up and down and with so can get a good profit with long-term

To each his own, who knows how to conduct day trading and on time to go out, it is certainly more convenient to look for coins pumps with a small price. But practically all investors work for hold, so there is less risk and more probability to receive immediately greater profit.

That depends on the tactics of each and every stage of the market. For example, when the whole market is red, you can still make a profit by short waves, in addition you can invest in part of long-term investments.
I think both are better investments but the term investment really depends on the type of coin you are holding. If you are holding Bitcoin or ETH, you should hold your portfolio for long and this long term investment will always pay off. However if you invest in Litecoin or in ripple, you can hold the crypto for short and can earn some good money in the matter of few days.

With BTC and ETH you can‘t do anything wrong in the moment but I want to see how you earn some good money in the matter of few days in this long bear market regardless what coin as almost anything is 80% down from ath

To be a day trader you need a lot of experience and strong nerves. This is a very difficult job foe newbie  and a beginner just can not cope with it, or rather can not cope with itself and 99% of all beginners in day trading just lose money . Usually after that most of them is ending with any trades, because they don't have money anymore for trades after their loses.
Therefore, it is better for a beginner to use long holding. For a beginner, in fact, this is the only way out, because it will take time to learn something and if some coins will grow more you can make profit.

I agree, it’s very hard to profit as day trader, however going long with solid coins BTC and ETH you can‘t do anything wrong in the moment as almost anything is 80% down from ath and in the long run it will adjust again

If I see some large teams and advanced products, I will choose to hold their tokens for a long time. I think this will maximize my profits! But most of the cryptocurrencies will still choose short-term trading, because the funds will be more secure, and my investment ratio is generally 1:5 (1 long-term holding, 5 short-term trading)!

If we have established ourselves in an option, in this case short term or long term, it is likely to panic almost zero percent. We already know the consequences of each of the two options. For long term, they are able to hold their coins for a long time. So they certainly are not too worried if the market is bad. And there's a chance they'll buy more coins. As for short term, especially if they are daily traders, if the market conditions are bad and continue to fade. It could be a disaster for them. And here, I am a long term type, because it's easier and less troublesome.

You are going to make much profit if you are going to focus on short term trading in this year. This year 2018 is only about dip and a small percentage of recovery so your long term holdings will never really give you profit at all. But I'm sure that next year things will change and it will favor long term investments again.

I prefer and think the long term investment is better than short term because in long term you make a reasonable amount of profit on your investment as the price would have multiplied than it will on short term even if the market falls, you need not worry as the price will rise again when the market recover.

I think that long-term investment and short-term investment each have their own advantages. Long-term investment is the way to maximize profits. Short-term investment is the way to reduce investment risks. Which one to choose should be decided according to market changes! Random adaptation is the right investment method for our investors!

Long term invest is an ideal option if you want to succeed in long run. But if you are new trader and want to learn trading tricks I will suggest you to start from short term investment by setting few goals. For example if you buy a certain altcoin for 10K $ and set a target that I will sale if I am getting 2K $ profit or something like that. But in this case you have to research properly about the market before selecting any crypto currency.

I am not sure that the newbie should start with the short-time trading. As I think, he should better invest in good cryptos and go on learning a lot about trading tricks.

The best way is the method that gives to you the greatest profits, for example I am really bad at trading and I know I'm really that bad despite my best efforts, so it will be a great mistake for me to try to be a trader so I'm a long term holder but the good news is that most traders are unable to replicate the profits the market gives so being a long term holder is a great option to me.

What to choose long-term or short-term investments? It is not possible to answer this question with a general phrase. For each person this is different. Those who are more calm and can wait long-term investments. But for those who want to look at the chart every second and make a decision about buying or selling, short-term investments are more suitable.
