21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% OF ALL AIRDROPS ARE SCAMS!!!!! on: October 12, 2018, 04:04:53 PM
The title of this thread is bit provocative, but the fact is that most people have a bad experience with airdrops. According to several airdrop hunters I spoke to, the majority ICOs don't pay out at all.

What's your experience with airdrops? Did you get scammed most of the times?
This is something most people are still not wary off. Don't perform every airdrop you see. The chances of you getting paid are very slim. Also, the companies no longer give good rewards for the airdroppers.
22  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshis' absence make bitcoin truly decentralized? on: October 10, 2018, 10:41:59 PM
Ethereum founder Vitalek Buletin recently expressed his intention to step back from the helms as he believes the protocol can now run spontaneously without his presence, https://dailyhodl.com/2018/10/05/vitalik-buterin-preparing-to-detach-himself-from-ethereum-says-platform-can-run-without-him/

I feel the absence of the creator makes the system truly decentralized and it can't be regarded as a financial pyramid.
Satoshi as the creator could have serious effect on the bitcoin market if he wasn't anonymous. His catching a cold and being filmed at the clinic could easily spark panic and FUD.
Now the community are the ones who control the market and support the technology.
It has actually been a great blessing in disguise for Satoshi Nakamoto not to be at the scene at all. If he was known, people wouldn't have believed the concept of decentralization as it would always seems to be controlled by one man.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: October 07, 2018, 04:22:41 PM
if i build a bank of bitcoin that operating like a traditional fiat money bank when people can save the money and get interest for their saving and also people can get a loan from my bank but the fiat money is change for bitcoin, the question is would you guys trust me to save your bitcoin on my bitcoin bank that i want to build ?
No. I won't save my bitcoin with anyone or even bitcoin bank. Bitcoin does not need any special bank. You are your own bank with your online wallet which is accessible anywhere. That is the idea of bitcoin. No external control. Just you and your coins alone.
24  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Payment processors :-< on: October 07, 2018, 03:48:33 PM
If the use of bitcoin for payment at shopping centers could take as much as 10 mins to process, then how many customers will they attend to in a day. That means the business will slow down.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is NEO still worth investing in? on: October 06, 2018, 11:43:10 PM
Is NEO still worth investing in? I have my final $150 and I'm not sure if I should buy NEO or ADA

NEO is still a very great altcoin to invest in.
26  Other / Archival / Re: is EVERY ico a scam?? on: October 06, 2018, 11:42:22 PM
Everybody keeps on saying scam scam scam for all of these ICO's. 90% of them are crap, yes. BUT there is the 10% of them, like vector, who are absolutely not scams. They are good projects that will really help the crypto community grow and its not fair to call an ICO a scam until you have actually researched it and you are sure it is a scam.

Just my two satoshis...
I can surely tell you that we still have so many good ICOs with the right intentions.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When are we going to see an era like 2017 again? on: October 05, 2018, 08:59:20 PM
Virtually everyone is expecting another boom in the crypto space. We hope for another bullish market. The question we kept on asking ourselves is "When is bull run going to start?"

- 2018 does not really support the boom for most ICOs, unlike what we had in 2017.
- In 2017 airdrops were very profitable, unlike what we have in 2018, where most airdrops just seem useless.
... and the comparison continues ...

Despite all these, i can confidently say that, notwithstanding the bearish market, 2018 has been a very good year for both Traders and Investors alike.
What may had contributed to the bad cryptocurrency run experienced in 2018 is the lack of investors confidence. No one is really ready to gamble anyone with their hard earned morning. Maybe lost of interest by the big investors.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: Which form of investment has highest ROI? on: October 05, 2018, 08:44:37 PM
We knows that the crypto currency investment can give us lot of profits even in short time but this is very new there are lot of invesments like real estate, gold, mutual funds silent partner in businesses and lot more but what you think which has highest ROI in short term other than crypto invesments.

My opinion is that real estate can be that one, since my grandfather used to be like buying and selling the lands and made tons of money in his life time but I didn't do that such kind of traditional invetment.
Real Estate investment is not as popular as it used to be especially compared to the 90s. I will still chose cryptocurrency or gold ahead of it right now.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin prices remain the same until next year, will it be good for the crypt on: October 05, 2018, 08:24:42 PM
If the price stays this way without further increase, it will be very bad. A lot of us bought some coins we have been waiting and hoping to see it rise in value. 2019 will be a longer wait than expected.
30  Other / Archival / Re: Do you think the markets will collapse on: October 04, 2018, 11:02:26 PM
Collapse definition: Market Cap less than 150 Billion

Yes or No

I say YES

I didn’t want to say yes but there is not much light in the tunnel.

As for me, I say NO. The market will not collapse. I think the worst I have seen the market in recent time is $190b, and I don't believe it will fall below this price.
31  Economy / Economics / Re: Who controls the market? on: October 04, 2018, 10:57:47 PM
Remember, this whole thing about crypto is largely decentralized, thus, there is no single authoritative body in control of the crypto market. Although there are few centralized platforms among crypto, the market is largely influenced by the efforts and influence of the users of crypto. How well sellers and buyers treat the coins on the market affect the performance of the market.

There is no one actually controlling the market. This is a free market for all. It is unregulated. It is decentralized, everyone is a stake holder including you.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in predictions of "experts" about the bitcoin price? on: October 04, 2018, 10:54:49 PM
No! No!! No!!! There is no expert when it comes to Bitcoin price prediction. Everyone will always want to pose to be an expert in order to seek attention or be consulted by other upcoming smaller projects. Every prediction this year has hit the rock.
33  Economy / Economics / Re: Government regulation on cryptocurrency, GOOD or BAD? on: October 03, 2018, 01:28:21 PM
I am still skeptical about the kind of regulations the government wants to bring to cryptocurrency. What is the government's real intension? If it is real, then it's fine.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin ETF more likely to be approved but why price is going down? on: October 03, 2018, 01:21:31 PM
Now we have 2 SEC judges in favor or BTC ETF and 1 against, the market should have to give some signs of growth by now, we have a likely ETF approved and Bakkt soon, why does the price is going down? am I missing something?
As far as I am concerned, the ETF approval for Bitcoin may not necessarily be what will make the price skyrocket. Even when ETF was not in the picture, we experienced same highs and low values for BTC.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Not Ripe To Replace Gold: Analyst Kristoffer Inton on: October 03, 2018, 01:18:22 PM
I partially agree with Kristoffer Inton. Bitcoin is still at an infancy stage. There is still a lot to do especially putting its high volatility under control because it is its major shortcoming.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Or Trading? on: October 02, 2018, 05:34:04 PM
I will ask you which one is the most beneficial of these two things? what will you choose? and explain why you chose it. who knows it will give input to everyone who reads. if I myself might be a bounty can be profitable and maybe the results of the bounty will lead to trading. What is your opinion? share your experience here
I have been trading for quite sometimes. But currently, I have decided to relax a little and do a little bounty participation. Trading requires some capital unlike bounties. Also, as a day trader, you need to frequently monitor the market which was more of my style.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs should only create Tokens with Working Product(s) on: October 02, 2018, 05:14:21 PM
Considering the investors... Yes it will be good to create ICO'S with working products. But come to think of it, do all businesses actually deals on products?....I'm just thinking!
I will put it to you firmly that any business without a product or service is not a legal business and I standto defend it anywhere. If you know of any 'legal' business without a product or service, kindly let us know. So therefore, the ICOs must have a good product or service to cater for.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters are a job? on: September 30, 2018, 03:56:21 PM
Do you think bounty hunters are a job in your spare time, additional income or is it the main job and the main income of people?
I just read a post on this forum where someone claimed to have participated in 50 bounties. I think with such persons, cryptocurrency is a job.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I join 50 bounties on: September 30, 2018, 09:24:12 AM
I join 50 bounties and spent my time in front of a computer what was reasonable..?
50 Bounties??? How did you managed to cope? Were you paid in at least 35 of the bounties? You must be a very committed and hard working person if you were able to keep to all the weekly tasks.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Politicians fear cryptocurrency because it will stop corruption. on: September 30, 2018, 09:21:37 AM
The transparent nature of the cryptocurrency industry is one of the Paramount reasons why politicians are kicking hard from all angles against it.Well,I am glad that despite all these agialtations, the industry moves on .One day full potentials will be established. Share your views.
I don't really think cryptocurrency can stop financial corruption. With cryptocurrency, the politicians can even still money to anonymous wallets without ever been detected.
