21  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to expect in a bear market on: May 18, 2022, 10:00:06 AM
hard times shows us part of what we are made of. some of the things to expect from the bearish market will be the foundation of the project, sustainability and continuity. some coin will go extinct, others might not be able to rise, some will drop in value but get back up again and bitcoin is one those with solid foundation. also some altcoins might survive it to. it will also bring our skills on cryptocurrency ,knowledge ,research, resilience and patience to the surface.
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: May 17, 2022, 10:39:29 PM
its just like saying that because one make some investment, they cant go after what they love doing. if one wants to quit his/her job on the bases of not getting satisfaction, stress, poor working environment, low income and not meeting ones emotional, financial and mental needs that's a different thing entirely. or one wants to focus of cryptocurrency alone, which is risky but is ok if the person can handle it. cryptocurrency is an investment that can go along with other investment. so one don't have to quit the job they loving doing because of cryptocurrency. its all about time management. sighting an example of musk, Akon and others. they keep investing in other things and doing that which give them fulfilment.
23  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to avoid huge cryptocurrency disappointment on: May 17, 2022, 06:52:58 PM
in every investment there will always be some disappointment though they are some avoidable ones if proper research are done. so one should be dispose for disappointment but know the ways to bounce back and continue with the information gain. don't be carried away by the hype, invest in bitcoin, ask for advice from trusted members who have been long in the crypto space, invest little in altcoin, know that market fall and rise
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson learnt from the crypto asset failure on: May 15, 2022, 09:49:54 PM
Investing in the shitcoin should be a small investment and should be at least among the first ten altcoins. Since most don't last more than the first four years, it's encouraging to invest in projects like bitcoin. This has withstood the test of time. The lessons learned so far should help us invest in projects like bitcoin, if one must invest in altcoin, it should not be much and one shouldn't hold for long.
25  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to hold in peace on: May 14, 2022, 11:11:32 PM
it depends on the coin one is holding. investment and bitcoin and etherum are coin that could be hold for a longer while and their interest level grow, there are some coin that cant be held for more than a year or two. these are just hype coin. some of these project don't last, that's why its encourage to research before investing. there some investment that shouldn't be held for a longer while, these are the shitcoin.
26  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get going on: May 14, 2022, 09:29:01 PM
most times multitasking leaves us achieving less and not giving our full concentration to the project at hand. what would help in this situation is diligence , commitment, interest and time management. we might not have it all together most of the time, because we cant control most events in our lives. but with the little time we get, we can achieve desired goal. and sometimes we are trying to do a lot of things at a time, one can start with researching about the projects before diving into them. many things compete for our attention but only few matters.
27  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting up and trying again on: May 13, 2022, 10:46:11 PM
sometimes failing in something does not mean we get back at  it, it could mean to move on and start something else. but if we want to get back at what we failed at, our mistakes should educate us. we could start from the basic. where did i get it wrong?, what can i do differently?. this will lead to further research and education on bitcoin.. if one don't have the resources for bitcoin, what other altcoin with potential that one can invest in after proper research. humans learn more from visual learning, like diagram, pictures and videos.one could start with these, before reading white paper, then moving forward to an experience individual or reliable forum that could educate someone.
28  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to know on: May 13, 2022, 01:11:01 PM
a reward system that is given by other members base on the usefulness and contribution of ones post in the forum. this post becomes ones activity in the forum but it must add benefit and values to other members in the group through education and enlightenment. members with more than one merit which are the smerits can give this to others base on usefulness and activities. the merit and activity increases ones rank in the forum. which can be a criteria to participate in bounties and signature in campaign. this is a reward system that checkmate excesses and encourage members to contribute usefully in the forum. concentrate on adding value in others and educating oneself will attract merits.
29  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie! I've learnt to always start somewhere! on: May 13, 2022, 10:57:01 AM
the journey for everyone is different though we heading to our destination. some might want to weigh their options before either involving themselves in cryptocurrency. others might want to start with what they have no matter how little. one can join the community when the interest is there and he/she has the necessary tools( a good device, availability of internet etc.).but when it comes to investment, one can start with what he/she has but after proper research, education from others already in the system.. the crypto space is wide, start right where you are, along there is a genuine interest and grow through the process. you can be learning and also investing little by little. little drop of water make the ocean.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Careful! on: May 12, 2022, 10:55:28 PM
This is a sound and helpful warning. Because we are attracted to investing in the bear market, which is also a good time to invest but the project should be worth it. Knowing if the project will last and it won't be a dump. The cheapness of the coin can attract, but the worth or value of the project after careful research should determine If it's worth it. Bitcoin and Ethereum still stand out. Though some altcoins might survive the bear market, one can also invest in them.
31  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some avoidable forum mistakes of Newbies on: May 12, 2022, 10:19:45 AM
some of us are open to learning, and one of the way i feel we can we encourage even after we have read the rules, this can be an honest feedback. like when one makes a mistake and his/her post is deleted, the reason for deleting can be stated and the education and creation given to the individual as a reply. sincerely this topic have expose me to some fact and knowledge i do not know, finding this out has encourage me to research more and know how to contribute and avoid some mistakes. we all are learning and thanks to those who has been generous with their experiences and knowledge
32  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Educate and teach the youngins about Bitcoin. on: May 12, 2022, 08:29:40 AM
the level of advancement of technology and the way children learn about it is fascinating. but we should allow children to be children. we can invest for them and also educate their curiosity, for they will always ask questions but we have to explain according to their level. its just like opening a bank account for them, but you don't go about telling them how the bank operate or what you deposit in the bank, only when they have come of age. also for those who have the interest, they should be encourage and educated about bitcoin.
33  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be patient, don't get discouraged. on: May 11, 2022, 09:53:36 PM
what attracts each and everyone of us is different but we hope to achieve the same goal, only if we transcend our initial attraction. the forum might be loosing its essence when we only look at what we can gain and not what we can give. psychologically the reward system encourages each and everyone of us to give our best, but at some point in life, we look beyond the reward and see how we can impact in our lives and that of others. newbies want to gain merits and a lot  more, so some of us think, it could be true but even we shouldn't be discourage to encourage those that might have the potential to learn. other measures that are in place to control plagiarism and spamming is also good to control some excesses.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am curious about bounties on: May 11, 2022, 11:00:41 AM
there are some painful realities in life, uncertainty is one of it. sometime somethings don't go our way, what we plan might not be executed. the fact that sometimes we put effort in things that don't reward us or the reward doesn't compensate our effort. for a coin that is already in exchange can be a good project, though the reward might not be too high. couple with the fact that there is a lot of persons in the campaign. for new project, one just have to make his or her research, and also have it are the back of their mind that some project might not last and that there value can drop. we can also learn what makes those project to fail. our curious helps us to learn things as humans.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this true? on: May 07, 2022, 10:10:47 PM
the bear market can be the best avenue for long-term investment. but only coin with good project that can survive the dip, since its not all coin that go through the dip at the same time. one can experiment with few funds and proper research on the coin and its project. one can make both good and poor investment during this period, either because of the dip or constant fall in price.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: May 06, 2022, 10:56:42 PM
one of the first rule is , selling when the price is above what you bought it. one must make research and read chart to know when to sell. experts also advise that one sells between 30% and 50% if one have pressing needs. its advisable not to sell all of ones investment.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion, NFT last long or not ? on: May 06, 2022, 10:31:44 PM
things are evolving and there is always room for change and improvement. with the different project that the nft is bringing to play, i see continuity. the level of investment of celebrities is increasing and promising for the future. a platform that encourages art, music, games(where people can play to earn) and many others that are upcoming. the non fungible token(nft) that most people don't understand, raises the doubt. a project that build on what we already have in our midst, that will remain with the human race. it just improve a method in which we can earn from these things that are part of us.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending in fake ID for KYC on: May 06, 2022, 11:10:26 AM
what is paramount here, is the level of safety of information and control over ones details and information. KYC is important but not to the detriment of someone details been expose and no sense of privacy. sending of fake ID in some case can cause the investor to loose some fund, after verification fail to authenticate the investor. know the policies of any investment before releasing your identification. so to say is not just any investment one should invest in, though sometimes the returns can be tempting. one should just be careful before dropping ones information on any site
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Community means everything on: May 05, 2022, 08:03:37 PM
in the twitter space, shiba inu is the most talked about coin and its community is active compare to other coin in the top 20. even when the value is not more than that of the doge coin. though some believe that the value of shiba inu will rise above doge. conversations and hype increases the popularity of the coin in the community. the place of community is important, because we get informed about the projects we investment in. a community that still encourage a project through its active participation can not be overlooked.
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the reasons behind banning cryptos? on: May 05, 2022, 12:48:07 PM
first and foremost, it is not banned in some countries. some reasons why it is banned is because there is no total control and government cant place policies that control or regulate cryptocurrency, since it is a decentralize market. sometimes also we are scared of change or what we don't understand. some changes that challenge the old system. but some government are trying to understand the cryptocurrency and see how it can benefit their economy. they also forming new policies that can checkmate the system because of scammers and fraudster.
