--- Promotion is over. Thanks to all that contributed ---I'm paying 0.05 BTC to those that would give me feedback on a Browser extension. It's called Boounce (pronounced bounce), and it helps you compare search results from different websites. That means you can compare Google, Bing, and Blekko, but more importantly, it helps you compare search results from smaller sites like Last.fm, Grooveshark, and Soundcloud.... dependent on your search term. It's completely spam free and doesn't track you. I'm looking for 40 Firefox users to: 1) Download Boounce here: http://bit.ly/jAlroc2) After installed, register here: https://www.boounce.com/register/3) Send (not PM) your Boounce username, bitcoin address, and some feedback to: troy at boounce.com That's it!

Just gave it a try. It installs fine in Firefox 5.0 and looks pretty good. Quite an amount of search engines to select. The only thing I have to complain about is the need for a registration because I don't really see any requirement for that. I haven't done any activation and still can use the toolbar without any problems. I used "testuser" for the registration because I don't feel like giving out my real information for just a test My Bitcoin address is in my sig

You don't actually have to register to use it. Only if you want to create and share groups of searchable websites with the community. I'm simply asking people to register so I can verify the user. Payment sent. Thanks for trying it. All others, please send comments via email to troy at boounce.com Thanks!

Just installed. Works fine on FF 5.0 (64 bit). Good collection of niche searches! The only problem I had was that opening the bar for the first time after loading the browser took several seconds - much longer than manually going to whatever site I wanted and searching there.
Registered with the name "toast". Address: 1FvTzo8cC7czY6WuebqGWZk3CayLTmJnAs

Our goals it to make searchable niche sites part of the search routine. Notice that anyone can add searchable sites and create groups. The default theme only comes with 1300 or so, but you can access many more by the groups that are recommended as you type in the toolbar search field. payment sent.

The very first time you install it it downloads the sites (in the default theme) locally. This allows us to recommend alternative places to search based your current website without having to talk to our server (and track you). Example, if you are looking for a torrent on Mininova, you can boounce (perform the same search) to btjunkie with one l click. Tip: if you do a double click on a site it will search all the sites in the group in separate tabs. payment sent. thanks for checking it out.

Yeah, toolbars get a bad rap because everyone used them to spam.... but they can be incredibly useful if used correctly. I actually think they should make the ability to one-click toggle toolbars on and off part of FF. Another tip: If you prefer to keep the toolbar hidden, we also embed the boounceable sites into your Google and Bing search results... http://boounce.com/images/screenshots/Serp.jpgMany people use it just to weed out duplicate results when boouncing between Google and Bing. http://boounce.com/images/screenshots/SerpWeedOut.png

Shoudn't have any of that with Boounce. It just adds a simple icon in the top right and it's only 190k. Also, every feature that could potentially use real estate can be turned off in the options menu. What's your boounce username?

I actually think they should make the ability to one-click toggle toolbars on and off part of FF. CTRL + Revelant Function key, found in View -> Toolbars

Boounce Name: dervie Address: 1GFj2H1g2uvdpTmj2CVUPwkfBw6ZdnozPP Feedback: I personally find it useful due to the fact it is pretty much an all-in-one toolbar for Search Engines. Although, I suggest that you add Yahoo (general searches, not only Music) and/or Ask.com as those are also very popular SE's. Also, your website is actually neat, ha. Continue this project and hopefully I'll hear about "Boounce" in the future.

Continue this project and hopefully I'll hear about "Boounce" in the future. We actually have two groups... the "search" group, which is the default group. The "search engine" group contains yahoo. We initially weeded out duplicate results between Google, Bing, and Yahoo, but when Yahoo started pulling results from Bing you ended up with no results on Yahoo or Bing . Hence, we moved Yahoo off the default search group. You are right about Ask. Just added Ask back to the main search group. It will publish in the next push. Thanks for the feedback. Payment sent.
