21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: alternative that rivals the ETH on: September 16, 2018, 10:51:13 AM
I think that we already have existing coins that are already posing as alternate rivals to the coin Ethereum. See waves and Neo. Ethereum is one very good coin, and one that I love, but  If the market situation keeps going the way it is now, then I think they would come a time when these coins would be more valuable than Ethereum, sadly.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we protect ourselves from scam? on: September 15, 2018, 10:57:00 AM
On our part, I think that the best thing to do to protect ourselves from scam is making sure that we secure every information that concerns us. As for falling for scam projects, make sure that you are certain that a project is worth it before you put your money into it. this should be after some critical analysis, and reviews.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Eth falls on: September 15, 2018, 10:33:14 AM
Real hard. Seems like the coin is fighting some really strong battles, and it is falling way too hard. It is sad to see the coin suffering this much, and seeing a lot of persons give up on it. I really do hope that all will be well again, and the coin will bounce back again, and do great again in the market. I still have faith in the coin, and I'm not willing to let go of that just yet.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the Future Holds to Crypto on: September 14, 2018, 11:28:17 AM
I think that the future holds quite a lot for the cryptocurrency industry. I like to believe that we only just started yet, and we are still having some baby steps, in years to come, we will be fully blown, and maybe by then, the world would be fully ready for our invasion. There are still a lot of things that are yet to be reached and accomplished.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Airdrops, How to earn from it ? on: September 14, 2018, 11:08:22 AM
Airdrops are programmes that are usually done to promote ICOs. You are asked to carry out a few tasks, and then get rewarded with some tokens after a specific period of time. It is really a good way of promoting these ICOs, and for others to earn while at it. For anyone interested, look out for latest airdrops, complete tasks, then submit your personal info for airdrop rewards.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are here still people that want to observe support the development of Cryptos on: September 12, 2018, 11:51:58 PM
Yeah, I think so. there are still a reasonable amount of persons that are interested in the development of the cryptocurrency industry, and are willing to support it despite all that is going on in the industry, and to think of it, I think that we need more people like these in the industry. People who are selfless when it comes to the industry, and are willing to give their support no matter the circumstances.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: September 12, 2018, 11:13:18 PM
I think that the major reason why government do not like cryptocurrencies, or the idea that it is, is because they are of the opinion that it is used mostly for criminal transaction by top criminals, and that is one thing that they have been trying to fight against. They think that supporting the system is indirectly giving a green card to the crime lords.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent bounty campaigns paying in Ethers? on: September 11, 2018, 01:55:32 PM
No, I haven't come across any bounty project that the reward in actually in ethereum. if this is done, don't you think that it would be defeating the purpose for which bounty programs were created. In as much as a lot of us bounty hunters want this, I think that it is a bit selfish on our path, and it is not what is best for the ICO that is being promoted.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about exchange's coins? on: September 11, 2018, 01:33:40 PM
I think that exchange coins are a good one too. they too do great and I have really come t love a number of them, especially the binance coin (BNB). In case anyone is wondering, they are worth investing  in too, and hodling, for at least some really good time. They paly a part in contributing to the growth and development of the cryptocurrency industry.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does a Successful ICO Really Require $$$$ on: September 11, 2018, 12:06:45 PM
I think that a successful ICO definitely require some huge amount of money. Okay, maybe not so huge, but at least, something tangible. Maybe projects today fail not because they are actually bad projects, but because their creators fail to put in as much money as required to boost and promote the project.  A successful ICO require money for sure.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you ever consider this; The end of Crypto on: September 11, 2018, 11:50:06 AM
There are times that I have thought or imagined if crypto comes to an end, and there is always something that brushes the thought off. The thing is that, I really do not think that cryptocurrency will come to an end, at least not anytime soon. tThe industry might be facing a lot of challenges now, but I think that it is for the good of it.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling! Yes or No? on: September 09, 2018, 12:10:01 PM
panic selling is forever a no no. I am yet to see anyone who panicked sell and didn't regret the decision. Besides, that doesn't take any of the problems away. You people panic sell, it causes a further decrease in the prices of the coins, and it is also a way of cheating yourself out of making profits when the prices finally go back up.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About how many percent does Cryptocurrency known in your country? on: September 09, 2018, 11:32:53 AM
If I want to be fair, I think that only a minute percentage of the total population in my country are aware of cryptocurrency, and only a small part of those people are involved in it one way or the other. It is not something a lot of people have come to know and embrace yet, but I see that with time, the figures will change and that itself will lead to growth in the crypto industry.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Red Period but be Patient on: September 08, 2018, 01:54:26 PM
The season is not one that is fun to anyone at the moment. I know that a lot of persons are already frustrated with the market trends, and cannot wait for all of these to be over. let's be more patient please, I trust that all of these will be over in due time, and the blood on our streets will be replaced with some greens, just believe.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin bleeding. When does it stop on: September 08, 2018, 01:33:09 PM
Altcoins are serious bleeding and we are all hoping that they stop cos we are actually tired of this bloodbath season, and we can't wait to see the end of it. There are a lot of theories that have been passed for why the altcoins are bleeding, but at this point, I really do not care anyone, I just want everything to stop, and return to normal again.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Some People Do Not get Paid After Bounty on: September 07, 2018, 11:21:59 AM
Many people do not get paid after bounties because of a few reasons. It could be that the bounty was a scam and the ICO creators just need some people to promote their shitty project for free. It could also be that you signed up for a legit bounty programme, but failed to carry out tasks as instructed or missed some important details during registration. This could greatly cost you your rewards.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: airdrop problems on: September 07, 2018, 10:39:58 AM
Mostly, the airdrop problems that we face now are as a result of the scams that we have littered all over the place. The thing is many of the ICOs on the streets now are fake and hence cannot fulfill all of their airdrop promises. We also have people who sign up for legit programs not get their token rewards, because they do not follow instructions, or enter correct details during registration.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don’t panic! on: September 05, 2018, 06:27:56 PM
I get it that a lot of us are frustrated by the recent trend in the market, and are also worried as to when all of this will be over, and even questioning the future of cryptocurrency, but I would like to say that we should not give up on the system yet, this will all be over soon, and we will rejoice and have faith again. Let's keep our hopes alive, and high up.
39  Other / Archival / Re: ICO without whitepaper on: September 05, 2018, 06:08:21 PM
This is a very important part of a project. If the whitepaper for a project is not available, it is most likely possible that the project is a scam, and people will not go for it.  A lot of persons believe that the existence of a whitepaper for a project, validates the ICO, and without it, it will be really hard convincing people that it is genuine.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have $500 to invest today on: September 04, 2018, 07:11:12 PM
That is a good enough amount of money to put in your favorite coin. If you have a coin in mind you have always wanted, you could buy with that, might not get you so much if the coin is really expensive, but that should. It's never too small, as time goes on, you could put more money into your investment, and stack up your wallets.
