24  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The domain for 1broker has been seized by FBI on: October 01, 2018, 01:30:06 AM
I managed to withdraw funds from their website, even though it took almost 24 hours, but the bottom line is that they still have the BTC.
May I ask how you managed to withdraw funds from their site?

According to 1Broker's Twitter statement they are waiting for the SEC's permission to process customer withdrawals. Till that time, they won't process any withdrawals. The 1pool.ltd website doesn't indicate any option to withdraw funds either.

It will probably take weeks or even months before the SEC allows them to activate withdrawals, and that's assuming the SEC won't try to seize these funds one way or another. You never know what they are up to when they smell money.
I made the withdrawal request a hour after the tweet, website was still online but unstable. It took about 24 hours to arrive.
On their telegram, many people confirmed that their withdrawal arrived.

However, I have no idea what happened to those who did not withdraw their funds before the site was taken offline.

I managed to withdraw funds from their website, even though it took almost 24 hours, but the bottom line is that they still have the BTC.

But there are still complaints on telegram about missing withdrawals.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IBM: Blockchain Economy Will Hit $3.1 Trillion on: April 04, 2018, 02:29:14 PM
But notice that IBM are talking about Blockchain as technology. They are not referring Bitcoin or crypto-currencies at all.

Many big companies are now using blockchains for reducing business costs because it's one wonderful technology, but they will not accept cryto's anytime soon.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [SERVICE] StakeForce - New staking pool - 1% fee (limited offer) on: April 04, 2018, 02:02:46 PM

Since no one joined I sadly need to close the pool, too many expenses for no one joining.

Sorry to hear it, but it's kind of normal.

I can't find a single reason why should I trust my coins to you /or any other random person over internet/ on staking instead of stake it on my own?
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thailand Launches Tax Rules For CryptoCurrency on: April 04, 2018, 01:47:31 PM
Thailand's Ministry of Finance issues tax rules on cryptocurrency.
On March 27, after a cabinet meeting, the Finance Minister of Thailand, Apisak Tantivorawong, announced a move to legislate to regulate cryptocurrency.
With this new law comes a regulation in which investors pay 7% value-added tax on all crypto trades, and 15% of capital gains on returns. This is after approving the draft rules.
I thought it was just a FUD news came from an article but it seems it was been implemented already by Thailand. We all know that as part of government, we are expected to pay our taxes whenever and whatever our monthly salary comes from. Though it is in form of decentralized coin and digital currency.  Government imposed taxes in cryptocurrency because I think a lot of whales and richest investor who wanted to become a tax exempted. I think it is just good in order to avoid tax evasion of either government and non-government people but I think it burdens the citizen a lot. So, I hope that the tax imposed was not too high for the crypto hodlers.
Reference: https://www.ccn.com/thailand-cryptocurrency-tax-rates/

Yes, it not a FUD.

Capital gain tax is payed now in almost all counties when you convert to FIAT.
But to get it even worst,  this is the first official case to add VAT to crypto trades. It's wrong on so many levels.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Think of These Alts on: April 03, 2018, 10:03:51 PM
Wanchain, ICON, and AION will all work together.  I keep hearing great things about the tech, the goals for the tech, and the strong development teams behind them.  Is it silly to start a portfolio buying those three alts?  If BTC bounces back, I would think those coins should all rocket up along with it.  They don't seem like coins which would fizzle out and "die".  Does anyone have any thoughts on these alts or the strategy of getting in all three?
-Rubes

Wanchain and AION are good and are keeping bitcoin value during dips. AION is having volume even on DEX like Forkdelta and IDEX.

ICON is out of my portfolio.
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to open a bank account for Crypto business on: April 03, 2018, 09:00:15 PM
If you are looking mostly to convert crypto in FIAT, I would suggest you to open a Ltd in Bulgaria (EU member state). It's known for 10% Corporate taxes and banks don't mind to GET money from crypto's. There are few local companies who can deliver you fiat into your bank account within few hours or you could USE Kraken SEPA withdraws.
31  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Still HODLing? There must be better way! on: April 03, 2018, 08:44:39 PM
I have read the article but didn't understand almost everything I think lol.
So the article is just suggesting balancing your portofolio, which is like diversity (?) which is one the golden rule while investing.

Investing $5,000 and split into 5 cryptos ($1000 each = 25%) and then change the value of these same 25% to 20-22-24% ?
..with a fixed amount of time between each rebalance.

Is it this?

Something like that... the OP's articles is a total mess and made with a sole purpose to advertise his 're-balancing service ' shrimpy.io/

I wouldn't fall on this.
32  Economy / Economics / Re: What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital? on: April 03, 2018, 08:27:52 PM
What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital?

Many big ideas failed without a Capital, including few of mine. Many times people with the Big Capital later on are buying out those with the ideas.

Having a Big Idea is not enough. You must be lucky to have in the right time and have THE Capital.
33  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 FAST, fair, prize pool ~ 300 ETH on: April 03, 2018, 07:46:28 PM
The competition has just ended, and it ended with the prize pool of... 402 ETH!. Pretty awesome, thanks to everyone for joining! And stick with us - we are planning more competitions soon.

Cheers,
Ethan

402 ETH is the amount what triggered me for the next competition.

The prize pool is simply amazing and beating even the PD past competitions! Good work!
34  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitroDice.com - Welcome to the new era of DICE GAMING! on: April 03, 2018, 07:40:59 PM
Yes, we have more than 100.000$ usd invested in cryto.

Some are on trading bot, some in other crypto like ETN for example. If someone wins more than 2 btc we got an alert and the withdraw will be processed within 5-10 minutes, time to disinvest other investments and move capital. If necessary we will prove our coin amount

Then sign a message from a BTC wallet with at least 12BTC (~100K eq.) to prove solvency. As I asked above... but you skipped the request.

If you don't sign that message, than it's obvious that you don't have anything and it's better for us to avoid your site.
35  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitroDice.Com - Welcome to the NEW ERA of DICE GAMING! on: April 02, 2018, 09:47:42 PM
Did you not combine Nitrogen-sports and PrimeDice to come up with that name ? Nevertheless, props to whoever came up with that name. Also props to you for linking an image of what your website looks like but not the actual url. This certainly helps.

Well documented website with API and stuff. You could have advertised it in a more professional manner.

Here is one for the actual URL: https://www.nitrodice.com Smiley

The site looks good. Please prove a solvency of at least 10 BTC and I will try it.
36  Economy / Speculation / Re: $7,700 will be the next hurdle on the upside on: April 02, 2018, 08:14:31 PM
Interesting I hear more people call for 7700 as top of the rally. Volume is absolute garbage though.

I also think that 7.7-8 is the top of the rally. At lease for another 20-40 days.

The volume is low due Easter holidays. It will increase in a few days.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Credits (CS) token future? on: March 28, 2018, 08:52:41 PM
We will understand literally tomorrow... CS team is planning to launch the platform Beta.

CS is very close to revolutionize the finance sector with their unique fast blockchain.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of cryptcurrency on: March 28, 2018, 08:45:34 PM
Future of cryptcurrency will be a regulated markets and list of crypto holders in all Class A countries.
Governments demand their taxes and that's it. We can't skip it.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Might We "Moon?"/ Bear Market Pain? on: March 27, 2018, 08:17:06 PM
Yes dip again, what you do now? You will sell that? I'm sure i will dip more. I read some news in www.ccn.com and I found this topic https://www.ccn.com/twitter-bans-cryptocurrency-ico-advertising-starting-today/ most likely the reason why bitcoin fall is about that. They use panic selling, and make the market red.

Yeah, people are panic selling like mad based on bulsh*ts.
It was expected Twitter to follow Google and FB into the cryptocurrency ads banning.

I just hope to see a recovery in 2-4 months.
40  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what you will do? on: March 27, 2018, 07:53:47 PM
When the market down, your account is reduced to 2-3 times. what will you do? You still hold to die or sell to catch the bottom deeper? Please give me advice. Thank you.

In my current situation, I'm holding till coins are dead or I see a complete recover.

BUT there are few but's here:

1. My day trading bankroll is separated from my hodling bankroll

2. My hodling bankroll/coins are money I can afford to loose and I'm not even following the total portfolio value on a daily basis.
