Make up your mind in before - buy - and HOLD no matter what. Holding is underrated.

This thread is right up your alley:

Having read a few more pages I see what's going on now.

Well played Monica80.

probably been said a million times over the last 17 pages but based on the pics you've provided thus far (and assuming they're real), I would totally hit it. (where's the drooling smilie?)
26  Other / Beginners & Help / Just another weak hand noob... on: January 08, 2014, 07:52:10 PM
Hello fellow noobs:

So I've been lurking (mostly in the Speculation section) for all of two months (because I only just discovered this forum) and here are 10 random observations or tidbits about me:

1) I'm what they call a weak hand noob in terms of trading. But I've actually held coins for quite some time.
2) There are some intelligent people here and some only seemingly intelligent. My problem is, I can't really tell between the two. But I've noted two in particular that definitely know what they are talking about and whenever they post, I execute a pretend trade in my mind (because I'm too scared otherwise) and I would've made money or increased my holdings each time (with the exception of one instance) had I had the balls to actually pull the trigger. This is the main reason why I stopped lurking...so that I can give them props and hope for future guidance.
3) Trolls must love it here. I've never in my life registered and lurked on a forum where I've had to place so many people on Ignore so soon. The people I tend to put on Ignore are entirely too emotional, entirely too evangelical about Bitcoin or they are constantly foreseeing capitulation.
4) I learned what "capitulation" means like two weeks ago.
5) A phrase I read on this forum that I liked: "Bulls make money, Bears make money, pigs get slaughtered."
6) Another post I enjoyed excerpted here: "Don't kid yourselves though, the odds are hugely against you. What bitcoin has to offer is a parabolic rise IF it plays out that way. My position is to not fuck it up trying to pick up nickels in front of a freight train. Get in, sit down, shut up, and hold on."
7) I felt lucky to be around when this epic thread was spawned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=375643.0
Cool There's a whale named Loaded and some worship him. But I think he uses this board as a means to his own ends ONLY. Nothing wrong with that of course. I know I'd do the same if I could.
9) I've cashed out my initial investment but going forward I think I want to HODL about 50% of my BTC indefinitely (to the grave or to the moon) but I want to trade with the other 50%.
10) I wish I had heard Silk Road MUCH earlier.  Tongue

Ok, that's it for now.
