21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thoughts on recent news? on: April 17, 2018, 07:29:09 PM
All I can say is that the blockchain technology will be worldwide adopted, example (Facebook) promised already to research it and many other giant services out there.
Crypto currency is our future currency, it is just a matter of time.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: do you guys pay Taxes for profit? on: April 17, 2018, 06:42:56 PM
It really depends on what country you are from, but if you want to avoid future issues, I recommend paying the taxes as long there is a law implying to do so. Better safe then sorry.
23  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress? on: April 17, 2018, 05:59:44 PM
My advice is to never invest more then you afford to lose, by that principle you will not be stressed with the BTC price, I recommend checking it once per day, just to stay up to date.
24  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Is gpu Mining is still Profitable ? on: April 17, 2018, 05:51:58 PM
You should do more research before getting into the mining business!
The GPU mining is profitable, but you have to be well documented before start investing since a decent GPU mining rig is not cheap.

If you need help you can PM me, I'll give you more details about it!

Cheers!
25  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think about new Bittrex platform? on: April 17, 2018, 05:43:43 PM
It is pretty cheap made, very disappointing to be honest, they have very good reputation and very large user base. I hope they will listen to the community feedback and improve it as soon as possible.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm gonna sell my house on: April 16, 2018, 05:08:12 AM
It is estimated that bitcoin will indeed hit again at least 20k$ by the end of this year, yet I would not advice you to sell your house, it is not good practice. I would start with something less valuable, your car maybe if you really want to sell something.

Take care and good luck!

28  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Any way to retrive lost private key (5K BTC Trapped) on: February 22, 2018, 10:08:39 AM
Lost private key to my wallet which contains over 5,000 BTC, how on earth, can one retrieve private key. Any solution?

Looks to me that you are looking for attention, maybe you could give some details and proofs first, also there should be a way to get professional help in order to get your password back. Probably you remember parts of  password you might have used? do you have wallet.dat?

32  Other / Off-topic / Re: IS IT ACTUALLY GOOD TO LIE SOMETIMES? on: February 20, 2018, 06:30:26 AM
I was nearly sacked from my 9-5 job.
I was terribly late so i had to lie to save myself. I felt terrible about it. I was wondering if its sometimes good to lie

I don't think its right to lie and in your case its something minor, but don't make a habit out of it! Today you lie about being late, tomorrow you do something worse and you lie.. and there you go, you have a habit out of it. So be carefully, it is good to feel terrible and reflect on it, learn from your mistake and try to be better next time!
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think that bitcoin can reduce corruption? on: February 20, 2018, 06:13:52 AM
In a way, it can lessen corruption most likely in the government because they can't have any say in it and can't touch it. It will make other people feel a little safe and not constricted by the government.

Agree, it will reduce corruption in the government most likely, but it might increase it on the other side.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook against bitcoin? on: February 13, 2018, 09:12:27 AM
I don't think facebook is against bitcoin, at least not against blockchain technology since Mark announced that this year he will dedicated to research more about it.
Hopefully we will see more support from facebook towards crypto currency!
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost Relative on: February 12, 2018, 08:56:49 AM
his computer was destroyed but i got the data off the hdd and i will have access to his email tomorrow

If you have the wallet.dat, then what you will need to do is setup Bitcoin Core on a working computer, let it sync fully, remove "wallet.dat" and place your backed up wallet from your father HDD.
The wallet might be encrypted and in that case you will have to figure out what password your father used. Keep us updated how it goes...

God bless you!
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost Relative on: February 12, 2018, 06:18:47 AM
I am truly sorry to read this, my condolences to you and your family. It really depends on the situation, you have to offer more details so I can give you the right answer.

Do you have access to your father PC? did your father keep his wallet on his PC or on some exchanges?
Did your father ever told you or to any of your family members what passwords he usually used, do you have access to his email?
