21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mass Network on: February 18, 2017, 07:20:38 PM
I have left the project in December. No information.

Please, contact Alexander Kuzmin (CEO and escrow) and Alexei Oschepkov (Alexai Kontegna https://www.facebook.com/kontegna, project founder).

pianist just updated his/the mass network op....weird it seems everyone just left

well that explains a lot. maybe one should contact those guys. But please friendly
regarding myclium twitter account and alexander kuzimin accounts as well are inactive since last year I guess we will never see any progress regarding myclium and or mass any more. this is a scam and I think every further day without any action of these guys is another proof of this theory.

I will sell all of my coins for half of ICO price. Anyone interested?

Eh.  Consider the money gone.  I have a few hundred millions of these useless things, lol.  The Mass coin scam along with the Mycelium Token scam are really a shame for one of the best Android bitcoin wallets on the market.

Everybody all gone.  Bye bye.  Good learning lesson for everyone -- ICOs without securitization are scams. Smiley

Thanks a lot Mr. Kuzmin.  Really great job.  All you guys had to do was update the Bitcointalk thread and get the token on an exchange, which you said you would do.

Good luck staying out of jail in the future, with this kind of activity tied to your name.

This "company" has terrible PR. Has anyone tested the Android browser?

I have edited this post, only to remove Michael's information, though it has been quoted and there is nothing I can do about that.  It is unfortunate that Michael or any of us were involved with these folks, but I wish him the best at Bitcoin.com

Hello, everyone,
Sorry for the time it took us to recover after the ICO.

1. We distributed mass coins to all those who gave us their Colu address. Those who didn't can make it anytime and wil definately receve there mass coins. Instructions how to get Colu adress are in your account at www.ico.mass.network or in our newly set up forum/support/helpdesk at https://mass.userecho.com/topics/2-mass-coins-distribution/

2. We begin payouts to those who participated in Signature and Avatar campaign. Everyone who really did it will receive their mass coins within a week.

3. For any technical, financial issues or any other support, please, refer to https://mass.userecho.com/

4. We go on working on our products (Mass Fair ads Chrome plugin and Android browser) and we do beleive that our concept will revolutionize the whole internet advertizment market.

5. Despite the poor ICO results we stick to our initial project calendar.

Thank you all for your contribution, patience and understanding.

Thank you for the update!

Haters like DaddyH will be disappointing that this turns out to be a great investment and didnt listen to me.
These guys seem to be new in this market and are learning patience right now.
I hope they got my lessons and respect me now more for my great advices

Please stop trolling people and wasting space on this thread.  It's annoying and pointless.

Hello.
How can I receive Mass coins on colu.co?

I have just registered my new account on  colu.co, got all  WalltetPass, Private Seed WIF, etc. and have entered
my colu (BTC) address here:
ico.mass.network/#/main/orders/

not sure what should I do next to receive mass coins and or to see them  on explorer somehow.

When (how) this "push" of new colored (mass) coins happens (happened)?

Thank you

You will receive them whenever they manually send them to you.  They seem to be doing this every couple days.  Just be patient, they should show up.  If not, join this http://telegram.me/massdev and check in there.

*edit* you can see this is being updated daily and more users are receiving their MASS http://coloredcoins.org/explorer/asset/La4szjzKfJyHQ75qgDEnbzp4qY8GQeDR5Z7h2W/ff3a31bef5aad630057ce3985d7df31cae5b5b91343e6216428a3731c69b0441/0

Thanks DaddyH for the update.

I think Daniel is a good guy and has done his best to respond to concerns given he is one of a few currently working on the project while they re-organize and finalize the Mass Network acquisition by Alexander Kuzmin. We really need Mr. Kuzmin to back this project up and provide us with some insight as to how the escrowed funds he controls are spent, and what the next steps are.

Kudoes to everyone for unearthing more information and opening communication channels.

Let's stop fighting each other and agree we all want positive outcome.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

There are now 225 holders, so the distribution continues.  Smiley

I have added the extension, there's much reviews on th site and I don't know how I can earn from this extension, because there are no sign up form compare to ourdata.us ,I will experiment between the two who has the better features and compensation.

Currently, ad earning is not in place for Mass Network yet.  It is in preliminary development from what I can see.

https://github.com/massnetwork/

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mass-fair-ads/bddciihmfgjplmgdjnnekkfiefbleipp

Interesting that ourdata.us is a b-corp.  I don't like the idea of creating an account with OurData.Us and giving them any private information.  I would prefer to use Mass or BTC payments without the need to create an account.

Just want you to know I agree 100% though with everything you are saying.

I am so disappointed by Alex Pankov (pianist), Alexander Kuzmin, and others in this project who purposely misled this entire community, took our money, and walked away. It has really lowered my opinion of Mycelium and the entire cryptocurrency token industry, and all of the websites that promoted this project like ForkLog.Net, Bitcoin.Com, CoreMedia, Waves platform, and other Russian cryptocurrency projects involving anyone related to these guys. They just disappeared and now they say "Oh we don't have anything to do with this project, we don't know anything about it anymore, go talk to someone else"

They should return the money but this was our mistake to trust them in the first place.  God bless them for when you steal from people so obviously, there is a saying, "You shall reap what you sow."

*edit* If there is anyone still working on Mass Network --- you should really make an effort to communicate with the community.  Twitter, Facebook, Bitcointalk, the Mass Network blog.  Just give updates somewhere.  At least tell us you robbed us to our face rather than hide.

I decided to do my own research into what was going on for this project, and it doesn't appear the case is that they've abandoned the project.

It appears instead that they were expecting to get waaaay more funding than they actually did, but ended up so short that a lot of the staff ended up leaving. (Just in the few linked.in profiles I inspected.)

There are some connections that appear legit. Example

Alexander Kuzmin is a former Russian Mayor.  http://ura.ru/articles/1036255857

And the individual quoted from the mass group, Daniel Novichkov has ties to working in the Russian government as well...
https://www.linkedin.com/in/danielnovichkov

These people fall into place as individuals who would likely know one another.

Their former director of marketing quit last month as can be seen here:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/michael-malley-1875484a?authType=name&authToken=I7P7&trk=prof-sb-browse_map-photo

However Sam Cheng Hung doesn't appear to have quit working with Mass, or simply hasn't updated his Linked.in
https://www.linkedin.com/in/samchenghung

It appears their marketing fell through and they're actually in scramble mode to try and get things situated. They delivered Mass Coin on time, so at least there's that.

Comms need to be improved but I do see signs as to why they might be lacking atm. Especially if they're working to get their new project onto exchanges. However, the lax communication policy likely doesn't help brew much confidence for their investors.

Anyways, I hope this helps answer some questions for concerned investors.

Thank you. That's what I figured: internal turmoil.

Alexander Kuzmin was listed as an escrow holder and then the new CEO, so the buck stops there as far as I'm concerned. If the project can't move forward, a refund should be given for the full amount to each ICO participant. If things are reorganized and can move forward, all is fine. We just need an update soon.

Let's see how this develops.

Agree, and also appreciate this compiled information.

I will give it 3 months to see if they can develop the product and get Mass on exchange for trading.  If that doesn't happen, I will dig into it some more at that point.

Nexus team is investigating that some nodes have forked off the network.  Mining pools appear to be on correct chain.

Cryptopia and Bittrex are disabled at the moment while investigation underway. I would recommend not making any transactions out of wallet until more info.

Stay calm, Colin is on it Smiley

This is from the Mass Dev Telegram chat group today from one of the Mass team, Daniel Novichkov.

Quote

Hi Jade, sure! Today we are finishing distributing Mass coins. Almost all from those who have given us their Colu addresses received their Mass coins. Those who haven't done it can make it at any moment. Becides that we are testing a new Mycelium wallet build to work with Mass coins. Hope to have it very soon. Chrome Mass network plugin is ready and can be found on Chrome Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mass-fair-ads/bddciihmfgjplmgdjnnekkfiefbleipp). Of course this is an early version, that can't yet earn money for the user watching ads, but you can see some future whistles there. We are also testing Android Mass browser with the same functionality and soon it will be available for public testing. So, the dev team is working hard. As for Mass coins exchange, we are in the process of preparing necessary doc to go to major exchanges. Everything is Ok, sorry for being not so responsive these days. Thanx to your help we have resources to continue our work. But we also go on looking for more investors  (yes, we were excpecting better results from ICO) to be sure that we have enough money at least for a year. It is not only about developping browser and plugin but also a lot of work with partners, advertizers, ad networks. We are building a new way of consuming ads. We are here, we are working, we are not going to "just walk away with the Bitcoin". So, thank you again for your patience and support. We won't let you down.

Here is the link to the talk Videlicet gave at this Bitcoin Meetup https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXRY6tNJve4&feature=youtu.be

Very good presentation.  Lots of good questions and lots of interesting points of view.

I love that the overall goal of Nexus is not to overthrow or replace Bitcoin, but to provide Bitcoin with the technology to meet future challenges and to provide people an alternative that is not being sold as snake oil like many other cryptocurrency projects that use buzzwords like "smart contracts" and "dapps" and "DAO".  I think it's fascinating that Nexus will continue growing into a symbiosis with Bitcoin over time, as technology such as the LLD and multithreading with the LLP are developed further.

Very interesting that Colin is working with Vector Space team utilize Nexus for mesh networks with cube satellites.  That's a pretty massive goal, but there really is no better blockchain network to do this with as Colin has spent more time building the infrastructure than anyone else has spent so far on any other cryptocurrency protocol, and Colin truly understands the design parameters to ensure the security of such networks.

Bitcoin and humanity will no doubt benefit one day from Colin's innovative technology. I do believe Nexus has the potential to be the most valuable network alongside Bitcoin in the future.  I realize every cryptocurrency shill will say that about their own coin, but I am not talking about financial benefit for me, simply the facts that Nexus has Colin Cantrell and he is developing the technology that confronts some real design issues with Bitcoin.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mass Network on: December 15, 2016, 12:00:33 AM
That said, there is obviously progress being made, but the question is just whether this progress is being communicated.

I will give the devs the benefit of the doubt and come back in 6 months.

Good luck Mass Network developers!

In the absence of any official presence we can only speculate. I'm not even sure how much investment this project got in the last week (not that much I imagine).
From viewing linkedin profiles it would seem a lot of the mass.network team are actually full time Mycellium staff. Which makes you wonder how much resource this project is really going to see. I sincerely doubt anyone paid $1M dollars for a few files in Github. Mr Kuzmin doesn't even have a proper LinkedIn profile with any reference to Mass. All very curious.

Thanks for taking the time to check out LinkedIn profiles.  I find that odd because apparently there is no connection between Mycelium Wallet and Mass Network.  I would suggest everyone walk away from this and come back in 6 months to see if anything has happened.

37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mass Network on: November 29, 2016, 04:36:28 PM
I'm guessing Mass has been desperate to raise more money to pay the developers.  This was a bad way to do it.  I would suggest they give everyone equal bonuses at this point, and the 1st two groups get a little more.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Mass Network on: November 28, 2016, 06:08:16 PM
Just as we can't ask for our BTC back, Mass are bound not to change the deposit/bonus structure while the ICO period is in flight. There is probably some small print which legally makes this 'ok'. However morally and in terms of investor transparency - it is reprehensible.

I made my investment in September - if I could get my money back now I would. Something is seriously amiss here. Anyone who things these changes are acceptable are probably late investors (with lots to gain) or someone involved with this poor decision making.

What a way to start a project guys.

Fully agree.

This is fucking bullshit.
39  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin is in Danger among 1.25 Billion people. on: November 17, 2016, 04:18:52 AM
Actually what forcing people to buy at high rate is limited supply of bitcoin in India as there are not many traders as well as not any mining farms that can generate bitcoin and supply to market. Also due to tight foreign currency law, people can't send their local currency to foreign banks or can't deposit higher amount in international trading platforms to buy at market rate. There is monopoly on price of bitcoin in India and in majority of countries where government strictly prohibit transfer of currency outside country.

Yep.

OP needs to checkout ZebPay.com and Unocoin.com

Alternatively, locate an acquaintance in another country who can send you BTC.
