Tried it, seems like a good toolbar, I just personally hate the things due to resource hogging and screen cluter. But I like the blog/social links and search isnt bad. Addres in sig
Shoudn't have any of that with Boounce. It just adds a simple icon in the top right and it's only 190k. Also, every feature that could potentially use real estate can be turned off in the options menu. What's your boounce username? |

Ah cool now i like it more lol one of the better toolbars iv seen i refererd my friend to install it for you to.
Yeah, toolbars get a bad rap because everyone used them to spam.... but they can be incredibly useful if used correctly. I actually think they should make the ability to one-click toggle toolbars on and off part of FF. Another tip: If you prefer to keep the toolbar hidden, we also embed the boounceable sites into your Google and Bing search results...  Many people use it just to weed out duplicate results when boouncing between Google and Bing.  |

Just installed. Works fine on FF 5.0 (64 bit). Good collection of niche searches! The only problem I had was that opening the bar for the first time after loading the browser took several seconds - much longer than manually going to whatever site I wanted and searching there.

The very first time you install it it downloads the sites (in the default theme) locally. This allows us to recommend alternative places to search based your current website without having to talk to our server (and track you). Example, if you are looking for a torrent on Mininova, you can boounce (perform the same search) to btjunkie with one l click. use ful search engine on the bar. I like the part where it has Wiki and Answers in that toolbar. Any more niche ideas u guys planning for the toolbar.

Our goals it to make searchable niche sites part of the search routine. Notice that anyone can add searchable sites and create groups. The default theme only comes with 1300 or so, but you can access many more by the groups that are recommended as you type in the toolbar search field. payment sent. |

Not bad it works on waterfox 5.0 64bit if you can would be nice to have a button to hide it to the left and open it as needed.

The only thing I have to complain about is the need for a registration because I don't really see any requirement for that. I haven't done any activation and still can use the toolbar without any problems.
You don't actually have to register to use it. Only if you want to create and share groups of searchable websites with the community. I'm simply asking people to register so I can verify the user. I am the founder of Boounce (pronounced bounce). My bio is here boounce.com/meetus.php. What.This is a reverse auction for the domain name clipart.pro. That means I will periodically reduce the price until the domain name sells. I will then recirculate the bitcoins back into the economy to encourage "boouncing." Specifically, I will offer bitcoins to those that would help us test new versions, provide feedback, and add a link to Boounce in their signatures. It seems like a technical attack would only justify the need for the system. Another currency "threat" would soon emerge. Me thinks it will be an attack in the media. It may have already started.

Lots of problems.
One problem: If the work exists before it is time to solve it then people can "save up" solutions and cause short term double spends eventually regardless of how small their power is. With Bitcoin the problem is "made up" when the previous block is found.
Wouldn't they still need to devote the power to solve the problem? Perhaps you could break the problems into smaller chunks to be randomly checked out by single solvers. |
