Can someone please update this thread with information worth posting. This is getting way out of hand.

As a batch 1 purchaser, the last thing I want BA to do is delay batch 2 orders. I also have a batch 2 order and know full well what I was expecting in terms of difficulty and delaying that purchase as well because others have suggested it will be ridiculous. Ship in order as quick as possible but dont delay on purpose.

bobsag is in china meeting the BA team rite now trying to get a handle on this situation. How about we give him a break for sec so he can wrap his head around this whole debacle before we all hammer him with refund requests.

Going to the uk*
But pretty much you hit the nail on the head.

Where about in the UK are you going bobsag3? I have a week off work. Would love to meet you, have a chat and be another voice vouching for you (not that I feel you need it). I might be new to bitcoin, miner delays and what not, but surely a random member like myself will help some of the non believers.

My Minersource order says payment state is "Paid" and status is "Complete"

Seems simple enough to understand.

I've finally ordered myself an X-1 from Minersource on the 26th December and paid via wire transfer on the 27th December. The money has left my account and bank has told me it should be with minersource now. I have pm'd bob and hope my status changes from balance due to complete very soon as I want to be in the first batch. Anyone else know how long it takes for payment confirmation to occur, I am from UK if it helps.

It could take several days depending on whether or not all info on wire is correct,Bobsag3 workload,holidays...ect  You will be in the Mar/10 delivery time frame. There is only 1 "batch" of Minion asics at this time, just different delivery dates depending on when orders are placed. earlier orders being Feb/24 shipping, orders after Dec/12 are Mar/10 shipping date.

Thanks for the info. I am very excited and cant wait. Wish I ordered sooner now, big difference in delivery. Only have myself to blame, if theres any way to get bumped up the list, let me know Cheesy

fyi a ba reseller is coming to town, well, Fareham. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=361692.msg4205864#msg4205864

I dont know if I should be happy or not about this. I waited as long as I could before buying but went with minersource. What to do now?

Are you still in batch 1 ?

did you get any info when you can expect the until at your shop ?
i orderd mine in nov at Blackarrow.. would like to know what the untils willl cost at your store Smiley

I too would like to know. I finally caved and bought from Minersource as I had enough of waiting for a potential EU/UK reseller and now if this comes about, will I best transferring my order to the UK reseller or keeping with Minersource? How will customs work out with price?

I'm guessing the UK reseller will be in batch 1 round 2 like it is currently, so March shipments and no Feb shipments due to all the previous orders.
28  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow - Status of pending orders - Prospero X-1, X-3, and Minion on: December 30, 2013, 11:47:51 PM
I ordered an X-1 and paid on the 27th via wire transfer through Minersource but havent been processed yet. Can anyone confirm for me? The money has left my account and bank has told me it should be with minersource. I'm a UK buyer, if that helps. Also keen to find out what I should expect with customs from fellow UK buyers.
From working in a bank this doesn't seem very plausible, the leaving your account does as banks take it out immediately then begin to send it. Usually domestic wire transfers within the USA take about a day maybe two to fully confirm. International sometimes takes up to a week. Then again there are cases where its much quicker.

Note I'm also considering fully processed not the pending / available (some banks show that you have an inbound wire but don't make it available until they confirm the funds), when the funds are fully in the sellers account.

Fair enough. You know what bank staff are like. Its out of my hands anyway. Cant wait for it to arrive and very much looking forward to seeing it fully confirmed.

Well, if I send all my goods trough UK, customs will do nothing, because UK customs is very easy to by pass, have done many times, by sending from USA to UK and then Lithuania. They do not check anything at all.

Please tell me how UK customs are easy to pass. I have purchased an X-1 from Minersource and curious to know if UK customs hold everything or if some things manage to get through without being held.
33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help! Has anyone been able to contact someone from Minersource.net? on: December 25, 2013, 12:23:03 AM
I definitely dont think you have been scammed. From what I have read, they are very busy people, so give them time to respond. Hopefully someone will get back to you soon though. Where are you from? I am wanting to buy an X-1 from Minersource, but I am from the UK and not sure how the wire transfer payment of fees works and how to pay all the fees, sending and receiving.

Try this:

Set it with predefined examples of what your password might be or what you think you set it to.

Good luck.

I would backup on multiple different mediums. CD, USB, HDD, old SD cards. As well as store them in various locations like parents house, friends house, in-laws house etc

38  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What kind of rig should I use for mining? on: December 24, 2013, 11:45:47 PM
I agree with the others, scrypt mining with amd gpu's is a good bet, but getting some pre-order equipment from black arrow seems like a good bet as you can always sell the hardware on ebay for more than what you paid for most likely.
39  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: So who's given the gift of BitCoin this Christmas? on: December 24, 2013, 11:36:15 PM
I have 0.000001 BTC

Yay me. I wonder if anyone will give me a whole bitcoin? lol
