Yes, it's going to be the main server.

This is how it would work in principle:

You can decide to invest in whichever coin's masternode that you desire.

You would go to the APIS platform, buy APIS coins which gives you access to masternode investment system in the platform.

Once you choose the type of coin and how much APIS you want to put towards it, you can set up a masternode.

After the masternode is active, you can get rewards based on that coin's ROI. The reward can be withdrawn through APIS or other coins, so in addition to the APIS masternode it allows some hedging against potential up/downs.

While this may not be so different from setting up your masternode, APIS has some major benefits:

1. The entire operation is relatively decentralized- there is no need to "give" your coin to some stranger's hands

2. No need to set up servers and satisfy network requirements as APIS will do this for you

3. You have a range of masternode coins that you can invest on freely

4. You do not have to have a huge principle investment(i.e. 1000DASH) to form a masternode, but your ROI will be the same.

5. You can withdraw your coins anytime you want- which is not true for masternode brokers existent on the market today.

When you form a masternode with your APIS tokens, you will be given options on the size of your masternode based on how many APIS tokens you hold.

I am not sure if I understand your question correctly but I will try to answer what I think your question is.

APIS is a investment tool/platform through which you can invest in masternodes of other coins.

In order to use the APIS platform, you will need to buy APIS tokens (from exchanges or at the platform, up to you).

After you buy APIS tokens you will be shown different masternode pools that you can join.

If you choose join and form a complete masternode, you will get principle+reward after the masternode reward time has passed for that specific coin that you invested in.

Therefore, your APIS tokens will be locked for however long it takes for your masternode to give you a reward.

If you choose to withdraw before the reward time(block), you will still get your principle investment but not the reward.

Yes, so how it works is that a bigger masternode would be given higher masternode returns. The largest masternode would get 20% more returns compared to the regular 50,000 APIS masternode.

No problem. The public presale is a capped, whitelisted sale with a lower cap of 400 QTUM and an upper cap of 2000 QTUM.

ICO is a sale without a lower cap, although there is likely an upper cap for the first few hours or so.

Other than that, there are no differences (in the sense that you are exchanging QTUM with APIS). Both sales will be conducted through our smart contract.
