21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to make bitcoin a popular payment method? on: August 03, 2018, 05:43:37 AM

For something that can become a popular means of payment, you need the following:
Store of value: allowing individuals to make intemporal choices on when to spend their purchasing power
Medium of exchange: facilitating the exchange of goods and services by eliminating the inefficiencies associated with a barter economy
Unit of account: acting as a measure of value in the economic system.
Do you think the bitcoin has all three of these elements? I am looking forward to the bitcoin will become a popular payment method in the future.
Yes bitcoin has all of this characteristics the only issue is that some country is having a hard time to regulate bitcoin.
22  Other / Meta / Re: Has the bitcointalk been lost? on: August 02, 2018, 05:23:38 AM
What is the nature of the forum? Is the quality post the most important? In my opinion, if a forum is full of quality posts, then it becomes a scientific journal. The forum I like is an easy discussion environment.
I think the forum is a place to learn and exchange information in order to learn from each other, I think bitcointalk still exist and now many quality posts so this can be used as a scientific journal about cryptocurrency technology.

the bitcointalk forum is still active today, as there are so many people who want to learn in this forum because the bitcointalk forum is where we learn and expose our opinions about what has happened to this forum. so we should make good use of bitcointalk forums.
Absolutely, this forum is very useful to everyone especially to who new in the crypto I myself I used this as a manual in bitcoin and cryptocurrency
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US SEC Delays Decision on Direxion Bitcoin ETF Until September on: August 02, 2018, 05:09:25 AM
I think bitcoin ETF will not launch this year because last week, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) officially rejected the Bitcoin ETF proposal of the Winklevoss twins, who operate Gemini, a major cryptocurrency exchange in the US.

25  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: July 29, 2018, 10:49:39 AM
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

In my own point of view bitcoin will fail in its goal as an alternative government currency the process will be very expensive.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: July 29, 2018, 10:20:19 AM
In the Philippines, our Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued BSP Circular No. 944 which was approved on February 6, 2017, and published in a newspaper of national circulation on February 9, 2017.  In essence, BSP Circular No. 944 requires a virtual currency exchange that deals in Bitcoin to obtain from the BSP a Certificate of Registration to operate as a remittance and transfer company.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany added bitcoin as a legal tender! on: July 28, 2018, 09:59:52 AM

28  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's all RED!!! This could really be the end. on: July 28, 2018, 09:27:59 AM

Its been normal look at now bitcoin still kicking and there is no sign of bitcoin has come to an end.

An Update on Operations at Bitminer Factory

As Bitminer Factory is approaching the launch of their ICO — Initial Contract Offering on the 21st of July, here is an overview of the work our Operations Team is undertaking this month. They are working on Alternative Mining Solutions (AMS) with technical partners all over the world. AMS will become a large R&D team at Bitminer Factory after our successful ICO. FPGA are specialized reprogrammable hardware for computationally intensive applications, usually deployed for special industrial applications, which makes it very difficult and expensive to source it.

Read the details in the article of Coinidol dot com, the world blockchain news outlet: https://coinidol.com/update-on-operations-at-bitminer-factory/

When you said AMS or another method of mining and it is ''MMU'' what is the difference between MMU and the conventional mining?
30  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still believe in btc price predictions? on: July 27, 2018, 08:32:08 AM
Many predict their own bitcoin price. Others say the price of btc at the end of 2018 is $ 50,000. And others say that it will cost $ 100,000- $ 1,000,000 over the next few years.

But at this moment your prediction price of btc is still the same  or your predictions have changed?
It will depend on the reputation, the experience of the speculator, if they are deeply involved with bitcoin and traditional traders, will maybe they can predict the bitcoin future.
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin become an asset on: July 27, 2018, 08:18:35 AM
https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/south-korean-supreme-court-rules-bitcoin-asset/

I read about this news that in south korea bitcoin is legally become recognizeable as asset. I do think bitcoin is a currency and not an asset. I dont know whether this is good news or not for cryptocurrency. One thing i believe with legalization from goverment i do think more investors will come to invest in bitcoin, but i think if bitcoin become an asset its not as it suppose to because i believe bitcoin should be a currency which is currency is for transaction and asset is not for transaction.

you can consider bitcoin as an asset and currency. When bitcoin ETF has been approved authority is likely pushing bitcoin to become an asset.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Latest news about bitcoin ETF decision on: July 26, 2018, 05:35:02 AM
If the authorities will approve the Bitcoin ETF it will have the positive impact likely SEC is putting bitcoin as an asset.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD on: July 26, 2018, 04:02:37 AM
How about of today's bitcoin prices how do you call the ups and downs of its prices still DEAD? look at the 24-hour charge on the market and the volume that circulate. before concluding that bitcoin is dead
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There are many negative issues about bitcoin, what's the matter? on: July 25, 2018, 07:39:10 AM
none of what you said makes any sense!
you say "many negative issues about bitcoin" then only talk about two things that are not "negative issues". one is price volatility and the other is some people scamming others!

the volatility is because of the smaller nature of the bitcoin market and the fact that it is still growing by the millions at a time each time there is a rise.
and the scams are happening like anywhere else in the world since money is involved and bitcoin is a currency like any other currency.

bitcoin price will not be affected by these.
I hear a lot of news about Bitcoin in my country, and many articles say that negative issues like the crime in Bitcoin like phishing crimes, scammers, fake websites that cause the price of Bitcoin decreases, I always look and read news / articles explaining about the development of Bitcoin, and most say that those issues are related to the Bitcoin price, so I ask if this is true? is it true that the price of Bitcoin declines because of such issues?
Negative issues such as scam, fishing have been already existing but the price of bitcoin is still pumping and dumping meaning this activity won't affect or influence the price of bitcoin.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visualizing the Bitcoin ETF from Gold ETF history on: July 24, 2018, 05:35:00 AM
Visualizing the Bitcoin ETF from Gold ETF history.

The infographic compares GOLD ETF with Bitcoin ETF (if approved) and how ETF could impact Bitcoin. It is clear to see that there should be some pump if ETF is approved as looking at the GOLD chart history, after ETF it just skyrocketed.

Also, would appreciate if you support us and retweet this infographic from twitter

Gold and bitcoin are not the same nor similar. Gold is a physical mineral while bitcoin is digital, this means that the digital gold being traded is backed up by the physical gold. Bitcoin is not the same hence we cannot be certain that during the approval of bitcoin etf, bitcoin will really increase in value. But I guess we dont need to worry since bitcoin is already starting to move up and it will eventually hit 10k dollars by the end of July, 2018.
It is very clear that ETF has a great impact on bitcoin trading similar to the gold chart  shows that after ETF apply the price start to pump
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Does RBI softening their stance with bitcoin? on: July 24, 2018, 05:06:04 AM
As CCN reported last week, India’s Supreme Court finalized a September date as the final hearing from the crypto industry petitioning against the central bank banking ban. It has also come to light that the lawyer representing the central bank also underlined the need to regulate the sector, the first notable instance wherein the RBI has called for regulation as a matter of policy.

38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin opening new face on: July 23, 2018, 01:27:39 PM
Bitcoin faces an everyday challenge but still standing authorities may see the great potential of bitcoin and its technology.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea: How to increase bitcoin demand on: July 23, 2018, 09:06:32 AM
Good idea but the issue is that bitcoin is very volatile that's why they are not considered bitcoin as a mode of payment
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-ANN][ICO] WONO - P2P Exchange or Rent of Any Assets and Services on: July 21, 2018, 07:32:36 AM
this is a great impact to WONO ICO that MALTA has been regulating the bitcoin and cryptocurrency investor now in WONO has been fully protected by the law.
