If Bitmain is able to push out all the GPU miners just like that for this blake2b algorithm is it then likely that they will do this for other algorithms as well and step by step push out the GPU miners from the mining?
Seems you are new to mining. Because that ASIC thing is happening for 5 years or more. GPU's push up CPU's out of the game, and than ASIC's push out GPU's. Newer coins have some sorts of protections against ASIC's, so it's safe to say there will always be something to mine with GPU's. Ethereum is still resisting ASIC's and it's so important and popular. |

bitcoin is a currency that is treated like a commodity by some people because they forget or don't even know what the purpose of bitcoin has always been!
Those people add a lot to the issue, but you can't blame them. It's 0% their fault that the fees are high and confirmations slow. That's Bitcoin's fault. |

First of all, wow, lolMiner-mnx gives great hashrates, almost 10 times better than mxMiner_0.20.1.
One gtx 1060 mini gives around 8000 KSol/s.
The issues:
It keeps the CPU at 99% busy all the time, even if you don't use cpu mining.
It does crash randomly in about 15 minutes of mining. Doesn't look related to anything, could be an overflow or some other leak in the code.
I tested this on my test rig with only 2 cards (gtx 1060 gtx) with two threads for each card. I have tested the cpu mining shortly, but without the cards.
You're on a good path to create a very good miner.

Dev-fee is too high and we are missing CUDA optimized miner. We already have OpenCL miner. So I suggest you lower the dev-fee and make a CUDA version.
Can you tell me where to find OpenCL miner for windows? mxMiner download I read about, but is it faster than lolminer? I'll test it soon. So far, virustotal says the file is 100% virus free. |

There is workaround this for Afterburner, but I suggest you download "nividia inspector" and don't look back. Such nice piece of software, it has everything you need and nothing you don't need. Normal interface and works fast. As for the startup, you just start the program with parameters (I do it in my autostart.bat that I put to Startup). Nvidia inspector can create a shortcut for you from you settings, but the parameters are easy to understand. You need each line for each card (which is also something I like).
If you still want to fix this in Afterburner, find those startup with Windows options, and click the startup option. Turn them off and then on, and then it works from now on.
