If you consider A. to be a flop then I will do 20 flops in the pool and smile on each one.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Incorrect Bitcore(BTX) Circulating Supply on CMC on: November 19, 2017, 11:46:17 PM
How is this really any different than still counting Satoshi's coins or the millions of lost Bitcoin as being "in circulation"?

This is exactly why it's so ridiculous, why is this even a discussion.

These two already said what I was going to say.

No one knows the true number of BTC in circulation. There are many lost due to people wiping hard drives forgetting they had them, laptops lost, hard drives thrown away, etc.

Sure there may have been 16 million mined but does not mean they are in circulation.

This thread really should have been moderated.

Dear Bitcore-Community,

Please share this info - broad adoption will be one of the key aspects to a successful Bitcore project.

Your link to yiimp is incorrect. It is not working. You have a v in front of it.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: November 06, 2017, 02:45:35 AM
Just as another FYI, over the last three months it's been more profitable holding bitcoin then investing in mining gear (assuming GPUs). This month it was six times more profitable holding earnings and not buying new gear. Not talking altcoins which are more like gambling, talking bitcoin. Also talking pure revenue, not including stuff like power.

Ummmmm.......NO.

If you have a small amount of BTC then it wasn't possible if you have a certain amount of gpu's on a certain coin then you would have killed the BTC increase.

Now if you had a very large amount of BTC then that was possible.

I guess it's just how you look at it but the cards will usually win in the long run.

Never had an issue with the wallet.

Now all of a sudden I open it to check the balance and 0 connections to network after 20 mins. Still on 0.14.1.6

I've got 5 active connections to the network.

Fixed it.

Just manually added nodes in a conf file.

28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: October 21, 2017, 04:05:14 AM
The wallets are really frustrating, at least for me on Windows 7 64bit.

The Komodo 0.8.0 Never gets past 89.8% before it crashes (message about Java or something like that).
The Agama 0.2.0.22a never connects. It's always looking for best chain (two days straight.)

Any other suggestions? These wallets really needs to get fixed.

check your komodo.conf is not blank in the roaming folder.

rpcuser=bitcoinrpc
rpcpassword=password
txindex=1
addnode=5.9.102.210
addnode=78.47.196.146
addnode=178.63.69.164
addnode=88.198.65.74
addnode=5.9.122.241
addnode=144.76.94.38
addnode=89.248.166.91

Thanks. The nodes helped out awesome.

I guess the original .conf was no good.

Have not followed the thread in a while.

Having issues with wallet stuck at block 1,574,761 and it's been stuck for a few days now and not sure how or why it went back.

Running Windows 7 64bit. Currently was using the 2.2.2 lld. I tried the 2.0.5 and no luck at all with that one.

I am afraid to try and delete the appdata folder (minus the .dat).

Any link to current blockchain download or any other ideas?

I suggest to download the latest recent database for 2.0.5 (if you're staking, 2.2.3 LLD if you're not staking) from the nexusearth.com website and download the oracle wallet from the website as well.

Close your wallet and delete everything EXCEPT your wallet.dat and nexus.conf (if you have one).

Extract the recent database .zip into your appdata->roaming->nexus folder.

Start the new nexus wallet that you downloaded.  It'll take a little while to load up then start syncing up and you should be golden. Smiley

Thanks.

So many people think all the mining software should be delivered to them for free.

devfee is another form of payment, and works both for small miner and big  farm. Fixed price is only good for big farms,  and lower income of small miners, who will not buy paid version since can not return investment back.

well, it's his choice, not yours. I haven't purchased any miners from him, there are plenty of free miners out there you can use, even without dev fee, but I don't come here and whine about the the price of his software. I understand sp_ completely - i do quotes for various projects every week. The work I do is far better than the shit competitors come up with and obviously it's more expensive. If someone don't like then tough luck - there are plenty of people out there who are willing to pay top dollar for decent work.

Do you take some one else's quote and change three words and call it yours? Then make the person who wants to see it pay you before you show it to them?

Actually i have used templates i have found on the internet.

My point was, if you did not get it - if it is so very easy to write your own miner then you should do so, rather than whinge like a little girl who has dropped her ice cream. If you manage to add even 1 line of code that makes that miner 10%+ faster than others then you deserve a reward. If you release it for free with no dev fee - even better, but for fuks sake, stop that whining.

Then you still don't get it and probably never will.

Some of us don't care and are not complaining about the cost.

What some of us care about is the fact that he never released one miner without another dev doing the lifting and getting the miner out then getting paid and the original dev gets nothing to show for their work.

I'll wait for you and sp to respond.

Name one algo that he has added to ccminer and released before any other dev?

This has yet to be answered and I bet you won't either.

Again to anyone mining the two new algos that was just released you should all send a donation and thanks to the dev/devs that made it possible for you to mine.....for free.

I'm having issues with the current 32 bit wallet for Windows 7. I just started it and it goes to 2 years 22 weeks and always crashes.

I have tried looking for a bootstrap but can't find an official one. Is there such a bootstrap for DGB?

Do you have the error message displayed when it crashes? There is a workaround some people used on older Windows systems for the runtime error.

It is a runtime error.

"This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Just finding this.

On the Web Page when using BTC it says to enter ERC20 address to recieve Dragons.....

What and where is this ERC20?

You will need an Ethereum wallet address such as MyEtherWallet to receive the token.

Thanks for the response.

Would the Ethereum Wallet 0.9.1 still be compatible.

I have not messed with ETH for over the year now but would like to try this out.

If so the Dragon's would be in the ETH wallet then or there will be a Dragon wallet coming out later?

EDIT: Ok trying to figure this out. I am loking for an ERC20 wallet that I can download instead of an online one.

If there was a prize for Bitcointalk thread with most
repeated questions, I do believe this one would win... Roll Eyes

Usually that indicates the information is not adequately stated, you sly lil devil  Cool

Or there are too many pages for everyone to read....

M

Or that #2 post post marked "RESERVED FOR REGULAR UPDATES." has never been updated.

It's really not that hard for them to actually use it and there would not be so much confusion.

I know there is a Slack channel but again what's the use of scrolling through so much stuff just to find what you are looking for.

Says a lot without saying anything at all.
