21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REBELLIOUS Discussion Thread on: December 08, 2019, 09:33:30 AM
This project went from something great to what it is today, think it's somewhere around 5000+ on the coinmarketcap with little to no trading volume, back in the days, it used to be one of the best projects around with so much hype surrounding it especially considering the fact that no tokensale was held for it, it was all a community initiative, I was blessed with their airdrop especially the voting airdrop for the Bit-Z exchange bug it's sad to see where a once great project has ended up.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: December 08, 2019, 09:30:21 AM
I know it might sound cold but I have to admit that reading up on the sob stories of others tends to help me stay more grounded and coutious, there is a telegram group fully dedicated to this, they forward sob stories from all over telegram into the Channel, sometimes even twitter and other platforms, if there is anywhere on the internet where someone lost money through Cryptocurrencies and the victim posts about it, it would be forwarded in the channel, seeing the failures cost by FOMO  has made me a much more cautious investor.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: December 08, 2019, 09:25:40 AM
I think you just mentioned everything needed in your last paragraph, you said number 8 is a very lucky number and I think that they might just stay at number 8 and keep being lucky there, the binance Blockchain is not even smart contract capable and I doubt that it would be very relevant if not for the fact that using the coin to pay for fees in the exchange removed some %% from the exchange fees for using the exchange services and also the holding for IEOs, this is why the price tends to dump after every IEO.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why every IEO on P2PB2B exchange? on: December 08, 2019, 09:16:53 AM
I think that projects there do notnhit their sales target because the exchange is now known as the dumping ground where every shit project out there eventually ends up, this is also the case with LAToken exchange, their listing fees are just so tiny and they do absolutely no research before listing project IEOs in their platform, I have even heard and confirmed for myself that P2PB2B exchange actually approach projects (both dying and alive) and ask them to hold their sales in their platform, all for the fees ofcourse.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: December 08, 2019, 09:13:27 AM
Reading through this thread, I am just seeing different praises about EOS and nobody seems to be mentioning the issues, I have some coins in my EOSLynx wallet and I am watching the price dip for weeks now and I cannot even send out my tokens to sell because evidently the blockchain is so congested that I would need to stake about 30 EOS to make just one transaction daily, d'apps are even threatening to leave the network if the issues are not resolved, I am tired of this nonsense, I just want everything to be resolved so I can sell the tokens and delete my EOS wallet, probably get out my staked EOS too. This is just too bad, always thought EOS was the future.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are altcoins going to get the mainstream like 2017? on: December 08, 2019, 09:07:26 AM
I think presently, more than 30 are already been used for real world cases worldwide, so his prediction is already flawed.. but I think the altseason is coming and very soon, maybe in 2020, things are not what it used to be in 2017 but we might be seeing another epic price movement in 2020, afterall it's predicted that Bitcoin would still eventually hit $100,000 price range and surely, Altcoins would be following the price growth as well.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: December 08, 2019, 08:42:02 AM
The ultimate aim of projects who raise funds via ICO and IEO methods are to raise money to fund their projects and I think projects actually prefers ICOs to IEOs because there would be no middle-man (exchanges) to share the funds with or to give large amounts of their tokens to, additionally during the days of ICOs, projects could raise much more funds via the ICO tokensale method, we used to see hardcaps of $10m and above but with IEOs, their hardcap is much smaller although it's almost guaranteed that they would hit it I'm a short period of time, mostly within seconds of opening the sale.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $35 million worth of ETH for a ridiculous $0.07 transfer fee? on: November 27, 2019, 06:36:33 PM
This and many more is the reasons why Cryptocurrencies are uniquely positioned to be the future of payments, no middle-man, no ridiculously high fees, no stupid laws that prevents you from peeking into destination accounts to know if the funds you have sent has arrived or not, no delays in the execution of transactions and the best part is that you don't have to fill any single paper work, all you need is an internet enabled device and that's all.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The ridiculous projects of this year on: November 27, 2019, 06:29:52 PM
For me, I think the most rediculous project I have seen this year is Universal Protocol (UPT) which raised millions in their tokensale and have partners like Brave but when they finally decided to list their token in an exchange after over a year of when private sale always conducted, they listed in Bitcoin.com exchange but the really funny part is that no jnvestor could deposit in the exchange for the first week of trading, the team says it's so that "the token price would grow organically" but millions of tokens were being sold in that first week, even with all the gimmicks, total buy orders in the BCH pair is just about 23 BCH.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do people still create new ERC20 tokens/projects nowadays? on: November 26, 2019, 09:42:21 AM
Most of these IEOs popping up still has their tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and that includes even new exchanges as well, hell even the old ones still has their tokens in Ethereum Blockchain and many of them would never migrate, all you need to do is just go to the announcement channel and you would notice that atleast 80% of the new projects posted are using the ERC-20 token standard.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: November 26, 2019, 09:35:37 AM
if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
If it's just your account that was compromised, it would be considered your fault because if they pay for every hack, then people could easily fake it and claim that their accounts were hacked so that they would be refunded.

and how i make my account safe  ??
By ensuring that your password is long and complicated (preferably 32 characters and above, mixed with alphabets, numbers and symbols and upper and lower cases) and never use the same passwords in multiple exchanges... Also importantly, you should activate every security measure in your account like 2FA and you should also ensure that your email has very strong security, it wouldn't serve you well to secure your account and the hacker could just back your email and recover password from there and also use it to access for Google Authentication app.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: November 26, 2019, 09:25:58 AM
When this post was made, I would have been feeling like we are not going anywhere because the price doesn't change much from that position but considering where we are now, I would gladly accept that price range, now I really doubt we would be seeing the $20,000 price range unless a miracle happens, it has to be a very big miracle indeed to trigger the kind of price change we need to arrive at that $20,000 target, like almost +300% increase would be needed, that's a tall order.
33  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WILL CRYPTO BOOM AGAIN? on: November 26, 2019, 09:21:31 AM
You can see what happened when the news about the approval of Cryptocurrencies in China and this is a tiny indication of what would happen when major countries get into Cryptocurrencies. I think the US Congress is just opposing Libra not because it's a Cryptocurrency but because it would be owned by an individual, nobody knows the future but if Blockchain technology keeps progressing the way it is, we might be seeing even the US Government picking interest in it and you know what that entails.
34  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How/Where to Report Stolen Cryptocurrency? on: November 26, 2019, 09:06:47 AM
If Cryptocurrencies are not illegal in your country, you could report to the police but it's almost certain that they would be unable to identify the culprit behind the theft, I remember when Binance was hacked and the best they could do was offer a reward for whoever would provide a lead to identifying the individual behind the hack, the local police would just be able to handle cases that are within their jurisdiction.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you have done? on: November 26, 2019, 08:56:43 AM
Many of my decisions, If I could go back to 2017, I would definitely be a Bitcoin millionaire now because I would know the right coins to invest in for maximum profits, or better yet, if I could go back to 2010 when bitcoin was worth almost nothing and the first escrow service actually charged a 50BTC escrow fee for transactions on this forum, the good old days.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: November 26, 2019, 08:41:52 AM
In Cryptocurrencies, when something sounds too good to be true, then it's definitely too good to be true, I recently saw a group in telegram that was offering Cryptocurrency loans with just 10% collateral, basically you could deposit 1 BTC and collect a loan of 10 BTC, it sounds stupid when I say it like this but the fact is that some starry-eyed newbies would still fall for it, afterall some people still fell for the money doubling schemes.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making money through DEX fee's. The next big thing? on: November 26, 2019, 05:07:23 AM
Coinbase is not a decentralised Exchange and shouldn't be used as an example, what you should use as an example is Idex which is the decentralised exchange with the highest number of users but we know how long that exchange has been around, launching an exchange now is not the best if decisions especially in this market conditions when even established exchanges are shutting down because of bankruptcy, DEXs are really struggling to keep up since more and more traders prefer to trade in CEX.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China vowed to "slash" crypto exchanges, bitcoin prices plummeted. on: November 24, 2019, 06:23:06 PM
It's frustrating how the Chinese Government seem not to know what they even want but the annoying part is that these decisions they make tend to affect the Cryptocurrency market depending on if the news is positive or negative, their initial stance was hatred for Cryptocurrency, then they suddenly fell in love with it and even want to make their own coin, and then suddenly they want to ban all Cryptocurrency exchanges, I just don't see the logic in this move at all.
39  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading platform with it's own token ? on: November 24, 2019, 06:18:28 PM
Nobody knows the future and we can't predict which exchanges would end up at the top but we can make educated guesses with their present developements and achievements, presently I am closely watching an exchange called Hydax, Justin Sun mentioned it in a tweet when they listed TRX, they got over 70,000 registrations during their first week in existence and they have been releasing one innovation after another, even the tokensales held there sold out within minutes even though it's an we exchange that hasn't listed  on CMC yet, they are still yet to hold an IEO for their token though, so there's no way to purchase it presently and they haven't yet given a date for the sale.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: November 24, 2019, 06:01:14 PM
If there is one thing I have learnt about Cryptocurrencies, it's the fact that it's volatile and cannot be predicted even with the best tools.. check for example a few days ago, experts were claiming that we would be seeing a huge bullish movement last week Thursday but just before that Thursday, the news about the China Cryptocurrency exchanges ban came through and the market went into a free fall.

In the midst of this decline in price if almost all coins including Bitcoin, some Altcoin were still mooning like crazy, I know some Altcoins that conducted ICOs in 2018 and up till nowz they are still trading above their ICO price, that is commendable, what I am trying to say is that we shouldn't bunch all of them into the same category just because they are Altcoins.
