How can people make money of dogecoin? Doesn't everybody understand that it's satire? It's supposed to be teaching people that all altcoins are silly, not taken seriously.
Profitable satire. Who cares if it started as a joke, it's got value now, and the most profitable coin for the past couple of days.

I just setup two 7990 with 3M hash. I want to try Degecoin or with some mining pool.
Any suggestion will be help.
Thank you
I'm with poolerino.com too, started last night, no problems. Where the heck did you find those cards? I just got my 1st R9 270X today. I use GUIMiner-scrypt alpha, it's a pretty easy interface once its up. Was using it for Litecoin, til 2 days ago, and switched to DOGE. All I had to do was sign up with the pool, and change the host and port numbers in my miner and bam. I have 1500 DOGE now with my crappy 87Kh/s card. Should hit 470Kh/s with my new one.

I wish I could say the same. That was the first pool I tried about a week ago. Seemed to work ok for about half a day when I was getting into it. Since then, the web site is unresponsive most of the time. Also, the pool doesn't pay out. I've got nearly 500 dogecoins stuck there. Had auto payout set to 100, nothing. Have tried manual payout, nothing. It may not be much, but I mined it, I want it. Took a good half an hour just to get the system to respond enough for me to support request. I'm totally disgusted. I stopped mining on their pool and just want my coins so I can move on. The site is currently getting upgrades, they said it'll be up tomorrow. I believe I remember seeing the minimum payout at something like 10,000 DGE. you should be able to log in tomorrow and do a manual cashout of your coins though.

Hi, did anyone try to mine Dogecoins at doge.cryptopool.it? I've been mining for 2 days (off and on, not continiously) but didn't receive any coins so far. This also looks a bit strange: Est. Shares 496714 (done: 1918.87%). 2k%? Can you be this unlucky or is the pool broken?
Down for 24 hours for server upgrades. DOGE got big in a hurry! I'm using doge.poolerino.com for tonight. It has an identical page layout. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

coinwarz.com it has all kinds of handy charts and alt coin calculators. DOGE coin is currently the best to mine, I started last night.

Hello to all, I am new to Bitcoins and would like to maximize the use of my system using the GUIminer program. I run an AMD 6970 and an Quad Core I7 950 @ 3.07. In GUIminer I have two options to use both Cayman (I presume my GPU) and Intel(R) Core(TM) I7 CPU. Using just Caymen does 365 MHash/s, Using Just the CPU does 5 MHash/s and using both drops both to around 5 MHash/s.
This is sorta a duel question. Is 365 Mhash/s decent for my system, and/or is there a way to maximize both the GPU and CPU to up my MHash rate?
Any Info or pointers will be much appreciated, If you need more info just ask!
Thank you, Gandog
What? are you trying to mine bitcoin on a regular cpu? That's really a waste of resources. Best coin to mine at the moment is DOGE coin. using Caymen, is your video card, mine says Turks, I've seen Tahiti too, idk why the strange names. thats the only one you want to mine with., using CPU and GPU will kill your hasrate to only that of the lesser.

How can I start mining doge?
You can use cgminer since doge is a scrypt based coin. I'm using GUIMiner-scrypt alpha was using it for LTC until last night. mines the same way, just change your host address and your port number

I've been trying to find good pools all day. Not a single one records or even reimburses me for the work I do -- I think I'm getting scammed. Anyone else have any luck?
To The Moon!!!!! I just started mining LTC 9 days ago, and switched to DOGE last night. was using doge.cryptovalley, but server went down due to everything growing so fast. everything should be back up tomorrow. I had great luck with it with a crappy card hashing at 86kh/s .I'm using doge.poolerino.com now, and doing okay. can't wait til tomorrow, my 1st R9 270X should be here upping my hash to 470!
