No sure if this post is legit because 5000btc is quite a lot of money, but i will try anyway!

generally there is no way to retrieve the private key if you only have the btc address. If it would be possible nobodies money would be safe.....but we definitely, need more information.

which wallet were you using? do you have the wallet.dat file? is it encrypted?

If you share this information, you might be able to bring some light into this story!

nothing to see here!

you must have a back up copy somewhere, on a harddisc or usb memory or maybe a printed paper wallet maybe. If you deleted your back up copy by mistake, a data recovery software may be an option. If I had 5k BTC I would probably store it on a cold wallet with paper wallet/private keys in a bank vault   Grin

Basically, what you're asking is: "I lost $50 million can I get it back?"

It would help if you start by explaining how you lost 5,000 BTC. If true, it could at least be a good story. Now you sound like a Newbie who wants attention.

Looks to me that you are looking for attention, maybe you could give some details and proofs first, also there should be a way to get professional help in order to get your password back. Probably you remember parts of  password you might have used? do you have wallet.dat?
