21  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn trading? on: November 10, 2018, 07:38:19 AM
I want to learn how to trade. If you want, then please give me some advices, tips etc. Links to all kinds of helpful information is also very good. Please don't write empty filler comments.

EDIT: I want to day trade and swing trade. I know about cryptocurrency, so I don't need information about that. I prefer not to tell my capital investment. I am already trading and almost all my investment is in bitcoin cash right now. I am basically looking for guidance on how to trade. I am not a complete beginner, but still very new in trading.
All your money is in Bitcoin Cash? As in BCH? Why do you put your money in Bitcoin cash instead of having it stored in the main Bitcoin? Well, whatever, it is still your choice and I should not make you change that. BCH seems to be less volatile than BTC and maybe you won’t lose much in it when the price starts to drop, just like Bitcoin will drop heavily and you will lose a lot.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple buy or not? on: November 09, 2018, 11:03:50 AM
I do not like this coins and on your place I would invest in real crypto currencies like XLM or NEO. These coins are very perspective and have much more potential than Ripple. Moreover, I do not think that Ripple will ever cross the bar of 5 USD.
Depends on how much you trust the company behind it. If you trust the company than the coin is valuable but if you do not trust the company than there is no profits for you to be made in ripple. If you look at the company they are one of the first ever blockchain companies in the world and have partnership with big banks all over the world and trying to strike deals with every single bank they can find, which means they are working hard to get their company bigger.

The coin was just one of the original "ICO" out there but it wasn't done that way, they just control all of the coins and sold some of them for bitcoins directly and use those funds to get bigger and better now needing no new funding. Ripple coin on the other hand worths nothing and has nothing to do with the company normally but the better the company does the higher the coin goes for no reason, normally people are not shareholders because they own the coin and they are not getting a piece of the profits.
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Volatility: Creeping Evil or Essence of Crypto on: November 08, 2018, 11:03:46 AM
Cryptocurrencies has only made it in to the mainstream media as an apparatus from the dark web when the infamous Silk Road has been turn off. Back then, that was far from getting considered a good investment decision for Wall Street types, nonetheless they soon joined the party.

Suddenly, banks, the thought front-runners of banking and financial institutions all had an opinion on Bitcoin - many of them thought it was a gimmick, or even rat toxic and far too unstable to take seriously, but conversations about Bitcoin were getting to be held in investment circles.

Stories of Bitcoin billionaires in addition to overnight millionaires cropped upwards, plus the individual investors overloaded to be a part of typically the massive wave of Bitcoin mania. This is why volatility was so crucial in establishing cryptocurrencies as a potential asset that will could also be used being a currency in a well-known society. However, this same volatility is additionally what could kill that goal.
A portion of what has cemented cryptocurrencies on the map given that they exploded into the public investor market has already been their volatility. Investors inundated to the likes of Bitcoin when, through Nov and December 2018, the value of the cryptocurrency increased in value tremendously. Conversely, such precariousness is a two-edged rapier, and the cryptocurrency bazaar has shown that in 2018 with Bitcoin’s price trailing more than 50 percent at times from the year finale worth of $13,000. The cryptocurrency market has also felt the ill effects of Bitcoin’s movements because of this of the price drops, Bitcoin’s trading volume, and even interest in the digital money realm also decreases. The danger is that changes can cause a significant exodus of investors to take place which severely dents the hopes of other cryptocurrencies gaining mass adoption standing.

Itai Cohen, CEO of Homelend says,
Quote
“The high volatility of crypto-assets is the result of investors’ reliance on the so called ‘adoption syndrome’ - where the perception of an asset’s value is mostly based on expectations about its adoption by the community.”

Volatility should be at the epicenter of attraction for crypto if there is to end up being a future through which crypto is employed widely in everyday instances. However, it needs a lot of bravery, plus some tactical know-how, to successfully navigate the lows, to retain oneself safe, and sane, along with contributing positively to be able to a burgeoning crypto overall economy.

Patience is the key here to deal with anything that is related to crypto and blockchain. A calm mind will always get maximum output. Cheers.

When I come across posts like this I usually feel bad, cause it reminds of the kind of good opportunity I missed in 2009 and the earlier times when Bitcoin was really cheap. I know a friend that bought Bitcoin at that time with just a little money and now this guy is big millionaire. I’m working really hard just wish I could be like him. I pray God bless my hard work here, cause I have seen a lot of people that have been to achieve their dreams through investing in cryptocurrency, and I have also seen others that failed. But the best is what I wish and it takes hard work to accomplish.
24  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: November 05, 2018, 09:26:55 AM
Before all of this method is what i do but when the mining getting rough i decided to quit and focus on those 3 methods left, i am happy and satisfied with the result of my income by then one time almost all my profit was lose in gambling im so down in that time and eagerly getting back all my loses i continue to gamble luckily i get and have more profit in gambling but for now i set the limit amount for gambling.
Do you think that gambling is also for making money? I don’t think so, because gambling is the worst thing in the world and it will destroy you besides giving you money. You will earn some money hardly and will lose in gambling in just a few minutes. You should not add gambling in this list. Two are businesses mining and trading and one is neither gambling nor business just a hard work and it is best than all.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Advise projects in which it is worth investing ? on: November 05, 2018, 08:20:08 AM
Advise projects in which it is worth investing ?
There are many projects out there that worth our investments and we should look for them at coinmarketcap.  Dav,  mozo, ubex, buddy and agate are some of the projects that I have been studying for some time now and I see great potential in all this projects . Putting your money now is going to give you an opportunity to make great profits in some years to come.
if you want to find a high-profile project, you should understand a lot and analyze the project that happened. not all projects that have high softcap will be perfect, because all are influenced by many factors
I believe every investor should at least be able to have some analytical skills as this is one major skill that will help them a lot when it comes to knowing which project to be investing in or not. Otherwise, if they know they are too lazy to imbibe this skill, know what to always look out for in a project, then they should invest in bitcoin and hold on to it for as long as they can.

It is imperative that anyone that wants to invest in altcoin should always know what to look out for, considering the fact that it is altcoin we are talking about here and there are so many of them, which means if you cannot do your proper diligence, you should not even be delving into them.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: November 01, 2018, 10:44:36 AM
People cannot be forced to do anything in their cryptocurrency against their will. They will start using Bitcoin as a means of payment only if all the necessary conditions exist for this and it will be beneficial for them to do so.
Now there is not enough developed infrastructure to freely use Bitcoin as a means of payment, which is why it is so rarely used in this capacity. So far, most states have not decided on the legalization of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, and without this the infrastructure for its use will not develop.
Gradually this use will increase and more and more people will join this world. With the passage of time people will know the importance and benefits of cryptocurrency and will put their money in it and will use it as their local currency. It is internet and digital currency era and we are going to be a part of this world. Today many people use their coins for their needs and this number will increase in the future.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: November 01, 2018, 07:19:57 AM
For luck based games, it could be true but for sports betting I think you can win more than your loss.
In sports betting yeah it's different you can analyze and have your strategy on what to bet.

For some gamblers it's possible for them to have more wins but for me, it's difficult.

It's the same for me. I even start thinking again that sports betting is mostly luck based. I said again because in the past I thought it was no different from dice, where betting with 90% win chance you are more likely to win, but if you lose you lose 10 times more than you could potentially win. That's what I was thinking before starting actually do sports betting, and since I was lucky with that at first I changed my mind. It felt like I was really making good analysis and that that's why I was winning. Then luck turned away from me and I started losing more frequently ... In short, now I think that sports betting is a luck based game. Smiley

Yes, there is no different in chance for both sports betting and dice. The only difference is the betting intensity. In sports bets we will only bet at certain times, when there are matches. While in dice, we can play whenever we want.

Well, you can bet whenever you want on sports too. There are so many various games you can bet on, and I'm not aware of any kind of restrictions regarding the amount of bets. Although I'm new to this kind of betting and maybe I'm missing something. I'm glad you agree with me regarding similarity of both, dice and sports betting, because it's hard to find opinion allies in this matter. Most gamblers think that there is a big difference between the two.
Till date I didn’t find any success in gambling. If we look at the consequences of gambling we will find that gambling actually gives nothing rather takes everything. A regular gambler never gets money in gambling because if he wins sometimes, he loses more than that next time. this is the nature of gambling. One person cannot win the bet all the times.
No I didn’t find any success in gambling. I am not regular gambler but as many times I gambler I lost and never won. I know that gambling is not for making money but when you bet with somebody you will want to win the net. Unfortunately till date I never won. No I am thinking that gambling is not for me and I should quit gambling forever to save the rest of my money.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What I do before buying an altcoin! on: October 31, 2018, 09:52:55 AM
However, we all need to remember that most of tokens will be waluable only in several years, if everything will gone well. That is why you need to find way to check long-term reliability.
To me I think that before buying an altcoin it is too much important that you should try to study the project. You need to study their whitepaper, their members, their experience and also the roadmap of the project which can give you good information about project.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: October 30, 2018, 11:59:50 AM
Now that more and more countries are starting to go cashless (http://www.bbc.com/capital/story/20180427-does-a-cashless-society-benefit-everyone), is it possible that we also start converting to cryptocurrency? If that happens, what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages? Paying virtually is very convenient for me as I do not have to bring cash and it prevents petty theft but what is the disadvantage?

If all states switch to the use of cryptocurrencies, which can never happen in reality, then very interesting events will really begin. The economies of countries will unbalance quickly, and complete economic chaos will begin. I think that such an experiment will end quickly and everything will again fall into place with a return to their national money.
I think that a time will come when all the counties of the world will start using bitcoin, I think that it will good for all the countries when all the people of the world will use a single currency throughout the world. I hope we are very soon going to see people using bitcoin throughout the word.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When are we going to see an era like 2017 again? on: October 27, 2018, 12:31:23 PM
Virtually everyone is expecting another boom in the crypto space. We hope for another bullish market. The question we kept on asking ourselves is "When is bull run going to start?"

- 2018 does not really support the boom for most ICOs, unlike what we had in 2017.
- In 2017 airdrops were very profitable, unlike what we have in 2018, where most airdrops just seem useless.
... and the comparison continues ...

Despite all these, i can confidently say that, notwithstanding the bearish market, 2018 has been a very good year for both Traders and Investors alike.

2017 it was a great season for all the holders of altcoins during that time, then when 2018 came up it was a doom to anyone who are not deeply mature on cryptocurrency business in terms of trading in the market. its been 9 months I think where market was totally declined in terms of its price value of the altcoins to all exchanges platform. But I sense that it will happen again this 2019 bearish is almost close to be finish this year.
No doubt that 2018 remains as a hard time for the crypto investors, and still they are passing from hard time, but I think that they have to wait for some more time and very are expecting that 2019 will be more goof the all crypto currencies, there we need to remain patient for some more time.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Many cryptocurrency players have gone bankrupt on: October 27, 2018, 11:57:50 AM
given in any industry if you are not that good in that specific area of business most likely you will be ending bankrupt but dont let this this happen without giving you a good lesson in life and try again some time. a great trader is product of tons fail calls.
Yes that is right, but I think that if we are new in trading then we need to be careful and should try to do trading in a limit, where we can afford to our lost, I think that we first need to get some experience which can prevent us to become bankrupt.
32  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin won't top $9,000 by year's end, Novogratz says on: October 27, 2018, 10:31:41 AM
I can't see it even reaching much above 6.5K.  Or might even collapse completely.  What new folk are going to enter the market now.  Just can see why anybody would.
Yeah I agree with this. The price today is below $6500 and the month is going to finish. Just two more months to go in this year and I don’t think that there will be any big bump in the price. If the price reaches $8000 till the end of this year, it will be enough, but should not decrease again. Gradually it will go up more and more and hope it will reach to $20000 in the next year.
33  Economy / Speculation / Re: DO NOT GIVE UP !! on: October 27, 2018, 09:18:57 AM
It is not easy to say do not give up while your capital or whole money is on a cryptocurrency that has been trending downwards for the past 10 months. Yet if the coin is solid and still hope the developers can fulfil their promise on the project then is worth waiting without given up.
I react by converting from various altcoins that I have to about 5 coins that I consider to be good, especially bitcoin. too bad to analyze everything because the average is still waiting for the momentum of bitcoin. But some altcoins begin to enjoy price increases that can provide small profits every day. I try to be more active and not give up with a situation that continues to decline throughout the year.
In fact people still too much confident about bitcoin price, they are therefore giving more preference to bitcoin over other crypto currencies, I hope that a time will come when bitcoin will surely give them a very good profit, they just need to continue waiting for the bitcoin price to improve.
34  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you think the market is down right now? on: October 27, 2018, 08:14:37 AM
I think the market is down due to the psychology of people, most people are psychologically waiting for the market signs increase. For a long time, most people continued to wait, even have negative psychology. They will either Hodl or sell, and do not want to invest at the moment.
Yes that is right, I also think that there is nothing wrong in the market but still the price is trading too much low, I think that it is only bitcoin of the psychological factors, I hope very soon people will get their confidence back and will start investing money in bitcoin which will surely give good boosts to bitcoin price.
