FYI:
If anyone has noticed, the pool up time has been changed......possibly a system upgrade or a daemon restart of sorts.....it has been reset never the less.

Good luck miners.........

Yes, uptime of 84 hours as of now. He's definitely around. He's just not responding. He has no intention of responding. He last visited BTCTalk in September of this year. As I personally sent him messages here, he had all the information necessary to fix this even if he didn't visit this thread. I must assume he saw both the messages AND this thread though.

We've been scammed. His pool website clearly states:

"All invalid user names for LTC will turn RED on Users page" and this was NOT the case when *anyone* used an M Address, previously or even currently. There's someone right now on the 1st page of miners running an M address and it's not RED. If they hit a block, they won't be paid. The pool will take these funds.

I no longer hold any hope this individual will do the right thing. After more than a year since my own situation, it's simply pointless to believe so.

It's just the diff of the network.  That's why its low.

No disrespect or any thing like that..........but........

Actually, that's not true. It's the difficulty of the pool. The LTC network difficulty is  6447969.426.

With as many miners you have to make 245GH/s, I am assuming you are using custom management software to control your farm, so you can control whatever difficulty you want for all of your miners.
Which I think is great, and wish I had access to something like that for my "micro" farm of 14 miners.

I've read your other posts for your 4MW Data center, and can only say, that I'm impressed! And wish you all the best on that endevour.

Good Luck to all of us Miners/Users of TBDice.org

Ditto "No disrespect or any thing like that..........but........"

"Actually, that's not true. It's the difficulty of the pool. The LTC network difficulty is  6447969.426."

Actually that is not true either.
The difficulty in not of the pool but of the miner or group of miners.
This difficulty is the bar or threshold for the miner or group of miners to batch submit shares or work.
If it is too low then you could be submitting many shares per second which is not necessary, uses up bandwidth and uses more system resources of the pool.
If its too high you could be submitting stale shares and miss a block.

This pool recommends a difficulty that submits 3 shares for 10 seconds and gives you the calculations to set an appropriate difficulty for your hash rate. I personally like a difficulty which submits 6 to 10 shares per minute.

I got into a discussing on Prohashing Forums when everyone was complaining about "Big Hash" miners bogging down the pool and tried to explain that even if you have 1 USB miner doing 5Mhs but submitting 5 shares per second. (300 submissions per minute) he was using 50% more pool system resources than 20 of My L3+ 10Ghs with each miner submitting a maximum of 10 shares per minute (200 submissions per minute). One guy said you make more money submitting 5 shares per second. I disagreed and said we would crash the pool if we all submitted 5 shares per second per miner. He argued, We proved him wrong by myself and others setting our difficulty low so we were all submitting 5 share per second per miner. The pool quickly got 30 minutes behind on share processing so the shares were now worthless as the blocks were already found. The Pool wiped the backlog of stale shares and added a auto difficulty increase for any miner submitting more than 1 share a second.

Hope I helped.

Now let's try to find Loshia so those of us who mined with a M address can get our coin!
There is a bounty thread for finding him and getting our coin.
We could update it, last I knew it was about 3LTC bounty to find him and get our coins released.
Maybe we can raise it if a few more people will chip in?

You are correct, and that is what I was trying to say....
Thanks for the correction.

EDIT- As far as finding or contacting the Pool OP.............that maybe a lost cause......Over a year with no communications with users of his/her pool, no updates to the pool/daemons software, no system reset/reboot....I just wonder how long of a hosting contract he/she has with the data center that's hosting the pool.

I've been exploring other pools for solo merged mining of LTC and DOGE, but the pickings are far and few in between. Most only do public pools, and a few do public pools with an option for setting solo mining.

That's my 2 cents worth.........

ltc.solopool.org - but yes, it doesn't haven't DOGE merged with it's LTC mining.

The account LTC has not been touched in forever.  If they are still around they are not using the LTC.  Hey, i'd like my 25 LTC for sure and a buddy would like his 50.  Hopefully eventually but i'm not holding my breath.

He's around. He last logged in here in September. It's impossible for him not to know what's going on as well. I know there's less than a 1% chance he'll do the right thing here, but I'm still holding a little hope. Not only am I disabled now, X-mas is coming up and I have 2 little girls. The block I mined almost a year ago would go a long way for helping pay some bills and get them toys/clothes.

I'm hoping he has a heart and does the right thing still. 1 LTC to him if he does.

Ioshia, we ALL really could use your help here. You know those funds are not yours. As miners, we've paid your fees happily because you have a great pool. Please don't be shady and keep what is not yours. We know you're still alive. You were here in September. We know you know what's going on. As I said, I'm even willing to pay you 1 LTC for your time and hassle correcting the situation. I'm sure others would be willing to offer you something as well, so long as you make good on what is owed accordingly.

SO sad..............another "M" address found a block and made a donation to the pool............

So strange... as a previous post indicated, at least one prior M address had been paid. I wonder why he changed it back. Now that really does seem dirty.

Is XMR-Stak the best miner to use for this algo or are there faster miners without a Dev fee?

Which miners are people using for this algo besides XMR-Stak?

Hi cryptodredge,

I gave you merit and now you have the Member rank.
You can have hyperlinks in your signature now to promote your miner.

I would be happy if you could give me a merit too.

Best regards,

I gave you the + for helping! A little reach-around? Smiley Cheers!

Another "M" address found a LTC block, and did not get credit/paid for it. But he did get the DOGE block.......
Sad to see miners not getting credit/paid for their time and effort.....

Yeah thats me.Is there anything that i can do?

I'm really sorry about your loss today. Sadly, until the pool Operator comes around and does the right thing (I've been waiting for almost a year - 1/5/19 I hit my block for 25 LTC) we're stuck. The wallet (LUNyycVonDH9aQMZn1fxyUeu8N3yS8w7ud) still has all of the funds and so he absolutely can do the right thing and send the coins to the miners who can prove that they were the actual miners. Sadly, there will be miners who can't prove it though.

Some of us have committed to paying a bounty of 1 LTC to whomever can get the Op to do the right thing. Hell, I'd be willing to give the Op the bounty if he just showed up and did it himself. I've recently become disabled and could really use the funds.

But i can see some other M adresses are paid. How is that working?

Like that one: https://ltc.btc.com/771e7ce0d0fbf2a92206fcb85942e6a64b8e9156949a5e2895941b01659b636c

WOW!! Great find! Apparently he's fixed it on the pool. I wonder if he will pay the miners who rightfully are owed their funds now???

*********** PLEASE loshia1974 - PAY THE MINERS THEIR REWARDS AND REDEEM YOURSELF AND THE POOL!! *******************

I will ALSO live up to my agreement and pay you 1 LTC if you do this of your own accord loshia1974!! Here's your chance to be a hero!

I've read the entire length of this post and have a theory..........
On the last post by the Pool Op, on June 28,2018, it seems the OP was supposedly "stealing" coins from a user that had multiple clients, that had been mining at the pool, found a lot of blocks, but yet none showed up in their wallets. They also stated they were doing a "trust" test of the site, using advanced firmware (?), etc, etc, which sounds like BS to me. I believe the person who sent the message, was probably the person who hacked the Pool OP original account, and was tormenting the Pool OP. And the Pool OP reply post, I could sense frustration from the Pool OP, just how the wording was and the context of the message(s).
The Pool OP, has stated many, many time that "M" addresses are not supported, which I assume is a MultiSig address, which the pool does support, but ONLY if it starts with "3" and NOT "M". It doesn't exactly "M" addresses are not supported, only if they start with "3".
So...........I think, and it's just my opinion, that the Pool OP just got fed up with all the constant reminder of the "M" address issues, the constant PM's from users (legit and non legit), and most importantly, defending themselves against false accusations of supposedly "stealing" coins from users of the pool.... Got really pissed off, and just started ignoring replies, but yet, still reading posts on here.
That's it in a nutshell, my "theory".........I might be close to the truth, or I maybe way off base.......and maybe, just maybe, there is some other underlying reason(s) there is no communication from the Pool OP.

So.........IF the Pool OP reads this post, I would like to get a PM from them........

Thanks for taking the time to read this post......

Good insight there as well. The funds remain in the pool wallet. None have been moved out that I can tell. They remain there and so I'm not assuming they are stolen... simply being held. My problem with changing my wallet address and not being paid on 1 block (I've hit a LOT of blocks both before and after the one in question) is that while I was mining to the multisig address, the pool did not report the address in red which lead me to believe all was fine with it. I had several bits of reliable qualifying information that only the miner of that block could have, including the email notification address, the DOGE wallet address and my rig ID  all of which stayed the same before and after the incident. That should be perfect for identifying me as the valid owner of the coins from that block.

According to https://miningpoolstats.stream/litecoin

http://ltc.tbdice.org/ is hosted in BULGARIA

also...

this pool is built on ckpool codes, which probably needs regular updates......

.... perhaps Con Kolivas (owner of ckpool) knows the OP's wherabouts or help send a message to the OP.

I reached out to him and Kolivas says he's never really had much interaction with him and doesn't know how to reach him.

Maybe it's just coincidence... but the date of last activity for he/she is on the 23rd... which corresponds to the post in this thread about the newest block to be mined by an M address. I would assume he/she would have seen the thread at least once in 10 months (and beyond) and is just not going to do any thing.

I have not had a response from my message to Iosha as of yet.

As you can see, the last time the OP was active, was on the Sept. 23.
Either the OP is ignoring PM's, for what ever reason, or just does not care. Just my 2 cents worth.

When I first found TBDice solo mining pool, I found it odd that there was no way to contact the site at all. No support email, not even a link to this forum.

So.....whatever it's worth.........TBDice Pool OP, please respond.

Thanks.

Thank you for the information!!! I sent him a message just a few minutes ago asking for the owed funds and with the 3 different forms of proof that I was the miner. Hopefully he's honorable and pays the coin owed. If he does, I will reach out and get your LTC address to send you your reward! Smiley

I really appreciate the help @OldSchoolCPU!

Well, sadly, another block was mined this morning using an M address. I wonder how long before the miner shows up here only to find out he/she won't be paid for their efforts today.

My offer still stands. I will pay 1 LTC to anyone who can get this pool operator on to BitcoinTalk to resolve and pay these mined blocks.

the only issue I have with the pool so far is that it does not accept my doge address for the MM - I know the address is valid as I drop Doge in it from ViaBTC MM all the time and it works just fine.

after half an hour of searching I found this:

Hi,
Try x:DOGE_ADDRESS - put x: infort of your doge address. if it is not working again, please PM me both LTC and doge address. i will process all doge payouts manually.
Best
Loshia

this worked now says "self" for MM but with OP MIA - makes me wonder how long we can trust this pool to stay up and and keep paying people.

You shouldn't trust this pool... as far as I can tell, it's been flying without a pilot for months.

It's sad when you see people still mining to M address:

MChJZh9D7iQa8PtVAQkRUb3u1BzwVqe2YN   Self   3.59G / 0.001%   3.17G / 0.054%   2.91G / 0.157%   5.59G / 0.240%   9.41G / 0.265%   547679.87239

Not that he's going to hit a block at 3.59G - but in the 1:1000000000 chance he does... imagine how he'll feel to see this thread as he goes searching for why he hasn't/won't be paid.

I haven't heard or seen anything from anyone indicating he/she has resurfaced. I am still willing to provide the 1 LTC bounty if anyone is able to establish contact with the Pool Operator and the funds are successfully returned to me.

I currently am mining with 22G hash rate. I am the 3be miner. I have not hit a block in 67 days.  I typically hit one in 20 days but the longest was 35. I am nervous to change to a pool because I feel like I will hit a block the second I do. I have hit 8 DOGE blocks since my last LTC.

Difficulty went to 12.1M today... hard hit at 22G. It's been months since I mined at TBDice with any real effort... but I see there is one miner who has been spending a ton of money renting 2-3Th/s and hitting. Yesterday he hit 10 blocks and made some profit... today, not so much.

It's really sad that this pool Op has gone MIA and not responding to these posts. My bounty of 1 LTC still stands to whomever can get the Op here and resolve the matter of M address blocks and sending the 24.85 LTC on to the proper people, including myself.
